Chapter 9: Research.

After the battle against Mizuki, Naruto was very hurt. The little boy could still hear the cries of Kokoa and their other sisters. His lips were parched, his face smeared with his own blood, his knuckles too. Kokoa's tears are rolling down his cheeks; he could feel his hand was being held by one of his sisters. He was dying but he could still hear what his sisters said.

"Nii-san, please ... please ... sniff ... Don't die!". She said, holding his hand and with tears streaming downs her cheeks.

"Moka-neesan..."

"Nii-san!".

To Naruto was no turning back, it seemed that his life, his dreams, his goals and all that was important to him was over. There was no point mourn or curse his luck because he didn't regret; he had died by his sister, he had protected her all the way, as a watchdog. He was really happy and proud of all that he had lived with his family.

But, something strange happened. Naruto opened his eyes and found himself lying staring into the darkness. Around there was water and the place was big.

"Heh, heh". Laughed a hoarse voice and gloomy. "So, you finally wake up, puppy"

"Ah, Who said that?". He said, getting up and starting to walk over to where he had heard that voice.

"Come closer, puppy". Naruto came to a cage, it was huge.

"But who are you?". He asked to this giant animal in front of him.

"I'm the one who saved your life"

"You're a giant fox! And you saved my life? But this isn't the Shuzen castle or elsewhere". He looked around but, besides the cage and the water, were green walls and nothing else.

"Stupid puppy, this is your mind". He spoke with his powerful voice and his eyes shone brightly.

"Hey! I'm not a puppy or a fool". Naruto cried. "I'm a vampire of Shuzen family!"

"Hahaha, Vampire? Not even being a vampire you could do me a scratch. Also, you don't even have fangs"

"Of course I have!". Naruto opened his mouth and showed his fangs, they were very small. The fox smiled. "See?"

"...they are very small; you're just a vampire puppy"

"Wait a second. You say that I am in my mind, then, what does something like you here?"

"I myself would like to know. I've been sleeping for a long time, but there was too much noise and I woke up". Said the fox, Naruto had more doubts.

"Naruto?". Seeing him well, didn't hold back her excitement. "Nii-san!". Moka hugged him tightly. "You're alive, Nii-san!"

"Moka... you are… crushing me"

"Silly, I thought you were dead". She said with a blush on her cheeks and hugging him again.

"Moka-neesan... I thought that too!". The blonde also returned the hug. "I missed you!"

"Moka-oneesama". Said a voice behind the door. "How is my brother?"

"Kokoa, He's fine!". The door was kicked open and Kokoa, with tears, ran and jumped to hug her brother.

"I love you!". Now, Moka and Kokoa squeezed Naruto with their embrace.

"It's not fair!". Said the elder of the three, joining the hug, causing Naruto almost choking, but with a smile on his lips. He had survived death itself and the boy was happy about that. Life, or rather the fox, had smiled and for that, he was alive.

Kakashi walked into the reception of a motel with Akua and Sasuke to request a room. He waved to the receptionist, seemed they already knew each other.

"Hey Kakashi, it's been a long time". The receptionist was an old person with wrinkles but with an elegant black suit.

He put on a mask that only covered him to his nose, dark glasses are also set, and they will not be able to notice your eyes. It took a few things from the case and went out.

The man who Kakashi was following was sitting in a chair, smoking. There was another man there, also dressed in costume, and was dark and bald.

"Were you followed?"

"No, sir, why I can get out of that company?"

"Not yet. Not until I have my end of the bargain. That damn kid has not given me results"

"Kid?". Kakashi heard at the bathroom, he had opened the window easily.

"I talked to him, but...". The man was sweating and nervous, quite noticeable.

"What is the matter?". Said with some anger.

"Today I saw sir. What they do there! Do you really want that? "

"But sir, those experiments, that boy doesn't know what is doing!". Said alarmed, the white man with brown eyes and black hair. "They have already failed three times, it could be very dangerous"
