Hey everyone! I'm really sorry for the month break, I really am! I didn't expect to be gone for this long! School really kicked my aft. We had midterms and then they jumped right back in, I've been busy. Although that's a horrible excuse, because I use it every time but it's true. Life hates me writing so I can't post. I do have a good amount written on per but now I have to transfer the paper to computer, that could take awhile since I procrastinate. I will try my best to get up more ASAP!

(EDIT- actually I really haven't had time to type it up but my summer is coming soon so if everyone could wait just a few more weeks at the most I will update. I'm so sorry for such the long break in between chapters! :(

I know this is short but seriously the family connection will make sense soonish. I'll try to work it in there but I might just make a " story" on connections. Or I'll post it on my profile, it could take awhile and I know it might be a pain so in advance I'm sorry! Hope you all enjoy the chapter!

WARNING! Optimus and some other characters might be a little OOC but it is an AU so I hope that was expected...

Going to recharge and fake fighting

" Although, you should get your rest little one. Might get you out of here and training, which I know you love to train people and yourself." He said to me concerned and I looked ( probably) and felt happy but a little tired as well.

" Alright dad, have a good night." I said as I slowly lay down on the medical berth and wrapped the blanket tighter around myself. I looked up at his blue optics which had a kind look in them, as well as relieved. I think he was happy to have most of his family together. I felt dad lay a servo over my body, which is his way of giving me a hug.

" Have a good recharge sweetspark, talk to you tomorrow." He said as I heard dad's hulking form get up from the the chair that was besides my berth.

" Yea sounds nice." I mumble as a reply. I felt my eyes/ optics ( unsure what I should call them in my bolt/ human looking form. I think I will stay with optics.) as I fall into a deep but peaceful recharge.

Optimus POV

As I was talking to her I felt my old emotions come back up. I kept them in of course but when I saw Gotenna wake up I was relieved. I was certainly relieved that she hadn't eye life threatening injured.

I honestly don't know what I would do if she wasn't alright. I would most likely be a mess to put it lightly. Which in this time of war would lead to devastating things for my team and family as well as any surviving and lost Autobot.

I was happy when I was able to talk to her. She did smile at me which if I'm honest, made my spark warm at the scene. I mean I am her Sire and I did raise her, I care a lot about her. Although the fact that she was smiling after being as injured and the battle and everything afterwards was a strength.

I am proud to call myself her Sire. She has a ton of strength as a person and in fighting and I will admit in will power. She is strong, which I believe everyone admires about her. I know when, in human years, was 4 she was kidnapped twice in the same day but was of course scared for life but was strong and handled it. I am proud of her. I could be what humans say, " Worlds proudest and luckiest father." Although I do regret having her fight at such an early age.

I was happy that I was able to wrap my servo around her again. Or just give her any sort of physical hug or contact. Its been a long time since I was able to and I'll be honest when Cybertron fell I was worried for both of them. I knew they could fight but my protective side kicked in. I was upset that I was unable to protect her but I'm sure every Sire feels that way when they can't protect there family.

I was happy and I felt a smile, even if it was small, appear on my faceplate. She cuddled into my semi-hug. It mainly consisted of her cuddling into my servo wither as a hug or for warmth. I think it could also be the latter of the two.

I saw that she was tired and I recommended that she lay down and get some recharge. I heard her mumble a response and I smiled down at my youngling. I saw that she was in recharge. I walked towards the door with a small smiled gracing my face. Although, I know everyone would be mad at me if I wasn't at least semi smiling. I walked out feeling better than I have in orns, or years according to humans. I know that my youngling is alright. That alone can make any Carrier or Sire feel the same way.

Third POV

Everyone got out of the medbay as did Ratchet and they all saw the soundproof go up as did the tinting of the window at the same time.

" So glad she's alright. I thought she could of been off-lined by the time we found her. It has been a long while since we last saw her." Gale voiced his relief by finding one of his only 'sister.'

" She's tough Gale! You should have more faith in her!" Jay yelled as he walked behind Gale and smacked the back of his head Gibbs style.

( AN: Sorry I had too, it was too tempting! XD)

" OW! That hurt!" Gale exclaimed playfully as he started to try and hit each other. It almost turned into a sparing match. They are like brothers to one another. Everyone either laughed or grinned at them. Gozen saw them fake fighting and jumped on them and they fell over and Kaden and Ace fell over laughing. They fell to the ground they were laughing so hard.

"Its on now squirt!" Gale fake evil laughed and put him in a loose head lock and rubbed his knuckle in Gozen's head lightly and playfully. Everyone's mood was lifted slightly by watching these guys. It was fun for them to watch this. Took away some of the seriousness that they all felt.

They all heard the door open and Gale and Gozen played it up like they were just talking and not just wrestling with each other. Everyone looked like they were talking although some had a smile to hid there laughter. Optimus came out of the Med-Bay and as quietly as he could closed the door.

" How'd it go boss bot?" Jazz asked right as the door closed, worried about there friend or who he considers a sister. ( AN: the family relationships will make sense soon as they will be explained soon. Sorry if it is confusing. Also sorry if I keep repeating this)

" It went well." Optimus answered with a small smile on his face. He turned towards Ratchet " Ratchet just to let you know she was feeling fatigued so she went into recharge and is currently doing so." Optimus told Ratchet and Ratchet nodded.

"Thanks Optimus, I'll let her know that the rest of you want to visit her. But for now, no visiting until then." Ratchet told them with a wrench in hand. Everyone got a worried or scared look. Some try acting tough but they were just as afraid as the more openly scared ones were. Ratchet then smirked and put the wrench back inside his subspace. He then walked back into the Med-Bay quietly as to not to wake his recharging patient up. Everyone then just went to wait and continue there normal routine. Of course they were thinking about Gotenna but they really had no choice. They had to keep an eye out for Decepticons and protect Earth, being the Autobots and Bolts home, as well as all the humans who inhabit this planet. They all just were biding there time so they could go and visit Gotenna.
