Red had been unconscious for several days, but Misty had never left his side. She lay in the bed next to him, holding him close to her body. She didn't even leave to get herself food; Yellow was nice enough to bring some up to her. He was acting awfully strange lately. It was almost as if he accepted her as part of his family or something. Well, whatever it was Misty couldn't concentrate on it. The only thing that mattered was Red. If he didn't wake up soon there was no telling what she would do. The room was even more silent now than it had ever been.
Suddenly, Red began to stir. His eyes slowly cracked open, and a sense of relief flooded Misty. A smile played upon Red's face as his eyes met Misty's.
"How long have you been sitting there?" He asked in a raspy voice. Wow, his voice had never sounded so sexy before.
"For a while," she replied as tears formed in her eyes. With his index finger, Red reached up and wiped them away. Misty dove for Red's lips, locking their tongues in a fierce battle. It had caught Red by surprise, but he wasn't going to complain. Misty positioned herself on top of her lover while he began to take off her shirt. They had been so caught up in each other that they hadn't noticed Yellow standing in the doorway. He cleared his throat, and Misty immediately rolled off Red and onto the floor.
"What they hell do you want?" Red snapped.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt…whatever was about happen here, but we've got strangers in the house. Now, I'm not one to talk because I love anything and everything kinky, but this isn't time for this. We need to get downstairs because they have something important to tell us. So get dressed. Or come down naked. I don't mind," he gave a sly smile and walked out of the room. Misty and Red shared a laugh before getting dressed and following Yellow.
"So, who the hell are you guys?" Red asked as he flopped on the couch. The blonde female that been at Mt. Moon with her two lackeys crossed her arms and leaned forward.
"Excuse me. We were the ones that saved you're friend from getting his ass killed. Oh, you're welcome," she replied irritated.
"Hey, watch who you're talking to," Red countered as he jumped to his feet. Immediately, the blonde man was in front of Red, just inches away from his face.
"You better watch who you're talking to," he growled.
"Goldenrod, we're not here to fight," the blonde said as she pulled on his shoulder. Misty grabbed Red around the waist and pulled him back as well. "My name is Krystal, and these two are part of my pack: Maroon and Goldenrod. We're here to give horrible news. There is a bad man-a very bad man- named Lilac. He is bound to the spirit of Mewtwo, and he is seeking to destroy the world."
Everyone was taken aback. Some of them gasped; some looked confused; others looked pissed off. "Destroy the world?" Blue reiterated. Krystal nodded her head.
"But in order for him to gain enough power to do that, he is looking for certain items that will unleash other people like us that have abilities almost matched to Lilac's."
Blue cocked his brow. "Like us? People that are bound to Pokémon spirits?"
"Not just any Pokémon spirits," Krystal replied. "Other legendaries. I don't know where these items are located exactly, but I have a good idea. I know this is kind of sudden, and it may be asking too much, but we need your help. Please," Krystal took a knee and bowed her head. Wow. She seriously needed their help. Blue glanced over his shoulder at his comrades. Red and Misty gave a stern nod; an amused smile played upon Yellow's lips; and the look in Green's eyes said that he was determined to help. Blue nodded, and then turned back to Krystal.
"Of course we will help."
Krystal jumped to her feet and dusted off her knees. "Great! The first two items are somewhere in the Johto region- where we came from. We need to leave as soon as possible; we cannot allow Lilac to gain possession of any of the items."
Blue nodded and turned to his team. Immediately, every dispersed to their room in order to begin packing what they needed for this trip. Red picked Misty up on his shoulders and carried her to their room.
"Wow, an adventure! I can't wait!"
"Who's gonna stay and watch over the house for us?" Red asked. Misty fell silent, no doubt thinking about a solution to their small problem. Finally, her face lit up and she snapped her fingers. God was she adorable.
"I can have my sister watch it for us. They're in town and I'm sure have nothing better to do."
Red smiled as he gently sat her on the bed and bent down to give her a kiss. "Sounds good," he replied as he pulled a bag from underneath his bed and started throwing clothes and weapons in it. Misty crawled to the other side of the bed and produced another bag from underneath the bed.
"Mind if I use this one?" She asked. Red shook his head, and she began to pack the few clothes that she had there. Whenever they embarked on this adventure, Red would make it a point to stop and buy her the most luxurious clothes he could find. Until then, however, she would have to deal with what she had. They finished packing everything they needed and met everyone else back downstairs. Blue asked if everyone was ready, and when everyone answered yes, he turned back to Krystal.
"After you," he replied with a soft smile. Krystal blushed as she opened the door and walked out into the bright moonlight. Everyone followed suit, but it was Misty who stood behind for a second. She stared at the enormous house. Only a week had passed since she first stepped foot in the house, but she had grown attached to it. Not just the house either. To everyone that lived in it. She felt a bond with every single one of Red's friends. She was family, and she knew that no matter what happened in the future nothing would break the bonds that she had created with Blue, Yellow, and even Green. A tear fell from her cheek.
"Are you okay?" Red had waited for her. She turned to face him, tears gathering at her eyes.
"Yes," she replied with a smile. "I've never been better."
