Chapter 10

New Love

It's been a couple weeks since Yugi was almost attacked. So now whenever he leaves the manor, he'll have Amber or Ryou and Malik with him during the day, and Yami and Atem with him at night. Being a human living among vampires and a werewolf would seem frightening at first, but given the last couple of months, Yugi came to cherish them as important friends with two of the vampires being more precious to him.

Yugi had been getting together with some of the vampires he met weeks ago at the Dancing Shadows. Anzu, the one other vampire he knew through one of his friends, had informed him about everyone back at home being worried about him, but she had told Honda that Yugi is safe and once he returns he'll explain everything himself.

He even learned from Ryou, Bakura, Malik, Marik, Anzu and young Mokuba and Noah that Seto had met Jonouchi one night when he was almost attacked as well. Apparently Jonouchi had started to see if he could uncover clues about his best friend's disappearance when he ended up in an unfamiliar area. Cursing himself that he was lost and had lost track of the time, Jonouchi had found himself surrounded by a group of Yami vampires. Sure he's an expert at street fighting, but he never faced a group of Yami vampires that have nonhuman strength and could easily break a limb.

It wasn't long before Seto had joined in on the fight. As soon as the group recognized the CEO, they chickened out and left. Of course, Jonouchi isn't one to appreciate someone for helping him when he didn't realize who or what he was against. Then that eventually escalated into a heated argument that luckily ended with Shizuka and Otogi arriving, apparently searching for her brother. Seto had told them that he came to help Jonouchi in a fight against a group and of course the part that he didn't thank him, saying that he could have handled them without any help. Knowing that, Jonouchi earned a hard smack upside the head by Otogi for his behavior.

Sure the two had that silly argument, but that didn't stop Seto from checking on him from time to time. And eventually the two hung out ever since.

As of right now, Yami and Atem are in the room with their instruments, getting ready to play. But tonight, they are going to play a new tune. The two only play their instruments when they want to express how they're feeling, so this time they are playing a song to express their feelings for Yugi.

With Yugi, he is in his room, laying on his bed reading his favorite book with Amethyst curled up in a ball next to him. After he had dinner a couple minutes after dusk, Amber had told Yugi that her masters have something special for him. She told him that he'll know they want to see him when he hears music.

Just in the middle of a romantic scene in his book, Yugi did hear music. The song being played had a long, sweet and romantic tune to it. Marking his spot in his book and gently pet Amethyst as she kept sleeping, Yugi leaves his room and follows the sound of music. Making his way around the manor, listening closely to the song until he came across a door that the music is coming from, the room where Yugi had offered Yami and Atem his blood.

Opening the ebony door, sure enough the two Yami vampires are there, playing their ideal instrument with Yami moving the bow up, down and across the neck of his violin and Atem pressing down on a few high, medium and low keys and stepping on one of the three pedals on his grand piano. Yugi notice Yami open his eyes for a moment before closing them again with Atem nodding his head once. He had figured that the two friends had send each other messages in their minds.

Soon the two came to the end of their song with Yami placing his violin on it's stand and Atem closing the fall since he's done playing. With their full attention on him now, Yugi had a hand over his heart. "That was beautiful."

"Amber had told us that ever since you were young, you've heard our music coming from the mountains and you could tell how we were feeling just by listening to our songs." said Yami as he and his best friend sat on one of the sofas in the room.

"For as long as I can remember, I've always been able to know how someone feels through music I hear to the look in someone's eyes. I guessed that my sense of hearing and sight are stronger."

Then the two felt like testing him to see if he could figure out what they were feeling. "Alright, we want to know what you felt from listening to our music just now."

"I could feel that you two have strong romantic feelings for someone, maybe the same person."

"Bet you want to find out who it is we love." When he simply nodded, the two Yami vampires signal him to come closer. He did, and the two each took one of his hands into theirs. Before Yugi knew it, Yami had taken a hold of the back of his head and let their lips collide. Completely shocked at first, but Yugi settled and kiss Yami back as the hand he took caress his face.

Right after they broke the kiss, Atem let Yugi catch his breath for a moment before he also claim his sweet lips in a kiss too. To be kissed by both Yami vampires he had come to love, Yugi felt so happy to know that both Yami and Atem love him as well. Once the kiss ended, Yugi positioned himself between the two boys with one arm wrap around their shoulders and gently pull their faces closer to him.

He is so happy that there were no words to describe his happiness. Both placing one hand over his chest, as they felt the beating of his fluttering heart, Yami and Atem smile as they sensed their lover's happiness through his racing heart.

As the three relax in the positions they're in, the vampire powers that runs through their veins seeped out enough to cover Yugi, creating a double seal around his body that will let off a smell only detected by other vampires, to show that Yugi is claimed by Yami and Atem as their lover, making him completely safe unless any other vampire can figure out how to get around the seal without hurting themselves since the seal will send a sharp shock to anyone that attempt to even touch him.
