So this chapter involves a Quidditch match and a drunken Elsa so Enjoy :D
Chapter 10
Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw
Elsa, Clove, and I stood in the music hall about to practice a new song I wrote called Golden it was about the three of us and our crazy life within this prophecy
I started the song with this really cool guitar thing and then the others joined in
Time to rise and shine
We rain here
Our hearts spun up pure gold

I smiled and laughed at my friends as we got ready for the chorus

Elsa and I stopped playing for this part and Clove played a thumping beat on her drums

Elsa and I started playing again and Clove played about every drum and cymbal on her drum set as the song picked up again

We have had fun a band practices before but never this much fun
We all laughed before we heard clapping
Scorpius and Albus showed up out of nowhere: The invisibility cloak
"Albus, the invisibility cloak? Really?" I said
"Al has an invisibility cloak?" Clove asked, Elsa and I looked at her "I am always the last person to know things aren't I?"
"Well you are the newest of the group you're not gonna know everything all at once" I said
Clove mocked me in an annoyed voice
"I like the new song" Al said changing the subject
"Yeah it's pretty awesome" Scorpius said
"Why thank you" I did this goofy little bow
Causing my friends to laugh
"Yo Rosie you ready for the Quidditch match later?" Al asked
"Yeah aren't you playing against Ravenclaw?" Clove said
"Yeah, I'm pretty excited" I said
"How come no one asked about me I'm on the Quidditch team too" Elsa complained
"Well no offense Elise," Clove started "But a Keeper is not as cool as a Chaser who happens to be the youngest team Captain in Hogwarts history"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah" Elsa said
"Hey El we're gonna dominate out there today" I said
"Oh you know it" she said sliding her fingers across her keyboard
After my practice time with my friends, I began walking around the court yard and I spotted my parents
"Well Rose you've been holding off on telling them for this long, you might as well tell them now" I said to myself before walking over to my parents
"Rose it great to see you" My mum said hugging me
"I have something to tell you guys but you-" I said looking at my dad mostly "have to promise not to get mad"
My parents looked at each other before nodding
I took a deep breath before saying in one single sentence "I-am-dating-Scorpius-I-wanted-to-tell-you-sooner-but-I-was-afraid-you'd-get-mad-Please-don't-disown-me"
My dad's mouth hung open and my mum (for the first time ever) had no idea what to say
"Rose Nimphadora Weasley-" my dad started angrily
"You promised you wouldn't get mad" I interrupted
My dad opened his mouth again but my mum stopped him
"Ronald" she said sternly "We did promise, and I am proud of our daughter for having the courage to tell us this"
"But he's a Malfoy" my dad argued only to get glared at by my mum
"She has every right to choose who she dates" she said "Besides you have met Scorpius and he is not a bad kid"
"But-" he started again
"Ronald" my mother repeated
"Fine" my dad finally gave in
"Good" my mum said "Now Rosie you better get ready for your Quidditch match"
"Thanks" I whispered to my mum "I see you guys later"
I ran off with a huge smile on my face
"Well aren't you happy Rosie" Scorpius said falling in beside me
"Well my parents excepting that I'm dating a Malfoy is kind of a big deal to me" I said "Don't know if it is to you or not"
"You're kidding right?" He said a smile growing on his face
"Well my dad was kind of mad but my mum kind of scared him into shutting up so-"
"I'll take it" he said picking me up and spinning me around with the goofiest grin I have ever seen
I laughed before he put me back on my feet
"And that's all that matters" I said planting a kiss on his lips
"I should agree with you more often" he said with a smile
"Oh shut up" I said giving him a small shove
"Hey your Quidditch match is about to start" he said
"I got to go" I said kissing his cheek before I started to run off
"Good luck Weasley" he said calling me by my last name like he use to "I'll be cheering you on from the stands"
"Thanks Malfoy" I said teasingly "I'll see you afterwards"
I dashed off and got ready along side my team for the Quidditch match
I went over the team plays before we headed out to the tunnel, waiting for them to announce us
"Ravenclaw and Gryffindor" someone announced and my team flew out of the tunnel
I flew up higher and raised my fist; a lot of the crowd began cheering 'Gryffindor! Gryffindor!'
I saw my parents sitting next to Scorpius, Al, Clove, Hugo, Lily, and Anna
We took our formation around the center of the field, Elsa was at our team's goal hoops, and Alice Longbottom (the seeker) was above us her eyes alert ready to find the snitch; the bludger and the snitch flew out of the box and the ref. went over the rules before throwing the quaffel up
The teams scrambled and I caught the quaffel and headed towards the Ravenclaw's goal hoops
"GO ROSIE!" I heard my dad yell
I dodged the bludger on more than one occasion and dodging other players before throwing the quaffel through the goal hoop, scoring 10 points for Gryffindor
My team followed the Ravenclaws to my teams goal hoop; one of their chasers were knocked off their broomstick by one of our beaters, Andrew Finnegan
"Elsa! Block 48!" I yelled out to my best friend at the goal hoops
She did as instructed: catching the quaffel and throwing it to me and I passed it to Kinsley Chase, one of the other chasers, who threw it into the Ravenclaw's goal hoop, scoring us 10 points
"And Kinsley Chase scores ten points for Gryffindor" David Carter, the commentator yelled "they are in the lead 20 to 0"
"Come on Alice!" I yelled cheering on my old friend hoping she would catch the snitch
I watched as Alice wrapped her hand around the snitch
"GRYFFINDOR WINS!" David yelled over the intercom
Like I did before the game I flew to above and raised my fist sending the crowd into a frenzy
"GO, GO GRYFFINDOR!" people began to cheer
I landed with the rest of my team and we all lifted Alice on our shoulders
"Way to go Alice" I said to my friend
"Thanks Rosie" she said as the others sat her down "Nice job with the plays"
"Why thank you" I said
Alice and I have been friends since… well for as long as I can remember. Her parents have been family friends since my parents went to Hogwarts. The two of us hang out every summer now and her parents and her are like a second family to me. And all this goes also for the Finnegan family, Shemus and his wife, Andrew, and Jade. I was also pretty close with Jessica Wood, Oliver Woods daughter.
I linked arms with Alice and we walked towards our families.
The only bad thing about Alice is the fact that her dad is the Herbology teacher; not fun because he knows me to well
My Mum and Dad were currently talking to Professor Longbottom, Alice's dad, while Elsa sang off tune with Clove and Al to the song 'We are the Champions'
"We are the champions my friend and we'll keep on fighting till the end!" the three of them sang before James chimed in
"We are the champions, we are the champions!" James sang
"No time for losers cause we are the champions of the world!" All four of them sang
"Gees you guys need some singing lessons!" I called over making Alice laugh
"That was rude Rosie" Alice said continuing her laugh
"To tell you the truth they all kind of sound drunk" Scorpius said walking up to us
"Oh they do" I said as the group of four continued their song "Scorpius you know Alice"
"I do" he said "I have a few classes with her"
Alice smiled
Alice Longbottom was always considered beautiful: with her pitch black hair, dark blue eyes, and tan-ish skin, she was often sought out by most of the guys at school
"So I was thinking Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks" Scorpius said
"Just not with those four" I said "I don't think they need to sound anymore drunk"
"So the three of us then?" he asked gesturing to himself, myself, and Alice
"How about us three too?" My mum asked she gestured to herself, my dad, and Professor Longbottom
"Of course" I said
"As long as we don't bring the drunken bunch" Alice said now Hugo, Lily, and Anna had joined the four in their drunken singing
"Deal" Professor Longbottom said
So on we went to Hogsmeed and into The Three Broomsticks; I sat in the booth between Scorpius and Alice
"One of the best Quidditch plays I have seen" My dad raved "Well except for maybe the Chudley Cannons"
"Da-ad" I said annoyed "I cannot believe you are still a fan of that team"
"What? they are awesome" he said
"No they are not" the rest of the table said with me
"In your opinion" he said
We all sat talking about the match; my dad kept glancing at Scorpius and rolling his fingers on the table
"Congratulations on the match Rosie" Madam Rosmerta said passing out the Butterbeer to everyone around the table
"Thank you Madam Rosmerta" I said
"May I ask, where is Elsa, Clove, and Albus?" she asked "They usually come with you two" she gestured to Scorpius and I
"Well they are probably still sing off tune and sounding half-drunk with James, Lily, Hugo, and Anna" I said with a laugh
"Ahh I wouldn't want to bring them either" she said
After she left my dad asked about different Quidditch plays I came up with
"So block 48 you used today, what exactly did you have Elsa do?"
"She catches the Quaffel and lobs it over to me, so I can get it to one of the other chasers waiting closer the opponent's goal hoops" I explained "Which would be either Kinsley or James"
"I see" he said with a nod
"So who all is on your team?" my mum asked
"Well there is Kinsley Chase a chaser, Andrew Finnegan a beater, Alice is the seeker, Elsa the keeper, James a chaser, I myself am a chaser, and Calum Davies the other beater" I said
"Personalities?" she asked
"Kinsley is pretty nice" Alice said "Stubborn as a mule, but she's nice"
"Calum's… I don't really have a word to describe him" I said
"Eccentric?" Alice guessed
"Yeah that's the word" I said
A small silence enveloped the table
"So Scorpius are you ready for the second task?" My mum asked
"Yeah I am" he said "But I admit I am nervous"
"I expected you to be" My mum said "I remember Harry going into that task"
"Oh yeah I remember being dragged underwater" my dad said
"Same here" said my mum
We talked some afterwards before heading back to the castle
"Rose Nimphadora Weasley" Elsa said stumbling up to me, her words were slurred and they were choppy so I came out more like 'R-ose Nimpadorie Weasel'
"Hows dare you'd leave my with All?" she said. Translation: How dare you leave me with Al?
"Elsa are you drunk?" I asked
"Was may ya tink that?" she said with a weird laugh
Alice and I exchanged glances
"Elsa, where is Clove?" I asked
"She'd patch out in Slythirn common broom" she said. Translation: She passed out in the Slytherin common room
"What about Al and James?" I asked
"All and Jamie ares in Slythirn common broom altho" she said. Translation: Al and James are in the Slytherin common room also
"And Lily, Anna, and Hugo?"
"Dey lef afther match" she managed to say. Translation: They left after the match
"Alright Elsa I'm going to have Alice take you upstairs to the common room" I said slowly
"Buts I don't wanna go wit Albus" she said
"You are going with Alice" I said
"Fine" she said over dramatically
I watched Alice take Elsa down the hall as they walked Elsa walked head first into one of the pillars and bumped into Alice, who held her up and continued to walk her towards the Gryffindor common room
"Gees" I said shaking my head
"How could you understand her?" Professor Longbottom asked
"Every time we win a match Al, Elsa, and James usually end up getting drunk" I said "So I am use to Elsa's gibberish"
"Wow" My mum said
"Now I have to go get James out of the Slytherin common room before he gets in trouble" I said my dad opened his mouth "No, this is not the first time I have had to do this"
He shut his mouth
"Mind giving me a hand Scorpius?" I asked
"Yeah I'm coming" he said
"I see you to this summer" I said turning to my mum and dad "and I will see you tomorrow Professor"
Scorpius and I headed towards his common room to get my cousin James back up to our own common room
"I remember helping you do this even when we weren't friends" Scorpius said
"Oh yeah, James does this a lot" I said "And I had to have someone let me into the Slytherin common room so I could get him"
We walked into the Slytherin common room and I used the Wingardium Leviosa spell on James ushering him towards the Gryffindor common room
"Good night Weasley" Scorpius said as I left his house common room
"Night Malfoy"
