Note: I thought typing out a fan fiction on a tablet would be easy x.x I was DEAD wrong. Sorry, guys. My laptop died completely and I've been concentrating on other fics. I wanted to see what happened in the next season of Falling Skies before I wrote out anymore but I'm dying to go ahead and type it out!

I read over everything and tried to fix mistakes but on a tablet I kept getting distracted. This chapter is not as long as I wanted it to be, either. My original chapter was way longer but it was on the laptop when it died and I can't find my flash key with the chapter on it but if I find it I will go back and edit it.

I don't own Falling Skies and I'm sorry if this chapter sucks butt but I wanted to throw in a flashback of when everything started.

"Why is the ground shaking?" Katana asked her room mate who sat beside her on the couch. The television went out and Trisha stood up, placing the bowl of popcorn on the side table.

"I don't know but whatever it is... It's ruining our Walking Dead marathon!" Trisha walked outside with Katana behind her and the shaking became worse, throwing the two women to the ground. Their neighbors living around them were thrown to the ground as well. One of the older neighbors who helped the two out a lot called out to them from his spot on the ground. His fire helmet in one arm as he has just come back from a fire call.

"You girls alright?!"

"We're alright!" Katana answered.

Trisha yelled to the man, "What's happening?!"

"No idea!"

A rather loud engine-like noise was heard, something out of an alien invasion movie she had seen before and she turned around, sure enough in the sky was what seemed to be a ship of sorts, smaller drone-like ships slowly departing from it.

Like any other person, Trisha took out her phone and began filming.

"Trisha!" Katana ran to her side, "What is that?!"

Trisha shook her head as she zoomed in with the phone while filming to get a better look. Everything on the large levitating structures looked very hi-tech and, bluntly enough, alien.

Their neighbor waved his arm at them as if he were motioning them to run, "Girls, get out of here! Go!"

"We should listen to him!" Katana looked over her roommate and best friend's shoulder on the screen then shook her head, "I don't like this, Trish!"

"I don't either." Trish kept filming as she ran in the house and grabbed her bugout bag and some extra things as Katana done the same. Grabbing some valuables as fast as they could they shoved those in the bag as well. Thankfully Katana's car already had a lot of their stuff in the trunk already. Katana ran back and grabbed another messager bag and filled it after the others were thrown in the car, leaving Trisha annoyed at the car.

The ship that was now directly over them. Trisha grabbed the keys from Katana's bag and jumped in the car, starting it as soon as Katana came running out.

"Trisha! You can't drive! Your seizures-!"

"Get in the fucking car!" Trisha screamed and the other girl jumped in.

They stopped long enough to yell for their neighbor to get in but he shook his head, "I'm old and I've lived my life! Besides, I'll be needed here soon enough! Now go!"

They were away from town for the most part and luckily had plenty of backroads that thankfully had no traffic. Trisha was driving so fast Katana was sure they would die.

She was forced to slam on breaks when a small missile was shot down in front of them.

"What is that?!"

"I don't know but I'm not sticking around to find out!" Trisha jammed her foot onto the gas pedal and gunned it down the road to the far country area their friends and family lived in.

As soon as the two women were out of range of the alien space craft and the explosions, Trisha stopped the car and Katana turned around to look at what was now pure devestation.

"So glad we left when we did! But they will come out this way soon, we need to take shelter in the bunker... Trish?" She noticed her friend had gone silent and looked to see her gripping the wheel of the car tight, her body shaking gently. Though it wasn't a seizure but some sort of shock at what had just happened, "Trish, come on. Switch sides with me."

Katana got out of the car and walked around to the driver's side where she opened the door.

"Trish, we're safe for the time being but we need to hurry to the bunker, ok?" Her response was a quick headshake, "Come on, let go of the wheel and I'll drive."

Trisha leaned back in the seat with a calming sigh before she crawled to the passenger seat of the car where she grabbed the phone off the clip that had been attached to her belt, it was still recording.

As Katana drove off, Trisha texted the video to their group of friends and family with the message, 'We are ok, on our way there. Prepare the bunker.'

...

"Hold your fire! Don't shoot! its Cochise!"

"Cochise?!"

Trisha followed the other's gaze and saw Cochise, president in his arms. She couldn't comprehend anything he or the others said when he put the man down and stood back up. She dropped her gun and ran to him, throwing her arms around him in which he done the same to her pulling her into a powerful and loving embrace.

"I told you I would return, did I not?"

"You did, don't ever leave me again." They pressed their lips together in a passionate kiss, not giving a damn what any and everybody else thought. The world seemed to stop while they were in each others arms.

Later when the president was concious again, Trisha walked in the room after everyone but Cochise and Lourdes left.

"Trisha, have you met the president yet?"

"No, I haven't." She stepped up next to the bed and shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, sir."

"And it is a pleasure to finally meet you. Your boyfriend here saved my life and I am not quite sure how to repay him."

"Boyfriend?"

Cochise smiled and Trisha's expression as she looked from Cochise back to the president was a horrified one.

"Don't look at me like that, sweetheart. I'm not going to judge. I will admit its just down right weird but I can see you two have an unbreakable bond and I wish both of you luck."

The woman gently put her arms around the president with a sincere smile, "Thank you for being so nice about us!"

"You're welcome, sweetheart."

Trisha pulled away and nodded before she left the room with Cochise.
