The Tide Doth Ebb and Flow
Life's tide doth ebb and flow with little gain to show,
So what will poor victim do then, poor thing?
He'll go and consult at 221B
And lay his case before The Brain, poor thing.

A/N: Based on "The North Wind Doth Blow" (16th century verse)
The North wind doth blow and we shall have snow,
And what will poor robin do then, poor thing?
He'll sit in a barn and keep himself warm
And hide his head under his wing, poor thing.
