Chapter 10: Triangular Shadows

A/N: Just a little note: Now that Ryan's true identity has been revealed, when using his alias like in the parts of the story when Pacifica's point of view is given, that will not be a typo as she still knows him as Ryan as she has known him for years. However, when Dipper, Bill Cipher, or even Bill Northwest's point of view is given, the name Carson will be used. Just wanted to make that clear before continuing. On with the chappie!

'It was my mother all over again and while she can't hurt me ever again, I still feel the pain of everything she has done to me and if Dipper and daddy don't do something soon, I'll be forced to live through that nightmare all over again, this time with someone new! Nothing something I want to do!'

~(Dipper's P.O.V.)~

"So maybe I could just go in and make them lose their minds on the spot!" Bill suggests as I turn yet another page in my journal. "Living nightmares are my favorite things to conjure."

"As good as that sounds, we have to think about this rationally." I reply to Bill as I turn to him. "If you make them all have living nightmares, then that will bring some suspicion, especially to Carson. We have to think small for now and work our way up from there. We want to take baby steps so that way we can get Pacifica out of there safe and sound. Then you can do whatever you want to him once she's back with me."

"That's the problem with you humans." Bill criticizes as he folds his arms and closes his eye. "You're always thinking too small. I thought humans were totally evolved and could use more than ten percent of their brains. I guess evolution went wrong somewhere!"

Before I could reply to Bill, a ruckus rang out from downstairs that has been happening since a day ago, something I wish would end!

"And you drank up all of my Pitt Cola that I had saved for emergencies?!" We hear Stanford yell from downstairs. "I might have been gone for thirty years, but you could have at least left that for me!"

"In case you haven't noticed, there are kids here!" Stanley replies back, his tone just as loud as his brother's. "They do get thirsty you know! Besides, I tried to get you back here as fast as possible! I'm not a miracle worker!"

"You break my machine, both of them, use my name, take over my house, and then use my emergency supplies?!" Stanford snaps. "You are absolutely incredible!"

"What was I suppose to do?!" Stanley yells back, an aggravated sigh erupting from me and Mabel. "Not drink until you came back?! I'd be dust right now if that was supposed to be the plan!"

They have been fighting since Stanford came back and haven't let up once! Why can't Stanford just accept what happened and move on?! I'd like to have our mornings back when we can all have breakfast and not hear Stanford ripping our uncle apart for something that happened so long ago! We use to have that before he arrived and now I'm longing for that time again! So Stanley did some things that warrant some criticism, but if Mabel and I can let it go, so can he! I'm already stressed with my girlfriend having been kidnapped again and this certainly isn't helping! I had to put looking for Pacifica aside for a bit just to deal with the portal and Stan lying to us for the time he has and now that things have gone back to somewhat normal, then I can focus again, at least I think I can despite all of the yelling taking place from time to time.

"I'll go run damage control." Mabel sighs as she heads towards the door. "But let me know what the plan is Dip Dots."

"Will do sis." I reply back to her as she leaves the room.

"So what is the plan Pine Tree?" Bill inquires as he floats over to my desk and takes a seat next to my journal, him leaning back on it as if to relax his body. "I can already tell you that using this journal in the plan will be pretty much useless. Nothing here can counter someone with an identity crisis, just the supernatural elements of this town."

Yeah, tell me something that I don't know!

"Well, I wasn't going to use the journal because I have a far better asset that will assure that the plan is seen through to the end with no hitches." I speak to Bill with a sly smile as I shut the journal. "Now that you've given us the information we need about Carson, here's what I need you to do for me."

"You know, it doesn't feel too great when I'm not on the end giving the orders." Bill complains as he crosses his arms in front of him.

It does feel good being in the driver's seat for once!

"So, just how good are you at making great diversions? You know without the lightshow you usually display?" I question to Bill as the expression around his eye and bow tie lightens up, mocking somewhat of a smile if he had a mouth. "Something good enough to just make a notice, but not draw any attention to yourself?"

"So I'm taking you're asking for subtlety, something that isn't normally my forte." Bill replies as he extends his right hand with a blue flame engulfing it. "But I like you Pine tree so I'll tell you what. You just name it kid and I got just what you need!"

"Great, here's what I need you to do so to get things moving." I reply as I lean into Bill to begin explaining to him what the first phase of the plan will be.

~(Ford's P.O.V.)~

Gravity Falls, good ol' Gravity Falls. It looks a lot different from the last time I was here. Everything looks like a tornado ran through here and my house is a devastated mess! Just what did my brother do in my absence other than the usual? I know I should let up and not be hard on him, but it's hard not to when your life's work has been made a mockery of! My name, my machine in which I invented, everything! Maybe he had a good reason to do this, but I can't say at this point because I am livid with him! He used my name so to keep my legacy alive, that and bringing me back were the only things I can say I appreciate him doing, but everything else is just ugh! Just seeing what he did makes me want to punch him in the face again!

Having left the den where my brother is currently, I wander into the shop and notice a lot of strange items peppered about the place, my temper reaching its max boiling point at seeing them. A taxidermy wolf's head glued to a chicken's body? Hanging sunglasses and a hat for the display of the invisible man, and a question baby?! What is that?! Stanley, just what were you thinking when you created all of this?! I came here to document the wanders of this town so to give an accurate account of the supernatural beings and happenings of this town, not to have a shop full of trinkets to sell so to gain a prophet from them! I just don't have any words for any of this right now. I'm too disgusted at this point knowing that my life's work has gone down the drain because my brother wanted to make money on the side while I was stuck in another dimension! Well while I'm here, I might as well try to set some things straight so to put things back on track. When summer is over, he will be giving me my identity back if that's the last thing he does.

If I'm going to set things straight, it'll have to start from the very beginning. Ok, maybe not the very, very start, but enough to get things straight so to start over, if that's even possible after the amount of damage Stanley did to my reputation and my name. Maybe I can even see what can be done to repair the portal. Just the looking at the condition of it makes me cringe!

Turning away from the trinkets and displays in the shop, I approach the counter and notice that a slip of paper is tucked underneath the register. Grabbing it, I unfold it to see what is scribbled on it and notice a list of items that have no connection to the other is written in list form. Blue, eyes, nice smile, wavy hair, nice arms?! What is this? This list is incoherent and doesn't make a lick of sense! Just what is this concerning?! I then turn to the top of the list and notice that this slip of paper belongs to Mabel and what she looks for in a guy. Now it makes perfect sense, but hopefully she's not looking for that in this town because that would be a huge disappointment for her.

Placing the note back under the register, I continue to the vending machine that leads to my lab, another thing that my brother took the liberty in touching. Let's go see if anything can be salvaged, but from the looks of the mess down there, I seriously doubt it.

~(Bill Cipher's P.O.V.)~

Ok, this is the place that Carson is holding Pine Tree's blondie. I just have to find out what room she's in and create a diversion of sorts so to stop the operation so he can get over here and get her. With everything that has gone on around town, I'm surprised this place hasn't been affected like the rest of the town has been. I guess distance has something to do with it, but even I'm not convinced of that.

Entering the house through the ceiling, I see a lot of men and a few girls gathered in a room so this must be the living room. Yep it is because I see a love seat, but yet no blondie. Just let me spy with my little eye what's going on here. Spy with my eye because I only have one eye! Ha! I'm hilarious!

"As you can see, she is healthy and will make the perfect wife or however you intend to use her as." Carson speaks to a guy with slick black hair as he walks a young girl with brunette hair over to the man. "I'll be sure to fax over the proper paperwork in the morning. I just have to make sure the insurance is in place."

"You promised me a clean sell Carson!" The black hair guy practically screams. "I don't want another broken girl! That last girl you sold me had too many problems, including medical! This one better be better than her!"

"I checked her records and she didn't have anything wrong when I brought her in." Carson tries to defend himself. "But I can guarantee you that this one is well put together. She's blossoming into the perfect young lady, curves and all."

Ok, deer teeth and screaming heads are one thing, but this is something completely different! I better go find blondie now! But before I go.

"Ok, now to pay our agreed upon amount." Carson says to the dark haired guy. "I take all major credit cards."

I notice the guy hand over his credit card to Carson with him taking it and walking over to a credit card machine that is attached to a computer. As he runs the card through the machine, the computer monitor shorts out with the credit machine shorting out not long after that. Oh how I love the sight of sparks and things burning in the afternoon.

I know Pine tree asked me to create a great diversion, but I figured, this is something better than nothing as I have a much bigger and better plan to turn things around later until he gets his butt over here!

"I'm sorry, but my machine appears to be down." Carson says to the guy. "It was working fine this morning when I sold another girl out."

"Are you kidding me Banes?!" The dark haired guy screeches. "First I get a girl from you with too many problems and now this happens?! You know what, I have another proposition from another dealer and I'll just go with him because your operation has proven to be everything but useful!"

"Come on Dave, you know me!" Carson practically begs. "You know I always do a double check and this malfunction is easily fixable!"

The guy, Dave, doesn't reply, but snatches his card back and storms out the door, leaving the girl behind.

"My apologies everyone." Carson apologies to those left in the room. "I'm having a little bit of technical difficulties at the moment, but if you just bear with me, I promise to get everything back on track."

A few men look at their watches and sigh with grief. Good that's what I was hoping for and now to go find blondie now that the operation has been put on ice for the time being. You're welcome Pine Tree!

Disappearing from the living room, I appear in another room which looks to be the bathroom and a pretty fancy one at that! Whoever did the décor in here did a pretty big bang up job! So blondie isn't in here so let's try another room.

From the bathroom, I go into another room and see a girl in there who is sitting at a desk filling a syringe needle with some green fluid. I also notice that blondie's picture is taped up on the wall across from the girl with a big red X over her face with a lot of derogatory words written around it. Ah, this must be the sister of Carson.

"I don't know why my brother insists on showing that tramp after all she's done to me and my friend!" Shannon barks. "He'll tell me when I can have my revenge and not before! That's not how I'm seeing it! I can get my revenge whenever I want to and this will be the start of it!"

Man, that girl is something nasty! I thought I was bad! I then notice her lift the needle into the light and thump it a bit.

"Ryan did say he wanted to make sure everyone is where they should be for this and with that tramp, I'll make sure of just that!" Shannon cynically expresses as she rises from the desk. "With this coursing through her veins, she won't know what hit her!"

Oh boy! This could get insane! With my deal in place with Pine Tree, I did agree to take baby steps in creating diversions, but I'm afraid this calls for more drastic measures, especially if he wants to save blondie alive! I better get to her before Shannon does or who knows what will happen!

I noticed I haven't updated this since March, my apologies everyone as a lot has been happening with me as to why this and my story Always By Your Side has not be updated quite yet. I still plan to write the Into The Bunker AU, trust me I do, I just have to remember how I'm going to do it is all, but an update on my profile (the VERY last update on my profile) will give an insight into what's been going on with me outside of the usual as to why it hasn't been updated quite yet. For those who are aware of my status already, please disregard the update, but for those who are curious as to why my updates aren't coming out as fast, you will want to read that update. It's vitally important.

The next chapter of this fanfic will be much longer as this is all I had for this update, but things truly heat up now that Bill is involved! Stay tuned and don't forget to,
