I know it has been a very VERY long time since there was an update but the problem was that I lost the notebook I had been writing the story in and the typed copies when my computer died (and that was I think 3 laptops ago). I pretty much tore my room apart trying to find the notebook, but apparently missed one spot. Today I went to reorganize my dresser and pulled out one of the drawers and just happened to look over when the drawer was out and found the notebook. It was smashed and bent but still very usable. So good news, if anyone is still interested in this (now outdated) story. My goal is to finish it.
Things have changed since I started this story (mainly Days of Future Past coming out) but I'm going to keep with it as I originally intended. Pre-DoFP (or how ever you want to abbreviate it).
I am currently a grad student so it may take a bit of time but I promise it wont be years again.
