(Ok, so before you begin to read I'd like to apologize to anyone who might've been waiting patiently for this update. I've been writing this chapter here and there (it changes perspective and I'm sorry if that's confusing) but that's not why I'm apologizing. I'm apologizing for the loooong wait. For some reason it wouldn't let me update my stories... which irritated me and caused me to stop trying for a bit to long. Anyway, now you may read. I hope you enjoy!

The drive through the city and out through the subourbs was a quite one, the radio and a few comments were the only sounds made in the truck. That was ok though, because both participants felt more content than they had since Isabella had ran away. It gave them both time to process how normal that day had felt. How easily their pattern had returned. Isabella was surprised at how much trust she still held for the green haired male. Ferb felt as if it was a dream, he kept glancing over at the raven haired woman hoping she wouldnt disapear.

As they went farther from the city Isabella couldnt help but feel that she knew where they were going.

"Ferb, are we going to the house?" She asked with a small and knowing smile.

"Possibly." Her smile grew at his curt reply.

They drove a few more miles and with each mile Isabella started to reconize more and more of her surroundings. The house was an old abandoned place that felt as if it was in the middle of no where, though in truth it was less twenty miles away from the city. It was placed at the top of a big hill and surrounded by trees. A winding drive way was the clearest path to the house.

Isabella and Ferb had found it their nineth grade year by accident. They had been paired for a town wide scavenger hunt and some how had gone farther than the game was suposed to extend to. They had spent most of the day exploring the house and its surroundings after the broken drive way had caught Isabellas attention. It didnt take her much to persuade Ferb to explore with her. They had lost the hunt, but what they found was greater.

They had never told the others about the house, it was their secret. They would often go to the house together. In truth it was where the seed for their friendship had first been planted. Ferb had went from being just her crushes brother to one of her closest friends there. Isabella had learned the secret to unlocking the quite boys mind.

As they turned a corner and the hill came into view, Isabella smile. They were going to the house.

"I was right." She said with a smirk.

"You were, though the place isn't the surprise." Ferb said with a cocky tone. She looked at the green haired brit from the corner of her eye, hoping that his expression or movements would tell her the surprise. To her disapointement they didnt, and her not so subtle observing only caused his smile to broaden and her eagerness to grow. If Ferb was this excited then it had to be good. She watched the road ahead of her as the drive way began to emerge from the dense trees. A small frown appeared on her lips as she noticed something off; where the path used to be open to drive up now stood a huge silver gate. Ferb stopped his truck infront of the gate, and without an explanation got out and made his way over to the passenger door.

"Ferb, is this what you...?" She began before he placed a finger to his lips as a signal for her to be quite. He then pulled a pink bandana out of his pocket and gesture from it to her eyes.

"Ferb are you asking if you can blind fold me?" Isabella asked, taking note of how hard he was trying not to speak, his quite demenour wasnt normal when it was just the two of them. At least it hadnt been. Isabella smiled at the court nod that was his reply to her question. With a leap of her heart she leaned her head forward so that he could easily place the fabric over her eyes and tie it tightly in the middle of the back of her head.

With gentle hands Ferb pushed her back into the seat and re-buckled her then shut the door. He quickly went to the gate and entered the code that would open the gate and disarm his security system. He usually would only have to stop the truck infront of the gate and place the code into a key pad in his truck, but he had been gone for a week so that way wouldnt work. It was a safety precaution he had added himself.

Once the silver gate began to open Ferb quickly climbed back into the drivers seat and drove forward. The road was gravel, and trees surrounded the truck on both the left and right. The fairytale feeling of this ride was probably what drew both he and Isabella to climb the half mile to the top where a falling apart abandoned house had stood. That was before everything had happened though. Before Ferb began to feel as though the overgrown property was the only tie he had with Isabella.

That feeling was what possessed Ferb to buy the land. After college and before he knew what he wanted to do he had begun to make plans for the little hill. His first big investment was this plot of land, and his first big project was to build the house that was nestled at the top. It took him two years to complete with his need for perfection and the many projects around the world people would contract him to do, but the house was now finished. Now he'd get to show it to Isabella, the inspiration to all his dreams.

"Ferb, please tell me why I'm blindfolded." Isabella spoke calmly from her seat to my right.

"That would extinguish the suspince and ruin the surprise though." I said with a smile as I continued to drive. I risked a glance at her for just a moment and couldnt help but chuckle at her mock pout. She looked ridiculous pouting with a blindfold on, and yet some how she still looked beautiful.

"Fine, but if the surprise is unsatisfactory then I'm going to give you the silent treatment." She must've somehow known my eyes were still focused on her because she very quickly teasingly stuck her tongue in my general direction. I decided no reply would be best for her statement.

Though moments after her little promise the moment I'd been waiting for since the houses completion came and I couldnt continue the silence.

"Hey Bella?"

"Yes Ferb?"

"We're almost there."

"Does that mean I can take this blindfold off?"

"No, it means I'm going to park this truck then help you out. Then I'll consider taking the blindfold off of you." She let out a frustrated sigh, though her unbound hands did not reach to take off the blindfold. As quickly as I could I parked my truck in its designated spot, then as quickly as I could I helped Isabella from her seat and removed the blindfold. I held my breath as I waited for her response.

"Oh Ferb, did you build this?"
