Author's Note: Am I so sorry I had every full intent on updating Last Thursday night because Reviews came in so quickly. But then I found out I had an job interview so I was getting that stuff ready. Then Friday I went and basically got the job, just waiting for my employee number and then the Supervisor telling me where they want to send me. But then, same day, my mom went missing for about 4-5 hours. Nobody could find her and she wasn't answering the phone. Then I remembered my mom had an Iphone and I knew her Icloud information so I logged in and found out that she was in the ER. And then shit went down, I didn't leave the ER until 1:30 in the morning, when I got there about 6-7 in the afternoon. And, well I have babysat my mother since then. P.S This chapter is unedited, and remember 5 reviews. Please.

Chapter 9- Birthday

(Dimitri Point of View)

It has been two weeks since I had that talk about Rose with Tasha, and I haven't been able to get it out of my mind. I've tried to bring it up around Rose, but almost every time nothing came out of my mouth. The other things, I would go off the path of what my question was. I thought I would begin with who was Zak's father, and slowly work my way into more detail. Like I was just a friend who wanted to know. Not just some guy that works for her and wanted to be nosy. I was probably still on that line to be friends or strictly co-workers.

Right now, everyone was in the club for Zak's birthday party. It was now, mid-April and things have been warming up. But Texas apparently decided it would be a really cold day today, so we moved the party to Guardians. Christian, Lissa, Mia, Mason, Jill, Eddie, Ivan, Adrian, Sydney, their two kids, Mr. Mazur, Rose, and I were the people who attended the party. Basically his family, and two men who he'd gotten to know. Zak's party was Batman themed; Cake, plates, streamers, table cover, even most of his gifts had Batman gift wrap. We all knew Rose could barely afford something huge, but we all chipped in about 50 dollars to get the little guy an indoor water slide for now. The floors were covered in water foot prints from him running back and forth to slide down on his stomach to the end. Some of the adults were doing it, but Zak seemed to have the most fun. And of course he would, it's his sixth birthday.

Hours passed, before Zak got to open his presents. One of them consisted of a sign that hung on his door that said Come in the Bat cave is open, if Zak was in his room, or Sorry, but the Bat cave is closed, if Zak wasn't. He went ballistic over it, and hugged Christian who was probably the one who had gotten it for him. The last present was from Mr. Mazur, who actually handed it to his mother, Rose. It was a small envelope, I couldn't read what the front said, but Rose looked shocked up to her father as she reached in and grabbed the few papers inside.

"It's reservations to Jellystone Park…" Rose began, skimming through the papers. "4 Cabins reserved for all next week." Mr. Mazur nods when Rose looked up at him.

"Everyone in this room is going. Guardians will be closed for some improvements and I know you guys could use a break." We all nod and he smiles.

"I've also selected which people would be sharing a cabin, up to nine people can sleep in each, but no more than 4 will share. Christian, Lissa, Dimitri, and Ivan will share one. Jill, Mason, Eddie, and Mia another. Adrian and Sydney will your kids, and then Rose, Zak, and I in another." He passed out directions how to get there and the time we had to sign in and things we could rent and we were able to do.

"You can talk amongst yourself about who's sleeping where and think about what you want to do there are things around this area we could do or by yourselves." He paused. "If I remember correctly there is one queen size bed, a bunk bed, and two mattress in the loft. The buildings are small, from what I've heard but it'll do for a week." He shrugged, almost unlike him. From there everyone basically agreed on picking where will sleep when we see the cabin.

Soon, everyone was heading back home, since it was late at night. The reservation were for next week, but we'll leave Saturday morning because that was when we had to sign in.
