Bella's p.o.v.
"Yes! A river." I said when I came across it. I dove into it, not caring about my tail at all. They already know about it and I'll bet they are planning how to get rid of us. I swam farther and then I saw Emma coming towards me. Her eyes were red-puffed, like she had been crying. When she saw me, Emma pointed up, so we could talk.
"Emma, what happened?" "It's Cleo. She, she's dead." Emma told me and she looked away. I couldn't believe it. Even though I knew her, Emma and Rikki just for a short while, it felt like we are sisters. "How?" I asked Emma. "We were hiding in a cave when it started collapsing. She threw me out of it, but Cleo stayed." Emma finished. "Poor Cleo." I muttered, when I saw the sun was about to go down. "Emma, we need a place to stay for the night." "You're right. We can't stay in the river." Emma and me swam back the way I came from.
Charlotte's p.o.v.
"Too bad she killed them both." I softly said while I looked at the corps of Nate and Zane. Rikki was still on fire. I could kill her, but this was more fun to watch. After a few minutes, Rikki let out one last scream and I jumped out of the tree I was hiding in and I ran away from the scene. Two hovercrafts flew past me and I knew they would get the bodies. I need a place to stay tonight. I don't know what it was what she could do, but I'll bet her friends can do something like her too. I mean, what else could she have used them for?
Isn't that Lewis? I thought when I saw a blond head behind a few bushes. What a stupid hiding place. I prepared myself to stab him in the back when he turned around. His eyes got huge and he shouted: "Don't do it!" I hesitated, but that was a mistake. Lewis jumped up and he threw me at the ground. I managed to roll away, but Lewis ran after me. I stretched my legs and he tripped over them. This time, I didn't give him a chance to say anything and I stabbed him right in the heart. He let out one last sigh and I let him fall down. I looked down at him and I let a few tears go by when I heard the cannon.
