A/N: Funny story, you're just going to die hearing it—you're not, but still… So the original plot for this story was that Jacob was going to end up with Sam and Emily would kinda just I don't know, leave. But then as I was writing more ideas came for a JakeWardy kinda happy ending and so Sam just became the supportive brother/friend *shrugs*. So yeah, no more Sam/Jacob.

Shout_Outs:

lytebrytehybrid88: Yeah, it's like slowly killing him and nobody even knows. Since Alice's Seen it, Carlisle already knows and just needs to work out how to try and get the venom out Jake's system.

Marie One: Yeah, it's just better… Thank you. Yeah, he's slowly working through his isht! I'd be angry too, because it's kinda like Edward was stringing her along, yah know. Oh no, no more. It was just that one so you know, people are aware and don't like freak out about it. No more spoilers though.

Xavion639: Aaw *blushes* thank you, stroking my ego like that. *LoL* I agree about that, even I want her to die in a ditch. I love Nessie too, she's a sweetheart. Yeah, he will be now :).

Emeralden Rapley: Thank you :) *blushes*. They probably don't even realise that the Pack is out for blood and kinda in this attack first/ask questions later mentality.

KxZ fan girl: Oh Edward shall get his punishment. I don't know about Bella though, technically she didn't do anything, but I mean, she will do something so I suppose she will be punished. Yeah, Edward always takes the easy route and runs, like damn him! He will be punished, don't you worry.

Cinnamon–Romanji: Of course the Volturi will find out, but not for a while. Oh there will be fear, fear and anger and a whole lot of other emotions too. Nessie'll be like crazy protective of her baby brother, like nobody speaks ill of him, no one. One or the other, not sure yet.

animefreakpunk: Yeah, I just wanted to make sure that people got a heads up, no more spoilers though. There'll be plenty more of that.

dris: Here is 'more more more' for you :). Not yet, the poor thing.

Guest: Thank you :).

aidbye: Me too. No, it's not his fault at all.

Mizuke 8D: Thanks.

darkmoon1995: Here's more!

smartbookworm: Here's an update, sorry it's late. I'm gonna try real hard to continue this one because it is one of my favourite stories.

Guest: I try to make descriptions as vivid as possible, good to know it worked, but I am sorry for making you cry. Thank you :). They will… eventually.

FrankieQuinn13: He is, isn't he? Yeah, he just came to realise that half that DNA belongs to him, that this is still his baby and if he looks past the whole 'baby looks like Edward' he can see that the baby doesn't look just like Edward but like others that Jacob care about like his father :D.

Oh Edward is gonna fah–reeeack and be drowning in denial, but he can't deny who the baby looks like. And he was in denial about being Mates with Jacob, he didn't want to accept it but that backfired because he got angry and jealous that Jacob wanted Bella and thought he'd show the Wolf who he 'belonged to' and then left to be with Bella to like forget what he did without knowing there's evidence. The bastard!

Even In the Darkness

Alice was the first one up, moving around the house and getting everything ready for her leave with Rose and Carlisle. Normally the tiny Vampiress would be up after Esmé and Rosalie, either enjoying cuddling with her Mate or too lazy to get up.

Nobody could blame Alice for waking up earlier than normal though. After having her Vision, Alice could barely sit down for longer than a few seconds before she'd start pacing, running her hands through her hair and biting her nails. It was unnerving to watch, having to see the normally happy girl looking so down and worried. She was worse than she had been when she'd seen that Vision of Bella being attacked by a nomad named James.

Alice let out an impatient huff, looking at the clock in the room she shared with her Mate. Jasper was sitting on the bed, watching the love of his life slowly lose her mind. Compared to how she was really feeling, he'd say she had her emotions pretty handled on the outside. She seemed quite control on the outside, but inside she was freaking out. He'd been trying to calm her since he'd gotten home to find weeping tearlessly, but it didn't seem to be a working, she hadn't calmed down.

"Allie," Jasper called softly, looking at his wife with worry. He actually wondered whether his wife might be the first Vampire on earth to get an aneurysm with the way things were going.

"Why is Carlisle taking so long?" the small Vampire let out a huff as she continued to pace the floor.

"He'll be here in a few minutes. You know he was working the night shift at the hospital."

Alice sighed, plunking herself down on the corner of the bed, a hand once more running through her hair. The small sat motionlessly for a long moment, so much so that Jasper was sure she was having a Vision. The ex–soldier wasn't wrong. Alice was having a Vision.

At first everything is blurry and unclear, dark almost. It comes the same way as a Vision involving the Wolves would. Slowly though, things start to clear up, Alice can see colours now, greens, whiteswait, a ceilingtofloor window, going from one wall to another… Edward's room back in Forks!no, it's similar to Edward's room in Forks, but there differences here and there.

Edward is in his bed, his lower half tangled in the bed sheets. His eyes are closed, chest rising and falling methodically, it looks almost as though he is asleep, but that can't be possible because he's an Undead. On his chest a baby is sleeping.

Alice can't see the baby's face, but the hair looks much like Edward's but a much darker shade.

The Vision changes slightly; Alice is viewing things from another angle. She can now clearly see the child's face. The baby looks a lot like Mason, but the nose is different.

Alice frowns, searching her Vision for something more. A large smile breaks on Alice's face.

Alice spots Jacob and Mason in the bathroom. Mason is squealing loudly, giggling as Jacob washes his hair, or at least attempts to do it since Mason won't let him.

"Edward, a little help would be appreciated," Jacob calls from the bathroom.

"I think you've got it handled, love," Edward calls back lazily, opening an eye and looking towards the open door leading to the bathroom.

"Edward." There is a hint of a whine in that tone.

"Will's almost asleep, Jacob. Just give me a few more minutes."

"Will's been asleep for hours now and I'd know this because I put him on your chest. Ed, please. Mase won't let me wash his hair and we're meeting the Pack in an hour."

"Mase, let daddy wash your hair so we can go."

"No!" comes the reply, followed by a giggle and splash of water.

"Ed…" Jacob whines. Edward chuckles quietly before gently sitting up, holding Will carefully in his arms. He walks the baby to the cot that sits at the corner of the room and lays Will down on his belly, being careful to put his face to the side so he can breathe. Edward touchs his son's cheek gently, smiling down at the boy before bending to kiss his cheek.

Wait! That ring on Edward's wedding finger. It's different! That isn't the ring he got from Bella at their wedding. It was…

Alice gasped, her hand tightening around Jasper's as an unknown feeling rose within her.

Jacob appears from the bathroom, Mason wrapped in a large fluffy towel in his daddy's arms. Jacob wears an identical ring to Edward's on his wedding finger.

They're married! They got married!

"I thought you needed help?" Edward asks with a raised brow.

"You're useless!" Jacob huffs before putting Mason on the bed and hurrying to get his clothes while Edward chuckles and dries Mason, putting lotion on his skin.

"You love me anyway," Edward says after a while. Jacob snorts at that.

"Yeah… right… Keep telling yourself that."

"You know you do."

"You love me more." Edward stops, turns towards Jacob and smiles. Jacob is standing beside him now, Mason's clothes in his hands. Edward draws him into a sweet, tender kiss which gets Jacob smiling like a love struck teen.

"And that is the truth…"

The Vision came to an end and Alice let a sound that sat somewhere between a gasp and a squeal.

"She's insane!" Emmett exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

"Oh my, goodness!" Alice exclaimed not sure if she was excited or pissed at her Vision. On the one side it was good, them going to Forks meant Jacob would survive, it meant that Edward would finally accept his Mate, that they'd have another child together, Will was his name, probably short for William, most likely named after Jacob's father.

But at the same time it was a bad thing because that meant Edward left Bella. Alice hadn't seen the outcome of that, so she couldn't be sure how Bella felt. Bella could've had a complete flip–out for all Alice knew.

"Oh my, goodness!" Alice repeated. She turned to everyone, her already large eyes going wider.

"What is it, dear?" Esmé asked gently.

"He'll live," Alice said in relief. "Jacob's going to be okay. And… and well he and Edward are going to have another child."

"What?!"

"They're going to get married, have two children, Mason and Will, both beautiful little things. They looked so happy!"

"Edward and the Puppy end up together?" Rosalie asked in shock. Alice nodded her head, a smile on her face. She was relieved to know that Jacob would be okay, that he was alive and that he'd forgive Edward enough to marry and have another child with him.

"Yes! And those children are…" A squeal escaped Alice's lips without her consent.

"This excites you?"

"Well, I mean… Now I know that Jacob's going to be okay. They really looked happy. And they mentioned something about 'meeting the Pack' and they didn't seem tense about it."

"You do know it won't be an easy road to forgiveness, right?" Rosalie asked, knowing all too well how hard it was to get over having your virtue forcefully taken, if you ever did forgive.

"Of course, but this is a good sign, right? It means that Jake's going to be okay, that he and Edward will be all right." Alice let out a long unneeded breath, flicking her hair away from her eyes.

"So are you still leaving for Forks?" Esmé asked.

"We have to! Carlisle needs to help Jacob." Esmé nodded.

They all heard Carlisle's car stop outside and Alice let out another breath, hurrying downstairs to meet her father. Carlisle stepped into the house and looked at his daughter with a raised brow. She didn't seem as tense as she had been the day before. He supposed it was a good thing, it meant she'd Seen something good.

"Are we leaving now?" Alice asked quickly, looking at the car behind Carlisle.

"In a few moments," the blond man replied. "I just need to get a few more things then we can leave.

"Okay, well hurry up!" Alice turned and rushed upstairs to get the suitcase she'd packed for herself before rushing out and shoving the bag in the trunk of the car. She looked at the medical equipment in the car and nodded, mentally checking each thing—with two doctors in the house, Edward having studied it years ago too, Alice knew a bit about everything medical.

Carlisle and Rosalie came out the house five minutes later, both carrying bags with their clothes in. They weren't sure how long they'd be spending in Forks, but they were planning on spending as much time as it took to get Jacob healthy again.

The three kissed their Mates goodbye, promising to call Esmé with news on Jacob's health then got into the car and Carlisle drove them to the airport. Rosalie had taken care of the preparation of their private jet since Alice had been too distraught to do anything useful.

Everything went pretty quickly and in no time at all the three reached Forks. They decided to head to the house and come up with a plan on how they'd get the Pack to believe their story since it was going to take a lot to get the Wolves to be convinced that they weren't there to hurt Jacob but to help him….
