I woke up from my bed in the hotel room still tired. I needed answers.

How were there gem rebels here?

How did Afro-kid...I mean Steven have a gem? (Part of me doesn't want this question answered)

Did the destruction of the Earth almost happen previously?

...

Was Blue Pearl hiding something?

I looked over to the other part of the room to see her drawing on her screen. A picture of the rebels.

Come to think of it... I remember seeing pictures of Steven before we even knew who he was when she scrolled through her pictures.

This made no sense. She has to know a lot more than I originally thought.

She looked behind and saw me getting up to grab some clothes to change. "Oh... You're awake." She said in her soft voice. I stuttered for a moment but managed to get out a "hello". I couldn't tell if she was confused or just downright not amused. She turned the office chair she was sitting on around. It was in the room when we do It in here as part of the furniture. I had offered to let her sleep in the bed with me, but she declined.

I walked into the bathroom. It was small and had a shower, sink with drawers in it, and a toilet. No bathtub, the shower was one of those small circular ones with the glass doors that circle around built into the corner of the room. I grabbed one of the hotel-provided towels they keep in one of the drawers in the sink and put it on top of my clothes on the toilet and began taking my shower.

I really needed one, I still felt sweaty from yesterday, even after I took one last night while the others were playing a game of Pictionary in Jason and White Pearl's room. I heard that Chester and Yellow Pearl won from Blue Pearl, who was illustrating the whole scene on her drawing software. After I had finished washing my hair and face (Soap had covered my face like the whole time), I turned off the shower and reached out for the towel. I looked over and noticed Blue Pearl looking at me from the entrance confused.

"GAH!" I screamed, covering my privates with the towel. "P-Pearl... What are you doing?!" I asked while stuttering. "I didn't know what humans did in this room, and wanted to know." She said innocently in the same soft voice as always. "I mean, you could have just asked..." I said, wrapping the towel around my waist. "I'm sorry... I didn't know you humans were sensitive with what you do in this room." She dipped her head in apologies, still not changing the way she talked, leaving me to wonder on wether she was sincere or being sarcastic.

"Well... Just ask me if you want to discover new things about Earth first, please." I said calmly. I suppose I can't fully blame her, I would want to know what an alien species does in a strange room too.

She left, and I got dressed with the clothes I had brought in. I just wore a plain blue shirt and gray pants. I'm not good at coming up with outfits, so I'm good with something simple like this.

Beach City was truly something else. A nice sunny place where apparently all of its inhabitants are perfectly cool with aliens. However, it was still technically winter, so I heard some people whisper to each other why Blue Pearl is always wearing a swim suit. Come to think of it, her outfit does look like a swim suit.

The more you know.

I really wanted to grab some ice cream from a local stand, but it was morning, so I settled for this little donut shop near the giant statue the Crystal Gems live in. It was simple. When Blue Pearl and I walked in, there were two people inside. One teenager managing the counter. She was short, but seemed fine for the job with reaching up for the donuts. The other was a girl with black hair, brown skin, and she had a sword.

A freaking sword. A LARGE PINK SWORD?! WHY ARE KIDS IN THIS TOWN ALLOWED TO HAVE DANGEROUS WEAPONS?!

I glanced at my gauntlet which I had on during this. I guess I'm being very hypocritical.

The girl with the sword just stared at us for a moment and ran out to the giant statue the Crystal Gems live in. I guess that makes sense. She has to be involved with them. She seemed in a rush. Either she was scared of us, or she was late for something. I'm going to assume she was scared of us. I ordered my donuts. Two glazed. All the while, the girl working there seemed fine. She must be used to this sort of thing.

Pearl and I walked out and sat on a nearby bench. I offered her one of the donuts, mostly because I felt bad eating two by myself. Like I expected, she didn't want one.

After I had finished the donuts, I noticed Chester, Jason, and the two other Pearls running towards us with panic.

"Dude, we have a problem..." Center said in his normal "I'm-going-to-have-a-nervous-breakdown" voice.

Here we go again.
