A/n This is the last chapter of Dream Intervention. This was quite a long time in coming and the chapter became far longer than I had originally intended which was part of the reason that it took so long to update. Anyway thanks to everyone for reading, faving, commenting, and following. Without further ado I present the final chapter of Dream Intervention.
Ren was nervous. There was no other word that could adequately describe the not so-slight tremble that was going through his body and, in addition to that, the feeling that he was going to be sick. He was clad only in his his favorite pair of boxers and was staring down at the multiple clothing items on his bed trying to decided what to put on for this occasion.
He could put on that white suit that he knew she liked, considering the dolls that she made of him often had the suit as an accessory, or he could wear one of his black ones. He decided that black wouldn't work since that was practically his normal attire. This was a special day, well night, and his clothing needed to reflect that. The white one was out too because it was far too bright and he didn't want to stand out that much this evening as it would ruin everything that he had planned. Putting aside the decision for a moment, he went to his dresser and retrieved his bottle of cologne. He gently sprayed himself with a few spritzes. He was very careful this time because the last time he had over done it and had to take his third shower of the evening. He couldn't afford to have to take another because he didn't have time and his skin was starting to prune from all the water.
Once he was done with the cologne, he went back into his closet. Nothing on the bed would suffice for this evening. At the very back of the closet he found a pair of dark jeans. They were so dark that from a distance they appeared to be slacks. They were not his usual style and that would be perfect for tonight. After he pulled on the jeans he looked around for a good shirt. Finally, he settled on a silken purple button down and tucked it into the jeans. He looked himself over in the mirror and decided that he needed to do something about his hair. Twenty minutes, and one accidentally broken comb, later he considered himself ready as he was going to be and tossed a black trench coat over his clothing as he dashed out the door. It would not be good to be late on this occasion.
Yashiro was nervous. Something was wrong with Ren, Not that the man was showing it in the way that most people did, it was just that the energy that he was picking up from Ren felt almost... unsteady in nature. Between the takes, no matter how short the break was, Ren seemed to shed his character, which in itself was unusual, in those moments that he was himself he was very distracted. For a second he would be on the verge of smiling, then with a quickness that should cause whiplash, then the man would be frowning. Then the director would call out and suddenly it would all vanish and Ren would be in character again.
Ren could sense his manager's curiosity and worry from miles away. He was glad that the older man had chosen to stay silent because even if he wanted to he wasn't sure how to explain the thoughts that were racing in his mind.
That morning Ren had awoken on the couch with Kyoko still in his arms. She still looked asleep so he gently placed his arms under her and stood. His biological morning reaction probably would have scared her to death if she had woken before he had.
What Ren hadn't, and likely would never know, was that Kyoko had been awake for about a half hour. At first she was shocked and she had blushed with such intensity that she feared spontaneous combustion might occur or at the very least the blood would never leave her face. She knew about male morning reactions, but she had never been so close during one. Though her first thought was to run away she took a steady breath and stayed still. She was getting older and Ren was the man that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She knew that eventually that would happen.
That thought in mind, she turned a bit in Ren's arms so that she was not quite situated on that area of his lap and allowed herself to rest. Biological reactions aside she was quite comfortable there. She willed herself only to be in the moment so that she would not freak out about what had happened last night. She was only half asleep when she felt him lift her into his arms. She opened her eyes and laughed gently.
"What is it?" Ren had asked unable to hold back a smile of his own.
"I was just thinking that this is very different from the first time that you picked me up,"
Now it was his turn to laugh.
When the chuckles tapered off Kyoko spoke again. "I'm sorry for last night," she whispered.
"Don't be. Everyone has nightmares and I was happy to be able to help with yours."
"I made you lose sleep and-"
"I don't care. You..." Ren trailed off as he realized something. Kyoko did not understand why he was not upset about the lost sleep. "Kyoko listen to me," Ren implored.
Kyoko looked at him. That was the first time that he had called her by name minus a honorific.
"I love you. I want to make you happy and keep you safe. I don't care if I lose sleep or the effort I have to put in to accomplish that. That's why I worry so much about you. It took me so long to admit the truth to you and I'm scared that the moment that I turn around something will happen to you. You are my happiness and to lose you in any way would devastate me."
"Ren-san..." Kyoko trailed off not knowing what to say. She had never had someone that cared for her like that and that made her want to confide her fears in him. She owed him that since it involved him as well. "I want to tell you, but I'm afraid of what you'll think of me after."
"I can't promise you that I won't react in a certain way, but what I can assure you of is that it won't change how I feel about you. I have a place I want to show you. It's a bit of a drive to get there, but we can talk the whole way. That is if you want to go with me?"
The way that Kyoko's eyes lit up Ren knew that he had made a good choice. It occurred to him that Kyoko had never been on a real date before. He swore to himself that he would make this one of the best nights of her life.
When he was at work he couldn't help thinking about the date and the things that she wanted to tell him. The flip flop of feelings in him kept up within him until he was at home hunting through all the clothing that he had in his closet.
Now he was parked and waiting for Kyoko to come out of the building, all the while trying his hardest not to fidget. He felt like a teenage boy waiting for his prom date to appear. Luckily, he had already talked to the the owners of the shop about taking Kyoko out for the night. Once again he had been suitably threatened, but in the end he had received permission to do so. Never would he admit that he had been so nervous that he had almost hyperventilated. He was still reflecting on that conversation when she got in his car.
"Ren-san," she said nervously when she looked at his face after closing the door of the car. The light was minimal, but she could see that Ren was completely frozen and she was suddenly scared of a repeat of what had happened on the Dark Moon set. She reached out tentatively and touched his arm.
Ren's head shot up the instant that she made contact and he blushed. "You look amazing," he said shyly. That was an understatement though, because she looked far better than amazing. There was no words to convey just how beautiful she was. Her hair had been combed into a look reminiscent of Natsu, but she had a purple beret bow clipped into the side of the hair. She had on a light dusting of make-up and around her neck hung Princess Rosa. She wore a simple black dress with a purple sash and the black shoes that she had gotten as a birthday gift.
All in all he was so happy that he had confessed because he had to tell her right then how he felt and it was nice to know that she would not freak out at the verbalization of his affection. "I love you," He said.
She blushed at the suddenness of the declaration. "I ,,, l- love you too," she said unable to stop her stutter. But judging from the ecstatic look on Ren's face he didn't care about that. "How often will you say that to me?" she asked quietly.
Ren's answer was instant. "Until I can't speak anymore, then I will write it, if I lose that ability I will learn sign language, and if all else fails I'll say it with a look."
She could say nothing to that. All she could do was be extremely happy that he cared for her in that manner. All of a sudden revealing what her nightmare had been about didn't seem like it would be hard. After they had driven for about twenty minutes she had gathered her thoughts as best she could. "You...wanted to know about my nightmare right?" she asked.
"Only what you want to tell me," Ren said honestly. "If it hurts too much for you to speak about it, you don't have to."
She smiled at his concern and allowed that to give her to courage to speak."It... It started at that set. Do you remember before father and J- mom... came to the set?"
Ren nodded keeping his eyes on the road. He was smiling from her stumble on mom's name though. He would be sure to tell his mother and father of that later just to see their faces.
"I saw that child actor with you and I started wondering if you would ever want children some day." Kyoko said. She looked at her lap, swallowed hard and forced herself to continue. "Even then, at the set that day, I was scared because I wondered if I could be the one to do that for you. I guess that was what caused the nightmare." When Ren didn't say anything, Kyoko took a breath before saying what she had dreamed. "In the dream I was little again and my mother was glaring at me. I was used to that dream, but then it changed. It changed and it was me that was being horrible to an innocent little child."
Luckily they were at their destination, so Ren didn't have to pull over. As soon as they were parked he got out of the car. For a moment Kyoko was scared that she had angered him. Then as quickly as she had thought that, her door was opened and she was pulled into Ren's arms. Her body was held completely against his in an embrace that was almost painful.
Then after a moment Ren pulled back and lifted her face so that she was looking at him. "I do want kids some day. If I have any at all you will be the mother of them. You are an excellent person and a wonderful woman. Anyone that has said otherwise was a complete moron. You will be a wonderful mother because you are so worried about it. Look at how you are with Maria. Any child would be lucky to have you for a mother." There was so much that could be added to that about how the real worry would be what kind of father he could be to a child, and what would stop their child or children from his own fate, but that was not something that needed to be voiced at this time so he simply pulled her back into a tight embrace.
After he let go of her, he allowed himself a smile as he found the words to lighten the somber mood that had come over the two of them. "Anyway you're are worried about the wrong things."
"Eh?"
"Well the people that would be around said hypothetical child would be more worrisome than the actual child. A love obsessed idiot, a grandfather that is more of a child than most children ever are, in addition to ..."
By then Kyoko was already laughing at the images that had appeared in her head.
Ren had to chuckle as well. He was delighted and relieved that he had made her smile again. She was most beautiful when she was smiling.
"It's going to be a nightmare isn't it?" Kyoko asked still smiling.
"What will be?" Ren asked curiously.
"Spending my life with you," came the reply from the blushing woman before Ren. "Unless that..."
Before Kyoko could doubt for a minute that he wanted this to be forever just as much as she did, Ren spoke."Definitely," Ren replied with an answering smile of his own. "It's going to be an absolute nightmare, but it's worth it isn't it?"
"Yes," She answered.
With a move straight out of an earlier century, Ren offered his arm to Kyoko. Kyoko delicately took the offered arm and allowed Ren to lead her.
The next few months passed quickly. There were, of course, adjustments that had to be made so that Kyoko and Ren could keep their personal lives somewhat private, but the small inconveniences that those adjustments caused were well worth it. The two of them were so caught up in one another that they even, temporarily, forgot about a certain nuisance. The nuisance reminded Kyoko of his presence far sooner than she wished.
About a month after she and Ren had gone out on their first official date, it started. Little notes saying that she still belonged to him. These notes were always unsigned, but she knew who they were from despite the missing signature. At first, she hid what was happening from Ren, not wanting to trouble him with something inconsequential. She also didn't want him to feel as though he had to do something to protect her.
It escalated after a few months. She would feel eyes on her when she was in school or sometimes on a set. When she would look around there would be no one that appeared to be suspicious. At first she simply thought she was being paranoid so she didn't tell anyone. Since their last 'meeting' Sho hadn't approached her once. Apparently he was on several tours during most of that time and that reinforced the idea that she was simply being paranoid because there was nobody else that would follow her like that.
Then it happened.
Kyoko and Ren had been together for almost a year and they were ready to go public as it were. Kyoko had long since graduated from the LoveMe section and it was getting hard to keep the relationship a secret from the public. She was in the dressing room on the set of her latest role and she saw them. All of the Ren dolls that she had in her bag had been laid out and ripped apart. On top of the pile of shredded Rens was a single Sho doll and a note.
She sucked back a scream and cautiously approached the mess. The note was very short; it contained only a few lines. 'You've wasted enough time with that second rate actor. You are mine and it is time that you remember that.'
Kyoko was equal parts scared and angry. She was scared of just how far Sho could and would go just to force her to go back to him. She was angry that he had the nerve to think that she was his property. She was not the property of anyone and Ren was no second rate actor. Kyoko sighed knowing that she was going to have to tell Ren about everything that had happened now that Sho had taken things this far. She knew that he would be so angry and she was sure that it was going to be hard to stop him from reacting in a way that would make BJ have seemed like a fairy prince.
A knock on the door startled her, but was only a stage hand saying that she would be needed on set soon. Quickly, she scooped the ruined dolls into a bag and hid them. She would tell Ren when they finished today's shoot since there was no need to upset him while they were working.
She walked out to the set. "Hi Takashi-kun," she greeted the young actor.
"Kyouko-san," The child called to her with a smile. Takashi was the seven year old boy playing one of the lead roles in the movie Kyoko was in. He was really small for his age so it was easy to pass him off a five-year-old. Due to the restriction on the number of hours the young boy could work he and his manager had just arrived for the day.
"Alright everyone; lets shoot this," the director called.
The stage lights dimmed and Takashi got into the bed on the set.
"Action!"
Ren walked onto the stage. He was playing the father to Takashi's character.
"Kai what are you still doing awake?"
"I was waiting for you," the young boy replied sleepily.
"You shouldn't do that. Anyway get some sleep you have school in the morning."
"Yes Father," Kaito replied sadly.
The door on the set was pulled closed and then a spotlight shone and Kyoko walked into it.
"Hello Kaito-kun," she said softly.
"Hello Fairy-san," the boy whispered to her getting out of the bed and walking over to her. This way he could talk to her even more quietly, the last thing he needed was for his father to come back and see that he was still awake.
"What's wrong K-kun?" the fairy asked gently when she saw the tears in the boy's eyes.
"Daddy doesn't love me anymore," Kaito confessed.
"Oh honey, that's not true at all," the fairy said.
"Then why is he always so mean now?" Kaito asked.
"Well when your mom left it made him sad."
"I'm sad about it too." Kaito said not understanding what the fairy was trying to say to him.
She lifted the child and walked over to his toy chest. On top was a well-loved stuffed lion. "This is your favorite toy right?"
Kaito nodded.
"So imagine he left one day. You felt so sad that you stopped playing with all of your toys so just in case they left too it wouldn't hurt as much as losing Leo."
"So since Mommy left Daddy, he wants to be alone so he can't be hurt some more?"
The fairy nodded sadly.
"But that's sad too cause I know I would be lonely without my toys."
"Your dad is mean because he is lonely. He thinks that he has lost everyone."
"But he has me," the child pointed out.
"He doesn't see that."
The child smiled. "Please Fairy-san help me help my daddy,"
"Cut!"
"Good job Takashi-kun," Kyoko said giving his hair a gentle ruffle.
"Thank you," the boy said with a slight blush at the praise.
The next hours were spent running about to different locations to shoot several scenes. By the time the work was over it was past ten. Kyoko had actually forgotten about what had happened until she went and collected her things.
"Ren-san," she said softly after they had been driving for a few minutes. Ren was taking her back to the restaurant tonight. Despite the fact that she had saved enough money, the owners had asked for her to stay. They had come to view her as the daughter that they had never had and both wished for her to stay as long as possible.
"Yes?" Ren replied seriously. He knew that soft tone well by now and so he knew that he it was very likely that he would not be pleased with whatever it was that Kyoko was about to say.
"I won't ask you not to be mad, but please stay calm alright?"
Ren gave a stiff nod.
Kyoko sighed. "You might want to pull over. The last thing we need is a car accident because of this."
Ren quickly did as she suggested.
"For a while I have been getting notes from Shotaro and feeling like there was someone that was watching me." Looking at the death god that had apparently replaced her boyfriend she continued to speak. "It wasn't bad or anything so I didn't tell you because I knew how you would react." the death god disappeared, but she could tell that it could easily come back.
"Then when I went to my dressing room today my dolls of you were shredded and there was one of Sho sitting atop the mess. There was also this note." she said handing it over to Ren.
The death god had returned.
"I still don't want you to do anything that would wreck your image because of that moron. I didn't tell you because I knew that you would react badly, and I only told you now because of how far Sho has gone. " When the death god failed to vanish she knew it was time to implement plan B.
"I love you Ren." Kyoko said.
The death god didn't stand a chance.
Ren gave her a reluctant smile. First name and a declaration of love was his ultimate weakness and they both knew it. "We have to do something about this soon," Ren relented unable to stop the faint growl in his voice.
"I know," Kyoko agreed.
A few days later they were still discussing what they were going to do about Sho as they made their way to the set of the interview set. Dark Moon had done extremely well and there were now plans for a second season because of the fan response to the show. Both Ren and Kyoko, having played major roles in the series, would be in the interview, as well as Director Ogata and Momose Itsumi. As luck would have it, the host of the show, Tatsumi Hariko, was a well-known and well-liked television host so there was no need to be apprehensive about doing the interview.
"Hello everyone. I am your host Tatsumi Hariko and this is TTM. Today we are doing a special on the second season of Dark Moon. I don't think I need to introduce my guests for this evening, however, I want to anyway. First we have Tsuruga Ren, the actor that portrayed Katsuki. Next to him is Mogami Kyoko, the actress that portrayed Mio. On my left we have Momose Istumi, who played Mizuki, and finally the director of the series, Ogata Hiroaki."
There was a round of applause from the audience.
Ren sat on the couch, letting the words of the host wash over him. As epiphanies are wont to do, one came to him in a less than ideal moment. For the past few days he was trying to decide just why he was so ready to murder Fuwa when he had found out about what the singer was doing to Kyoko. Of course, the fact that Fuwa was still claiming that he owned Kyoko was plenty irksome, but that wasn't the end of it. His rage partly came from jealousy. Fuwa had a part in Kyoko's life that he even as Corn did not. It didn't help matters that not many people knew of the change that had occurred in the relationship between Kyoko and himself. In public she always called him Tsuruga-san and they kissed only when they were truly in private. Ren realized in that moment that what he really wanted, his true desire, was to hold her hand in public. To say that he had willingly given his heart to her and that for some reason despite his numerous faults she had given hers to him.
Luckily, all that he had missed during his space out was a description of the basic outline for the next season of Dark Moon. At least that was what it seemed like judging from the few words that he caught as he came out of his daze.
"What was the hardest part of filming Dark Moon?" came the next inquiry from the host.
"Well for me it was acting alongside such great people. It forced me to push myself to the limit," Kyoko said.
"Making a world for the characters to exist in was quite challenging." Ogata said after Kyoko had finished answering the question.
When the host turned her eyes to him he considered for a moment what he should answer. He decided to play it safe. "For me it had to be acting a role that had been played previously by such a famous actor."
"Doing scenes with Mio was the hardest part for me," Momose answered. That startled nearly everyone.
"Why is that?" the host asked.
"Well because Mio was downright terrifying and if we had small breaks Kyouko-san didn't break character."
Hariko nodded her understanding as she too had found Mio to be a very scary individual. Suddenly she turned to Kyoko. "Would you mind giving us a live performance of Mio?"
Before Kyoko could respond there was a loud cheer from the audience. Apparently they also wanted to see Mio in action. Kyoko blushed. "Well how can I say no now?" She asked. "Perhaps Momose-san and Tsuruga-san can help me create a scenario."
After a short break, Kyoko and Itsumi were in character and had the small portable microphones attached to their clothing. They had no costumes to change into so they were going to have to make do with the clothing that they were wearing.
Mizuki was sitting in a chair at a table that had been placed on stage. She was writing something on a sheet of paper and now that the break was over Kyoko was given the cue to approach.
The scene was going to be complete improvisation. The only parameters that had been set was that the relationship between the characters would be as it was in the start of the series rather than at the end to avoid spoiling anything for anyone who hadn't finished the show. Simply put, Mizuki was in love with Katsuki, Katsuki was trying to deny how he felt for Mizuki, and Mio simply detested them both. There was also a time limit. The skit was to last ten minutes or less.
Mio walked into the room spotting her prey. It always broke the monotony of day when Mizuki was around. Leveling a glare at the cheery girl, Mio smacked the table hard to get her attention.
Mizuki was startled at the sudden appearance of her cousin jumped up nearly tripping over her seat in the process.
Mio stalked her until she had her backed up against a wall.
"Mio-sama what are you doing home so early?" Mizuki asked trying to sound calm. She came to do her homework in this small lounge because she knew that it wasn't often frequented by the members of the family because it was the room that was allotted to Katsuki when he came to the estate and required a work space. The purely predatory look on Mio's face said that she had noticed the fear and she clearly enjoyed it.
"Am I not allowed to seek out my favorite cousin?" Mio asked with a dark grin upon her face. The look was horrifying and sent chills through the audience.
This was when Katsuki walked in.
"Tachibana-sensei!" Mizuki called brightly. She was happy for the excuse to escape the hold of her cousin.
"Ah, Hongo-san, hello," the teacher greeted his student. The words were stiff, however, as though he really had not wanted to run into her. He made to step away when he stumbled and would have fallen had Mizuki not steadied him.
"Are you alright Sensei?"
"Oh yes. Thank you for the assistance just now. I must be more worn from my cold than I had realized."
"Isn't this a lovely little moment?" Came the voice of Mio. "What would my dear sister think were she to see such a scene?" She questioned. Her tone was one infused with hatred and, although, the words themselves were a veiled threat the way she looked as she said the words made them sound much more severe.
"Hongo Mio-san, I didn't see you there," he looked at her with forced pleasantness. Then as he glanced at her face he noticed something. "The scar," he whispered in confusion.
Everyone thought that the comment would provoke Mio's rage, but they were all very surprised when a look of complete devastation came over her features. Tears suddenly filled those golden eyes completing the agony that was being expressed.
The shock forced Ren out of his character. It literally was killing him to see such an expression on the woman that he loved. He was about to forget the whole skit and just go to her when she turned a glare infused with raw hatred his way. That allowed him to slip back into Katsuki.
Mio stepped toward the other two with a look that held pure murderous intent.
Katsuki pulled Mizuki behind him as Mio approached. Mio raised her hand and he closed his eyes involuntarily in anticipation. In the absence of pain, Katsuki opened his eyes to find that Mio had vanished. He let out a sigh of relief, at the avoided confrontation, and allowed a frightened Mizuki to cling to him for a moment. Then he gently pushed her away, grabbed the document that he had come to retrieve and exited.
There was complete silence in the studio. Then slowly the clapping began and turned into a thunderous applause.
Once seated back on the couches Hariko asked the question that was on all of their minds. What had been the cause of such a devastated look on the fearsome Mio.
"Mio, at least as I interpreted her, views her scar as the physical manifestation of her hatred. She believes that she is hatred in human form. If it was taken from her, then it would be as though someone had taken her very identity away from her."
"Can you explain what happened in the moment before Mio walked away?"
"Mio hates Katsuki and Mizuki for the same reason that she envies them. They both had dark things happen to them and they both managed to retain the ability to love. Mio only knows how to hate and she uses that hate as a weapon. She scares people, but to harm someone in a way that would turn them into a creature similar to her is something that she won't do. She is a monster, but she is not an unfeeling one. Besides that she realized that there is someone else that deserves her hate more than Mizuki and Katsuki, The only ones that had the opportunity to remove the scar would be her parents and her sister. More likely than not, her mother was responsible because her sister doesn't care and her father is not around much. But her mother is the most passionate about her distaste for the scar."
"You thought of all that in the few seconds it took to react to Katsuki?" Hariko asked with awe.
"No, Mio reacted to what was said. I was surprised as well, but once I thought about it I could understand the motivation behind the way that she had responded."
What a marvelous creature she is, Ren thought. Then he caught sight of a man in the audience. The man was very familiar. Even though the member of the audience was in disguise it was still easy for Ren to recognize him. By the gaze in the man's eye he was obviously thinking the same things that Ren was.
Ren's epiphany returned to him and he discretely patted the item that he had in his pocket. He had been carrying this item around for a while now. Suddenly the air seemed really thin and it was a miracle that he managed to stay breathing in a way that was somewhat normal. Ren wondered if Kyoko would be mad about what he was about to do. It was a selfish thing, after all, but it would solve their current problems, although, it would create others, but if he went through with it he would finally get to show the world how he felt. He would finally get to stop crushing the affection that he could not show in public. Doing that hurt a lot more than he would ever show.
"Tsuruga-san is everything alright?" Hariko asked.
Ren wondered what expression his face had shown to make her sound so concerned. He knew that now he had a quite sheepish look. There was no turning back now.
"Tatsumi-san I am quite alright. I was just thinking about my next actions."
The host gave him a confused look.
"There is about twenty minutes left in this broadcast, yes?" At her nod he continued. "Then I'm about to do something that's going to make this show very special." A nervous smile came over him as he reached a hand into his pocket.
Ren slipped off the couch, kneeling in front of Kyoko, he took a breath. His heart started to pound so hard that it was a miracle it had not burst. "I am a selfish man, I am a liar, and at times I can be a complete idiot. But despite my numerous faults I love you, Kyoko. I was going to do this in a way that was a lot more special, but suddenly I just couldn't hide this any longer. So please, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Ren finished offering the ring in the box that he had pulled from his pocket, proud that he had not choked up during his proposal.
Kyoko looked like she was getting ready to faint. The seconds ticked by like hours for Ren and he was sure that the black spots coming within his field of vision we not a good sign. Well at least the floor was soft.
Kyoko reached her hand out to him."Yes. Yes I will marry you."
Ren breathed a sigh of relief as he place the ring on Kyoko's finger. His heart was still hammering and he was afraid that it was going to pound through his chest and fall upon the ground. At the very least, it would leave a heart shaped indent on his body.
For some reason, Kyoko seemed to find this post-proposal nervousness amusing. Well he had just the remedy for that. He gave her the full force puppy dog eyes.
The change in her expression was almost comical."Those eyes won't work forever." she declared.
Ren just smiled and pulled her down to the floor with him. His legs were uncooperative at the moment and it was time for their first official instance of PDA. He placed a chaste kiss on her lips. It was torture not to deepen the kiss, but he knew chaste was the way to go because even though they engaged anything more would embarrass and anger Kyoko.
Somewhere in the middle of the applauding audience, a unnaturally blond man, faced filled with rage, pushed his way out of the studio.
Elsewhere, the President of LME was making a call to a couple in America. There was a wedding to plan and he was sure that the parents would want to be involved in such an event.
