The next day was the games! Jackie and Xavier got up at 8am and were freakin' scared. Jackie pulled her hair in her usual ponytail and slipped on her trademark fingerless gloves. She was dressed in a brown tee, tan cargo pants, socks, and short black boots. Jackie walked with Johanna to the hovercraft, while walking Johanna was giving Jackie really good advice on how to stay alive.

"Make sure to find a safe place to camp out but make sure it's closed off from the other tributes". Johanna said. "Okay got it". Jackie said. "Find water if you don't have a weapon make one or make a trap for food. Traps are a wonderful thing". Johanna said. They walked outside and saw the hovercraft. Jackie's face froze in place.

"Jackie you got this. Look at me I believe in you kiddo. Good luck Cool Kitty". Johanna soothed while having her hand on Jackie's cheek. Jackie jumped up and hugged Johanna. Johanna felt like crying but like the strong and furious woman she was she kept it under control. "Thank you Johanna". Jackie whispered. After their hug Jackie aboard the hovercraft, it took off while inside the Peace Keepers were giving the tributes a tracker to put inside their arms.

"Give me your arm". A female Peace Maker said. "What's that"? Jackie asked nervously. "A tracker". She said taking Jackie's arm and putting the tracker in. "The Game Makers need to keep track of you". She said. Jackie felt a slight tingle rush through her veins which kinda stung. Later Jackie was escorted by the Peace Keepers to the launching room.

Jackie saw Maya and Katniss there. Jackie felt happy seeing the people she liked before taking off into that god forsaken arena. Jackie gave them both a hug. "Sssh its okay were here". Maya soothed. "Do you want some water"? Katniss asked. Jackie nodded and took a few gulps but not too much, she didn't wanna have a full bladder or else she could wet herself. Katniss gave her arena jacket it was black "Look at me". Katniss purred. "Yes"? Jackie asked. "No matter happens be strong and don't give up". Katniss said as she kissed Jackie's forehead. "Okay". Jackie whimpered.

"I can't bet but if I could I'd bet on you". Maya smiled. When Maya said those exact words Katniss was shocked and felt like someone punched her in the face. "30 seconds". A Game Makers voice said. Jackie knew she had get into her tube. "Well looks like I gotta fly bye guys". Jackie said then giving them one last hug before stepping into the tube.

Jackie took one last look at Katniss and Maya before being shipped off to the arena. When Jackie was transported to the arena she saw the other tributes all scared and terrified for their lives. Jackie couldn't see Xavier but she saw Shaundra about 8 tributes for the left away from her. Shaundra's outfit was a dark brown shirt, olive green cargos, socks, tan boots and her hair was tied in pigtails. Her arena jacket was black also like hers.

Once every tribute was there the countdown began. "40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30". A Game Makers voice said. Everyone in the Capitol practically screamed like dolphins and we're super excited but as for everyone back in Panem they were nervous and very scared for their children. In District 7 Jackie's dad watched with caution and fear and Le held Lily crying. In District 5 Caleb's parents and brothers and sister were terrified for him and in District 11 Shaundra's mom and dad looked like there were gonna have a heart attack.

The countdown began to shorten the back word numbers felt like stairways of death to Caleb. Caleb's outfit was a red shirt, dark tan cargos, socks, and black boots. His arena jacket was brown. Caleb's heart pounded faster and faster every second. 'Bring on the pain and blood. Just because I'm a pit bull doesn't mean I'm vicious and savage'. He thought. Even though that thought didn't make any sense what so ever that was what Caleb thought before the gong went off. "5,4,3,2,1". The Game Maker said. The gong rang everyone ran off their platforms and dashed into the Cornucopia, 2 tributes are already dead.

Jackie was very careful going into the Cornucopia it may be dangerous and stupid but she wanted to grab a bag. Jackie then spotted a green and black bag with an axe and a bow and arrow! Jackie dashed to grab it and strapped it on her back. While fleeing trying to escape to craziness a girl from District 6 10 times her height and size grabbed her by the neck and choked her.

"Let go". Jackie choked. The D-6 girl just chuckled evilly. Jackie kicked her in the chest and ran for her life. Jackie ran as fast as she could while running she heard the screams and cries of the tributes being slaughtered to death. Jackie pushed the cries out of her head. After 30 minutes of running, Jackie's tiny kitty cat legs were tired. She found a big long log and sat down.

Jackie unzipped her bag she was curious on what she got. "Let's see what we got". Jackie said going through her bag. What she found was matches, a water bottle….with nothing in it, a sleeping bag which looked like a black rubber garbage bag, extra socks, a pocket knife, and night vision glasses. Her weapons were the axe, the bow and arrows and also her claws. That's right she can use her kitty cat claws to defend herself.

The cannon went off. "BOOM"! The cannon went. Jackie was started on the loud noise. Jackie counted how many times the cannon went off. It went off 8 times. 8 tributes are dead 18 are left. This arena was different from the 74th Hunger Games. It was in a forest but this forest was very different. This forest had a large lake and even some berries bushes.

But there weren't very many trees the problem with very little tree's is that you're exposed and being exposed means death! Jackie had to find a place to sleep tonight but it has to be somewhere far away so no Careers can find her. Hours later Jackie found a nice cozy spot for the night.

She found a tree that was wide enough for her to stay in. Jackie entered the wide inside of the tree and hid, she heard the anthem play. The anthem playing signals how many tributes died today. Jackie climbed up and peeked out and looked up at the sky. She was hoping that Shaundra, Caleb, or Xavier weren't gonna be up there.

Jackie was relieved looks like her friends are safe….for now. Who knows what can happen but all that matters is that there all safe and sound. Jackie crawled back into the tree and prepared for sleep. She laid out her sleeping bag and crawled into it. Jackie stared up for several minutes she kept thinking about her family back in District 7. She wondered what they were thinking right this minute and wondered if they were watching.

After several minutes Jackie was out like a light. Tomorrow probably won't be so easy tomorrow could be Jackie's last.
