I don't own RWBY or associated characters, Wanda Westwitch and team NGHT are my OC's.

My extended leave from FFN is finally ending as life has settled down for the foreseeable so I'm going to try to pick this back up...again, promising nothing.

For those who thought is still had original story note sorry but my computer has died since I started this story and all of my old data is permadead, at this point we will be lucky if i finish this story in a satisfying manner, I'm making it up as i go so anyone who wants to beta for me, I'm sorry but the latest posted chapter is as far as the story exists to date, i literally post as soon as I'm done writing the chapter, that said, if you find anything seriously objectionable about my grammar/structure that isn't obviously intentional let me know, I have gone back and re-released chapters with updated structure before.

P.S. Wanda is meant to be hated, so her personality/thoughts/actions will be loathsome, it's the nature of the character

Wanda grinned in that false love hateful way only she could ever master, tormenting Glynda was the most entertaining thing she had ever done, even watching rabbits and birds get caught on her electric fence paled in comparison, although there was that one time a puppy tried to get into her yard, the way it's seared flesh smelled was heavenly, still even that paled in comparison to the intense satisfaction she was getting from the idea of tormenting Glynda at work, which brings us to the current situation.

Glynda's perspective

Wanda sat across from her grinning in her false caring way, no one else could ever read Wanda's hatred for everything, but most especially her sister, however Glynda was in no mood to square off with Wanda just now, she wanted to go find Ruby, it had been hours since she asked RWBY to tell her if they saw Ruby which meant that, she had been forgotten, ignored, or Ruby had countered her, regardless Glynda wanted nothing more than to run off into the woods looking for the red wonder, she briefly wondered if she should use Ruby as an excuse to escape this hell that was her office with Wanda in it, she let out a sigh unintentionally, knowing Ruby would want her to at least try to make nice even if it was futile. Unfortunately Wanda took the sigh to mean that she was done with the paper work she had been doing, which to be honest she had been since Wanda walked in.

"So sister dearest how have things been, find a man yet, tell me about your life i want details, lots of details."Wanda said excitedly, at last having the chance to force Glynda to reveal her personal life for criticism.

Glynda sighed again...of course she shot straight for romance, "No," Glynda said sharply, "i don't have a man, nor have I ever, nor is it likely i ever will, I'm extremely busy and have no interest in complicating my life. And my life for the past seven years has nothing to do with you, nor is there anything interesting of note, i file papers and teach, not the exciting life as you will soon see."

Wanda sighed, "surely something interesting has happened, seven years is along time to go with nothing to excite you, i remember you being cheerful and open, you liked to give children cookies, what happened?"

Glynda gritted her teeth, Wanda knew damn well what happened, she had caused this, Wanda was to blame for Glynda being so closed off, Wanda had stolen every friend Glynda ever made, and shredded their friendships until Glynda couldn't even pretend to enjoy their company anymore, the only reason her friendship with Ozpin had been safe was because she had said Ozpin was just her boss. "I don't form attachments anymore, my only standing plan is to do everything in my power to make the world a better place and leave nothing behind when i go, you know what happened, you were there."

Wanda sighed, "you're no fun anymore, i didn't think you would break so easily so permanently, well fine, I'll leave you alone for now, let me know if anything interesting happens won't you, oh and if you see Ironwood again tell him hi for me." With that she wandered away, Glynda felt that that was to easy, but wasn't about to waste anymore time going to look for Ruby, she left a note to the effect of talking to a student (though in what way she left open) and left the office, first to RWBY's dorm, Ruby wasn't there obviously and there were few other places she would go on campus if she was still upset, with that thought Glynda headed once again into the forest.

It wasn't hard to find Ruby, or at least her trail, she had been busy in the forest, several trees had fallen because of her scythe, though several others were split at less convenient angles. more like she had been fighting and the tree was in the way than anything else, and based on the lack of Grimm in the area Glynda could guess how Ruby was venting her frustrations. For her part Glynda was damn close to deforestation as well, Ruby running off and not coming back within a few hours had her extremely worried and then there was Wanda's reappearance, she reminded herself that acting out would just encourage Wanda and picked a direction on the trail of destruction to check first.

Twenty minutes later Glynda stood in front of a familiar cave, the last time she had seen it was during initiation, Jaune and Pyrah had found a death stalker inside, ironically Jaune's failure to remember basic instructions had led them to complete their objective anyway, had she not heard growling and gunfire inside Glynda would have turned around to check the other direction, caves were rarely unoccupied for long in the emerald forest. Glynda remained outside until the gunfire stopped, then went inside, what she found there amazed her.

Ruby sat on the floor of the cave, Crescent Rose in pieces around her having literally been shaken to pieces over several hours of near constant use was clearly not accounted for when Ruby designed her weapon, Ruby was sitting to tired to rebuild Crescent Rose with her normal energetic speed, though her hands moved about that task seemingly of their own accord.

That was what Glynda noticed from the entrance, then she saw tears, then she smelled blood. The next moment was a blur, she ran to Ruby to try and help her, then she felt her ass meet the cave wall.

A feral growl rose from Ruby and the ears she normally hid perked up. Minutes went by without anything being said, then at last Ruby spoke, or rather Foxy did, "I don't know why i tried to help you two so much, one little fight and shes off into the woods to cry, honestly she does not understand, and neither do you." Crescent Rose no longer in pieces folded into it's carry mode. "The next time i interfere could have dire consequences, i hold the power to take her from you if you fail to care for her properly again, salves come in fragile containers.

With that she fell unconscious, Glynda suddenly realizing that Ruby was loosing blood again ran for her to try and wake her.

It was a long walk back to Beacon, filled with prayers from Glynda, she hadn't prayed in a while, she had come to view it as a sign of dependence, which Wanda liked to exploit, but just now she didn't care. Ruby wouldn't wake up although she wasn't loosing color anymore, apparently Foxy had more than just the ability to take Ruby , fortunately throughout the walk Ruby's aura had remained present, though weak, they arrived back at Beacon shortly after dark, Glynda barely had time to get Ruby situated in the infirmary before Wanda in her infinite malice wandered through.

"Oh my," she said, "you led me to believe your life was boring, yet here you are in the infirmary covered in blood, how did you manage to get so injured teaching and filing papers."

"Oh stuff it Wanda, i was in the Emerald Forest for most of the day tracking a student i needed to talk to, it's her blood, now get out before your aura causes the patients to get worse."

"Oh how uncharacteristically rude of you, why didn't you just use your runes to carry her?"

"I said get out, her injury's were to serious to risk it, now go, I'm going to finish making sure she is properly treated, and then I'm going to wash up, and then I'm going to sleep, in that order, without anything i can avoid in between." with that Glynda pushed Wanda out of the infirmary and set about hooking up all of the appropriate machinery to Ruby, Wanda wasn't outside when she left, which made Glynda realize that she had admitted a lot to Wanda, to late to backup now, she went home washed up and was asleep within an hour.

At last a chapter more than a thousand words long!

Let me know what you think, again if grammer/structure needs improvement let me know, oh and i want to know what people think of Wanda, remember shes meant to be hated.
