Card, Ten of Hearts: Hide and Seek Amusement Park Style
Youji stood in front of the Amusement Park entrance, catching her breath from running away from her friends.
"There's….no way….I'm wearing….a fucking dress!" Youji muttered to herself through her pants.
"Though, it would be funny." Yo said within Youji's mind.
"Oh shut up, man-whore!" Youji yelled at Yo within her head. "And I totally knew that you were really a crossdresser!"
"That's because I'm stuck with a girl within a girl's body!" Yo yelled in his defense.
"That's a terrible excuse." Youji said before jumping when hearing Emily's voice.
"Get back here, Youji, you mangy cat!" Emily exclaimed.
"They're coming already?!" Youji exclaimed as she ran into the Park.
"You honestly thought you're that fast of a runner?" Yo asked.
"Not now, crossdresser!" Youji said within her mind as she frantically looked around for a place to hide in.
She was so busy looking for a hiding place that she didn't notice a certain cat coming her way.
"Use your eyes, dummy!" Yo yelled.
"I am!" Youji yelled back.
However, as she looked ahead, she ran straight into Boris and fell backwards onto her bum.
"Ite~!" Youji groaned out, rubbing her bottom.
"Hey, you okay?" Boris asked as he held out his hand to her.
"I'll be fine for about a minute," Youji said, sweating a little while smiling at Boris.
She took his hand and got to her feet before dusting herself off.
"I know you're in here, Youji!" Emily yelled.
Youji let out a slight scream and jumped, grabbing onto Boris.
"Help me hide!" she said, looking at the taller boy pleadingly.
"Why?" Boris asked, curious as to why.
"Tell you later, hide me now!" Youji said.
"Promise?" Boris asked with a sly smile.
"Yes! I promise!" Youji exclaimed before looking over her shoulder.
She could see Dragon and Emily searching for her just a few feet away, making her pale in fright. Just as they turned their heads in her direction, Youji felt someone grab her hand and pull her away.
"Huh?" Youji said, blinking as she turned to look at who was leading her away from her friends.
"I hope your reason's good!" Boris said as he shined Youji his smile.
Youji said nothing as she turned red to Boris's smile.
"Out of all of the attractions here, you chose the House of Mirrors to hide in?" Youji said as she crossed her arms and looked at Boris sternly.
Boris had lead Youji all the way to the House of Mirrors to hide in from her friends.
"Well, it was either this or the old man's house." Boris said, "And I know we both don't want to be victims to his "music"."
"Not for a long while," Youji said, shivering at the memory of hearing Gowland's music for the first time.
"Though it was funny to see your friends getting mad at him." Boris said, chuckling.
"Bet it was," Youji said. "So, how long should we hide out in here?"
"Probably till your friends get tired of looking for you." Boris said, putting his hands behind his head.
"That's going to be a long while," Youji said.
"Well, since we've got time, why are you hiding from your friends in the first place?" Boris asked.
"It's because they want to put me in a fucking dress." Youji said, groaning at the thought.
"That's it?" Boris asked, looking disappointed since he was expecting more to it than that.
"Yup," Youji said.
"That's boring," Boris said, frowning.
"It's because I don't wear dresses." Youji said, looking up at the taller boy.
"And that's why they want to put you in one now?" Boris asked.
"It's because we got our invitations to the ball." Youji explained. "Emily wants me to wear a fucking dress to it and I don't want to. I rather go in something pink and stand in the corner of the ballroom than wear a dress. No offense."
"None taken," Boris said. "So, is there anything that may change your mind?"
"About what?" Youji asked, tilting her head.
"About you wearing the dress? There's gotta be something they could use against you to make you wear one." Boris said.
Youji remained silent for a moment or two to Boris's question while turning red.
"W-w-whose side are you on?!" Youji exclaimed.
"I found her, Emily-senpai!" Dragon's voice said, indicating that she was in the House of Mirrors.
A scream came out of Youji's mouth before she grabbed Boris's arm and booked it to the nearest exit.
"And you got onto me for choosing the House of Mirrors," Boris said, pouting as he and Youji were now hiding among the crowd near the Merry-Go-Round.
"I panicked," Youji said in her defense. "Besides, this would be a good way to make fun of Gowland."
"True," Boris said, "but you thought up that reason just now, didn't you?"
"So sue me," Youji said, glaring at Boris. "You've got a better plan?"
"Well, we could always go on one of the old man's latest rides." Boris suggested.
Youji paled at the thought. Going on one of Gowland's newer rides was something she didn't wish to experience, ever.
"We'll use that if they managed to find us here." Youji said, praying that her friends would not find her.
"Alright," Boris said. "So, do you want to actually ride the ride?"
"Nah," Youji said, "Too easy of a joke and too noticeable for my friends to ignore."
"Especially around Mister Kitty here," Yo said teasingly within Youji's head.
"I will come in there and kill you, Yo!" Youji exclaimed, hissing as she glared at nothing.
"Who's Yo?" Boris asked, curiosity peaked.
"No one important," Youji said, looking at him.
"Really? You sure?" Boris asked, smirking as he leaned in close to Youji.
"Y-y-yup! Positive!" Youji said, leaning back while turning red again.
"Huh, doesn't seem like it." Boris said.
"Wh-wh-why would you say that?" Youji said while avoiding eye contact.
This made Boris smirk even more. "Because you're turning red, Youji." he said, leaning even closer to her.
Youji turned even redder as she leaned further back. However, before things could get even more awkward for the young cat girl….
"Youji! Get your ass out here now!" the familiar voice of Taylor's exclaimed.
This time a blood curdling scream came from Youji, making Boris cover his ears.
"To one of Gowland's rides!" Youji exclaimed as she grabbed onto Boris again.
"Fine, whatever you say." Boris said.
He grabbed hold of Youji's hand and lead her away from the carousel and towards one of the newer rides made by Gowland. Youji couldn't help but pale to this.
