Gift 3 is Peace
Professor: Can I borrow 50,000 bucks?
Fi: Why?
Professor:…..
Fi:….are you planning to shoot lions out of a cannon again?
Professor:….*guiltily* NO
Fi: *shakes head* No you can't have it.
Professor: Well you're not using the money you got from the tournament!
Fi: for your information…I have very big plans for it.
Professor: Like what?
Fi: They are secret plans.
Professor: *exasperated sigh* You know what? Enjoy the chapter of stuff I don't own while I figure out what Fi is doing. *dresses like a ninja and starts acting like a very bad spy right in front of Fi*
Fi: *exasperated sigh*
…Normal POV…
Saria sat on the ground using her abilities to make her invisible. She was disappointed that Impa had come back and now had been caught…but there was nothing she could do now. Impa would have to get out of this on her own…which she could if she used her Sage powers but that would cause more problems than solve.
Saria shook her head and focused on her task. Ruto and Impa had told them that it was a feeling about when they gave Link the gifts…and that was what Saria had right now. A feeling to bring peace.
Right now Impa was explaining who she was and Link was denying that.
"BECAUSE IMPA WAS MY WIFE!" she heard Link yell before storming out of the room. Saria knew it was time. She blew on her flat palm in the direction of Link and small green orbs followed him, hitting his body and getting absorbed just as he rounded the corner out of sight. She smiled, her job was done.
…
Impa was the only one who saw the green orbs follow Link and him absorb them. She sent a silent prayer of thanks to Saria.
…
The moment the orbs entered Link he felt an overwhelming sense of peace and all of his anger disappeared.
Before he knew what he was doing he walked right back into the room.
"Link?" Susan was really surprised by how quickly Link had come back and that he was not angry.
He held up his hand, "Look, I over-reacted. I don't agree with what this Impa is saying but I was retaliating with anger and not with common sense. If you all wish her to stay and help, that is fine by me. I won't get along with her but that doesn't mean that I won't work with her in this war if you all need help."
Everyone else nodded, mostly in confusion but glad that all the yelling was done/
Link nodded once and left the room again.
People started whispering to their neighbors about his strange behavior.
Lucy just broke into a smile and said, "I think someone just gave Link a little peace."
Her siblings, Farian and Caspian all looked at her in confusement but then the rest of the Pevensies understood what she was saying. At Caspian's and Farian's further dumb-struck look they all explained. When they all understood, and after they untied Impa, that was when they got the news.
A young satyr who had been keeping a watch on the wood during the meeting, hurried in.
"My lord!" he cried, "My lord!"
Caspian raised his hands so that he would calm down, "Take a breath Leanus. (Professor: Pronounced Lawn-us) Tell us CALMLY what is the matter."
Leanus nodded, took a breath, and then launched into his explanation, "My lord. As I watched the forest I caught sight of Miraz's scouts. His soldiers have made it across the Ford of Beruna. They are not even a mile away my liege."
All color drained from Caspian's face. All he had been in charge of lately was keeping these people alive. None of them were ready to fight!
Luckily Peter was here to help him…and Peter knew just what to do.
"Then we are lucky."
Caspian turned to his new friend, his jaw almost upon the floor from shock, "L-Lucky?! In what way are we lucky?!"
Peter raised his hands to calm Caspian down, "Because that means that his soldiers aren't protecting his castle."
Impa saw immediately what he was getting at, "If we can sneak a force past his Army, we can take his castle and he would be the one at a disadvantage!"
Peter smiled at her, "Exactly."
…Zelda's POV…
I rocked the little baby back and forth in my arms. He was a cute little bugger despite his evil parents.
After offering my help, Miraz decided that I would be his son's governess. He was glad there was someone unafraid to take the job for, to him, it was just improper for the mother to have the role of the governess as well.
I smiled an evil little smile. Oh he should never have trusted his son with me…
