I know it's been some time, sorry! But I started watching Bleach and once you start it you just can't stop! Also I started to write on a Bleach fanfic, so if you're a fan of it feel free to take a peek.

Previously:

Madara closed his own eyes and let his head hang, leaning down and placing a kiss on his little brother's forehead that was still covered in sweat. His expression however was peaceful and it didn't take that much of imagination to pretend that he was only sleeping.

"I promise you that I will lead the Uchiha to victory" Madara whispered. "Your death won't be wasted."

Chapter 10: The funeral

Madara left the tent only an hour later. Outside he halted for a moment to observe his surroundings. The view he now had was so different… It was the view from different eyes, and a completely different sight. He had no problem at all adjusting to his new eyes, Izuna's eyes, through which he was now looking at the changed world. It was like everything had become much clearer. Through using his Mangekyou too often the cursed blindness had already started to affect him but now it was gone.

"Thank you, brother" he whispered and then walked to his tent. Inside that Senju woman was sitting on the bed with her eyes closed but she opened them as soon as he entered.

"What are you doing here?" he growled, his anger rising once again and making the emptiness and numbness he had felt seconds ago vanish.

"I…"

"Leave now" he said with a warning undertone that left no room for arguments. Without any objection she stood up and walked past him with her head lowered. For an instant he thought about testing his new powers on her, he already could see the blood spilling, the hole he would rip inside her tiny chest, her eyes widening while she was choking out her last breath.

But Madara didn't do anything of it, not yet, and let her past. He would save the first time using his powers for crushing either Tobiramam or Hashirama. Or both together.

He pulled out a sake bottle he had stored away in the armoire and sat down at his desk, opening the bottle and drinking right from it. Actually the alcohol should have been used for their final victory. It was meant to be drunk upon the Senju's defeat. Now he had opened the sake bottle to drown the sorrow he was feeling because of his beloved brother's death. Now it was to forget the victory of the Senju.

Madara took a large gulp.

However, it wouldn't be their final victory. These damn Senju were going to pay for this! He would defeat them all by his own! He would watch them die through his brother's eyes; slaughtering everyone who had this damn Senju blood in their veins! He would erase their very presence from this world! No one in the future would ever remember the name Senju because it would be the Uchiha who would lead them!

Madara emptied the bottle and took out the next one.

He should start with that Senju whore who was currently in his camp. Maybe he should chop off her head and send it to Hashirama or hanging her body parts into the trees for the Senju to find them. That would be fitting, considering that Hashirama - that fucked up wood user - was her leader. Madara could also drag her with him to the next battle and kill her violently while her clansmen were forced to watch before he would start to slaughter them all. He could already see it… The Senju, dying mercilessly through his hand, Tobirama screaming in agony when he ripped his body apart and Hashirama would probably just stand there and rant about their dream. Yeah right, that naïve foul would never get it. Their dream ended the moment the previous Senju leader, Hashirama's father, tried to kill his little brother. Now that his son had succeeded, that dream had turned into a nightmare. It was merely a child's fantasy, unreachable.

Madara emptied one bottle after the other. He already was at the last one when an Uchiha appeared in his tent. The man shifted nervously while kneeling down in front of his desk, his head lowered.

"What is it? Can't you see I'm busy?!" Madara growled. He couldn't show weakness, he couldn't show how he was really feeling; empty. The alcohol had succeeded in dulling the despair and sadness but it only was temporarily and he already could fell them coming back to the surface. So, before they could fully resurface, he changed these feelings into anger and hatred. It wasn't the shinobi's fault; it was only because of Madara's pride that he had that killer aura around him now instead of breaking down into tears.

"L-Lord Madara, we prepared… the… the f-funeral."

The funeral… The anger was blown away so suddenly and all that was left was once again the realization that his brother was dead and would never be by his side again. He fought back all the happy memories that were already rising in his mind by just thinking about Izuna. Without a word he emptied the last sake bottle and followed the Uchiha outside.

The sky was cloudy but the sun managed to break through at some spots. They had made the hole for the burial on top of a small hill. Every Uchiha had come to the funeral, they stepped back as soon as Madara arrived and let him walk through. Madara though didn't even notice any of the ninjas. His eyes were fixed on the top of the hill where the coffin was already waiting for him.

He stopped when he was standing in front of the hole, looking down at the simple wooden coffin his brother was lying in. His skin was pale; the blood that had covered him earlier was gone. They had changed his clothes so that he was now dressed into loose white ones. His hands were crossed in front of his chest. A bandage was wrapped around his head to hide the empty eye sockets.

He looked so peaceful… Like he would only sleep.

Suddenly Madara's mind was overwhelmed with old memories of their time spent together… Izuna always had been there for him. When their brothers died one after another, when he found their mother dead, when their father was killed in battle, when he was entrusted with their clan… Izuna always had been there, supporting him, being the rock in his life. Now he was gone and Madara was left alone in this damn cursed world.

"Lord Madara… do you want to say something?" An Uchiha asked. He was the one who was always preparing the funerals when there was a body left that could be buried.

Madara stared down at the ghostly pale corpse of his brother. What was he supposed to say, in front of all of his clansmen, without appearing to be weak? So he only shook his head.

"There is nothing left to say. Please, just finish burying him." His voice was hoarse and dull. The Uchiha simply nodded. They put down the coffin lid and then filled the hole with earth. Madara just watched. There was a thick silence lingering over the hill. No one was speaking a word. Even the birds were silent.

When finally it was done Madara turned around, glad to leave that place. Again his clansmen created a passage for him to walk through. He was just about to walk back to his tent when he felt two eyes staring at his back. He turned around to meet the eyes of that Senju woman. She had come to the funeral and was standing in the shadows of a tree behind the rows of Uchihas. Madara was surprised to actually see sadness in her eyes; no malicious joy, happiness, or satisfaction, but non-faked sadness.

Madara turned around and stepped inside his tent. He just had decided it.

Before this day would end he was going to kill that Senju.

Madara stared down at the Kage with narrowed eyes. How dare them… How dare them making him remember the death of his little brother! His eyes wandered to the blonde woman. He would rip her heart out in the way he had intended to do it with Tobirama. She, who was related with the murderer of Izuna!

"Before we start our battle I'd like to know one thing first" the Senju woman was… well… actually demanding. He growled inwardly and swore to himself that he would kill her slowly and painfully.

"Why exactly did you kill Nami? You kept her alive for that long, why killing her after all? And how did she die?"

A short smirk showed up on the Uchiha's lips. "Actually, her death was kind of… humorous."

Yep, short chapter, I know. Hope you still liked it!

However, the next chapter will definitely be the last one to come. It will show how exactly Nami died. After that the story will be finished!

I hope I'll be able to write the next chapter sooner though.

Like every time, please review!
