Chapter 10 – A Boy Trapped In The Shadows

In the previous chapter, Usagi and Kirito went to the jewelry shop in which it was owns by Usagi's close friend and classmate, Naru Osaka. She was surprised that Usagi got an another boyfriend. Later, Usagi revealed to Naru that she will gonna proposed to Kirito, in order to prevent that Apsu might get him back and she buys a beautiful diamond ring. That afternoon, Usagi asked some request from her friends, in order to planned the secret proposal. Later that night, Kirito went to the Hikawa Shrine alone, in which he was surprised by Usagi's friends along with Tom and Jerry with their allies. Since that moment, Usagi finally stood before him, asking if he wanted to marry her, and he was happily agrees. The news of the marriage proposal was reached to Apsu, who was enraged and acting so coldly. She returned back to the real life (as Mikado Suto), hatching an evil plan in order to ruined the relationship of Sailor Moon (Usagi) to Kirito (Kazuto).

In the world of Sword Art Online, Silica, Agil and Klein (Kirito's closest friends and allies), were travelled in the forest, on the way to the city in which the Dark Force Palace was there, however they saw that everything were wrecked and destroyed by the armies of Apsu. The remaining SAO players , who were escaped from the war attack, running to the three.

" This is so much getting worst that I expected…" Klein said, as he watched the view on downhill

" All of the places we're invaded by the Dark Forces, there is no place was safe for every game players. " Agil stated

" Apsu was unforgivable! She had treated us like some toy objects!" the first player said in anger

" And top of that, Our powerful player Kirito was not able to returned back because that the evil boss wanted to get him again. " the second player said

" We got to do something, guys. We can't let our world fall into her evil hands. " the third player said

Silica turned to Klein, asked " What should we do now? "

" We can't entered in the city unless Kirito will be returned back from the real life world, he was our only hope in destroying her and her minions. " Klein said

" But… he was the main target by Apsu. She had held him captive in once and we had helped him to escaped from her and now we shall let him to be captured by her again. His life was at stake. " Agil said to him

" I guessed Agil got the point but I hope he was okay in the real life world.." Silica said

And they kept watching at the city, near the downhills. Meanwhile in the real life world, Kirito, now wearing the proposal wedding ring that Usagi brought, was happy that Usagi loves him so much despite he was just a game player, but suddenly a virtual message received from Kayaba, saying that the world of Sword Art Online, was about to attacked soon by Apsu's armies. Shocked of this revelation, he was started to upset that he might missed Sailor Moon so much, the one that he truly loves with. So, he asked assistance from Tom and Jerry, to asked Usagi to come immediately.

The two went to the Tsukino's house residence, to called her up. Usagi went downstairs, saw Tom and Jerry was waiting at the door.

" Oh, Tom, Jerry. Why are you guys doing here? " Usagi asked

" Actually, Kirito needs to talked with you, Usagi. " Jerry said

" Huh? But why? " Usagi asked, with curiosity

And so Usagi came along with Tom and Jerry, bringed Luna along with her, went to the park (in which the same place that Sailor Moon brought Kirito last time). When Usagi saw Kirito (weared his SAO clothes), was standing near behind the post and she approached to him.

" So… what is it, Kirito? Are you gonna tell to me something? " Usagi asked

" Usagi, I will… I will… go back to my own virtual world. " Kirito said in response

And Usagi was surprised of what he said. On the other hand, Ami and the others arrived in too, noticed the whole scene.

" What is going on in here? " Rei asked Tom and Jerry

" Kirito was going to leave, going back to the virtual world. " Tom responded

" Say what?! " the other girls shocked in surprise

" Are you leaving here already? But how? It was too risky to go back in there, Apsu might get you again. " Usagi asked

" I had no other choice, my friends needs my help. The whole Sword Art Online world was in terrible danger. I shouldn't want to leave here but…"

He hold her hand, tightly.

" I will never forget the vow that you made for me. After I recovered from my comatose in the real life world, then we gonna get married together. I know that it was hard for to separate each other but still… I will never changed my love for you even that Mikado forced me… nothing else… "

" I vowed to you that I will returned you back to the real life world, I promise. No matter how Apsu treated you so badly, just called me out if you need some help, okay? "

" Okay, I will. I love you with all my heart, my beloved Sailor Moon… I mean… the one and only Usagi Tsukino."

" I will love you always… forever… Kirito… I mean… Kazuto Kirigaya."

Then, the two shared their first farewell kiss. Everyone were act so romantic towards them.

" It was so touching… " Makoto said

" Yeah… " Minako said, as she about to get cried

" Those two are meant to be together… always.. " Ami said

" You say so, Usagi was already a grown mature young adult lady. " Luna stated

After the two kissed each other, Kirito turned away from Usagi. The portal was opened.

" Goodbye… I will missed you." Kirito said, in a whispered voice

" Goodbye, I will missed you a lot. " Usagi said

Then he entered in the portal, going back to the virtual world, saying farewell to Usagi's friends, Tom and Jerry.

" Come back here again, okay?! " Chibiusa yelled

" I will! " Kirito said

" Be careful, Kirito. " Jerry told him

" I will be " Kirito responded

And the portal closed. Usagi, was still standing behind, silently, was looked up at the skies. Her tears falled down from her eyes. Ami and the others approached to her.

" I guessed you missed him so much. " Makoto said

" Don't worry, he will be back someday, I'm so sure of it. " Rei said to her, cheered her up

" Thanks, guys. " Usagi said, with a smiling expression, keep watching at the skies

" So… what's now? " Minako asked her

" I need to find a way on how to bring Kazuto Kirigaya back to real life world from his comatose. " Usagi said in response

" But how? " Chibiusa asked

" By entering in the Sword Art Online game, defeat Apsu and her minions. That's the only option to bring him his real life self back to life. " Usagi said, with determination

" Are you sure about that? It was too risky to entered there. You need an item that it was capable of entering the game. You didn't know the main rules of the game." Rei said

" Just let her be, guys. " Luna told Rei

" But… " Rei uttered, tried to say something

Tom and Jerry approached to them

" Luna was right, just let Usagi be. She was determining herself in rescuing Kirito from comatose. Besides, she was the Sailor Guardian of Love and Justice. " Tom stated

" She is the lady without to be fear of. " Jerry said

" Okay, if you say so but don't do any reckless things in playing the game. It was not very easy to finished it." Rei told her

" I won't do anything reckless, Rei. I swear. " Usagi said

" That's our Princess, never gives up on anything. " Artemis said

" I had agree too, daddy. " Diana said to him

" But first, tomorrow… I need to visit to hospital, to check on his condition. " Usagi said to them

" If you say so, just go ahead and see your future game husband. " Minako said, in embarrassment, with loud burst of laughter

" Minako! You make me embarrassed me! " Usagi protested

And everyone laughed at her reaction. The next day, the Sailor Guardians are battling the monster beast at the city.

" Burning Mandala! " Sailor Mars yelled

" Sparkling Wide Pressure! " Sailor Jupiter yelled

Their attacks fired at the monster beast, was started to immobilized.

" You're up, Super Sailor Moon! " Sailor Mercury told her

" Got it! " Super Sailor Moon said in respond

She raised her Moon Heart Spiral Rod, shouted her finishing move " Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!" and it was fired at the monster beast and it was turned into dusts.

After that, the people approached to them, asked for some autographs. After a long minutes of signing autographs, they are went back to the Hikawa Shrine, to take a break.

" Our plan was a success. " Sailor Jupiter said

" Because of your greatest teamwork and determination, you had easily defeated the monster. " Luna stated

" After all, it was all thanks to Sailor Moon's hardwork, isn't that right? " Sailor Venus asked, turned back

But they noticed that Sailor Moon was not with them.

" Hold on… where's she? " Sailor Venus wondered

" I guessed she was going to visit to her future game husband at the hospital. " Sailor Mercury said

" Usagi was quite so well-mannered when it's comes to love manners. " Artemis said

" Yeah… " Diana uttered, with a sigh breathed, slowly

" I guessed we should let her to pay him a visit and besides that those two are about to get married in the future. " Sailor Mars said

" You say so, after all, she was our leader and a friend. " Sailor Mercury said with a smile

Meanwhile, Usagi visit to the hospital in which Kazuto Kirigaya (the real life persona of Kirito).

" Where is the room of the patient named Kazuto Kirigaya? " Usagi asked

" At the room 23 at the second floor, Miss. " the clerk in charge responded

And so, Usagi went to the second floor.

" Room 23…. Where is it? " as she kept on looking around

A second later, she found the room number 23 on the top.

" Found it! " she said

She opened the door. When she entered in, His adopted relative Midori Kirigaya was surprised when she saw her for the very first time.

" Are you Kazuto's friend? "

" Yes, I am. My name is Usagi Tsukino. Nice to meet you, Miss Kirigaya. "

The two both shaked their hands. That moment, she saw Kazuto for the very first time in persona.

" He was exactly looked like Kirito… his face so white and his hands were so touching." she thought on her mind, recalled that Kirito mentioned his real life name to her two days ago

Then she turned to Midori, asked her " How was long he was been in comatose? "

" It was almost two years ago since he was trapped in the game by his arranged fiancée. "

" his fiancée? "

" Yes, Her name was Mikado Suto, the rich daughter of the manager of a well known company in the whole Japan. Her father was the close friend of his adopted grandfather. Since at the age of 11, his grandfather had arranged marriage with her, in order to gained high status and inheritance before he dies. When he dies a year ago, Mikado was started to treated Kazuto so badly, demanded that if he had refused to marry her, she had abused him so cruelly. I never thought that it would happened just like that until she trapped him in the game called Sword Art Online. " Midori stated

That moment, Usagi recalled of what Kirito tell to her about his story that Mikado had maltreated him so badly from the past.

" Just like Apsu did to him at the game… don't think that…. Apsu and that Mikado are in one persona…? I need to find out more informations about her so that I need to bring him back to life. " Usagi thought

" Oh, I'm so sorry for telling you about that, Miss Tsukino. " Midori apologize

" It was okay but I need to leave me for a moment. "

" Oh, okay then. "

And Midori leaves the ward room. When Usagi was alone, looked at the comatose Kazuto. She sat and she hold his hand, tightly.

" Kazuto…. I had promised you that I will returned you back to life, I swear. "

That moment, she saw the engagement ring that it was weared on his finger and Usagi was surprised that it was the same ring that she had proposed to Kirito two days ago.

" He's weared the same ring that I gave to him? But how he has it? Don't think that he manipulated this with his virtual self? "

On the other hand, Kirito had finally returned back on Sword Art Online. Apsu, was watching him on the crystal ball, smiled in evil grin, hatching an evil plan.

Now that Usagi had finally met Kirito's real life persona, Kazuto Kirigaya, she had the determination to get him back to real life but she was surprised due to the same ring that he wears on his finger (the same engagement ring that she used to proposed to Kirito), Usagi thought that he had manipulated with his virtual self. What will be her next move? Will she able to entered in Sword Art Online, the world in which Kirito was belonged at.

Kirito, on the other hand, had returned back to SAO world however Apsu had set an evil plan to win him back to her again, in order to forget of his relationship with Sailor Moon (Usagi). What will it could be? Will Usagi can able to discovered her real self and her true ultimate plan?
