Chapter 2. I mean 10. Totally forgot about this story. SO DANGED SORRY. GUYS HELP ME OUT. I NEED A WAY TO END THIS. I WANTED TO END WITH PEPPER JOINING AGAIN, OF COURSE, BUT THE DETAILS ARE HAZY. I wanted to say thank you to my lovely reviewer Katie, aka changingtheflesh. Cool name, btw.

Chapter 10: Totally different time period

While Iron Man was fighting Blaze, Ghost was still watching Obadiah stare at the small device suspiciously.

"You'd better hurry up. My daughter won't be able to hold up Iron Man for long, and when he comes back, he will make sure you get what's coming to you."

Obadiah looked up nervously, "You'd better hurry up. So why don't you just, hand me that little chest plate of yours and put in mine?"

Obadiah's glazed eyes cleared and he roared swatting at Ghost, "You think me a fool?" he shouted. Pepper and Tony stopped fighting mid swing to look over at them to figure out what happened.

"I know of your plan. Do you think I do not know the story of Ant Man defeating Kang the Conqueror by giving him a faulty chest plate?!" (1)

"Actually, I was hoping you didn't." Ghost growled.

Obadiah roared again before turning to Iron Man and Blaze. Again, he quickly swatted Iron Man to the side before picking Pepper up. She writhed around trying to escape but to no avail. He swung her around before pulling her to eye level, staring at her limp figure in his hands.

He smiled and turned to Iron Man, a ray of light shooting from his chest. Iron Man quickly dodged and flew while Obadiah followed him with the beam from his chest.

"Watch out!" Tony shouted flying straight into Ghost.

The collapsed in a heap as Obadiah's laugh cackled and he took Pepper out into the freezing cold air and climbed to the top of the building.

Tony groaned pulling himself up and off of Ghost.

"We have to get Pepper!" Tony exclaimed. Ghost glared at him from beneath the hood.

"Don't you think I KNOW that. But first, we have to stick with the plan."

Obadiah stared at the limp figure in his hands grinning savagely.

"Obadiah, get you're hands off my daughter." Ghost called.

"Yea!" Tony agreed.

"It's iron man you want!" Ghost shouted.

"Yeah!" Tony agreed, "Wait-" he paused, "What?" as if just realizing he sold himself out.

"Oh, I'll settle for both of you. Right after the little damsel in distress."

"Obadiah!" Pepper shouted, "if you so much as lay a finger on me I swear I will somehow figure out how to turn you into a giant cockroach! Even more than you already are you skinny, bald headed, poor excuse of a-"

"ARGH! WILL YOU KEEP QUIET FOR MORE THAN TWO SECONDS?!" Obadiah shouted shaking her again.

Pepper groaned hanging her head and trying not to hurl. "That's right," sneered Obadiah slowly squeezing her with his thumb and index finger.

Suddenly something hit Stane in the back startling him and causing him to toss Pepper off the side of the building. She screamed.

"PEPPER!" Ghost shouts about to hurl himself over but Obadiah grabs him and holds him in mid air, halting his pitiful attempt to save his daughter.

Obadiah turned to come face to face with nothing.

He glares, "You ruined my catch." He snarls plucking Tony-who was in the middle of trying to nose dive to save her-out of the air, "PEPPER!" He shouts struggling pitifully.

Iron Monger throws him to the ground he struggles to stand but the Mongers foot is planted right on top of him. Slowly crushing all the juice/ energy from the suit.

Stane laughs evilly watching the fight leave Iron Man until he looks back at Ghost who he finds is gone. He opens his hand in search of him and lifts his foot, forgetting all about the person underneath.

Tony rolled away glancing up.

"Ghost, any day now!" Iron Man shouted.

"Hold you tongue kid, this is harder than it looks, you wanna switch jobs?" Ghost snapped back sarcastically.

"YES!" Tony shouted, "You distract him I'll do whatever it is you're supposed to do."

"The next time he opens his face mask, put this into his chest piece." He drops something into his hand, "It will send his controls haywire."

"What about him?" Tony asked.

"Who cares about him?!" Ghost asked incredulously, "I'm taking him down one way or another."

"But you can't just-"

"Watch me." Ghost snaps snatching the small chip back and performing a series of back flips and somersaults.

"Iron Monger!" Ghost shouts waving. He cocks his head and reaches forward to him.

Tony pauses trying to think of ways to get Obadiah out before Ghost delivers the fleeting blow.

There is a whirring of engines and Tony turns to see Rhodey come up firing rapidly at Obadiah.

"We have to make sure Stane gets out of the Monger before Ghost puts the chip in."

"hmm, yea... things just got a lot more complicated." Rhodey said.

Guys sorry about the long wait, don't worry I'm not dead, but I've lost my (dramatic) inspiration. Anyways thanks for being awesome and sticking with me, if you haven't I don't blame you.

Guys listen, I'm sorry. But I am done. Don't expect another update cuz I don't think their will be one. Maybe if I just randomly come up with something to happen then I'll continue but for now I'm done. Sorry soo much.
