Lover's Quarrel
DPOV
She stood before me. Elegance and grace emanated from her like a fresh breeze. Her hair was blazon gold like the sun and her eyes were the colour of a deep crimson like the heart of a roaring fire. Then she spoke, the first proper words I had heard from her since 1860. "What? No hello?" I stood, frozen and dumbstruck by the currently unfolding situation. "Oh come on David, now don't go telling me that you aren't surprised to see me?" "How? How are you even here Sarah?" My words trembled for the first time in over 200 years. "Well now soldier boy, you know as well as I do that our kind roamed quite freely back when we were young." "How did you find me?" "Oh honey, I've been tracking you for close to 200 years now, ever since I was blessed with this life I've been looking for you sugar." "But, your eyes. You kill freely. I'm not like that and neither are my family." "Family? You mean to tell me, your one love, that you have a family? How long did it take you to replace me?" "You haven't been replaced, I only joined them a few days ago, I was looking for others like me and well… Luckily Jasper was among them." "Oh good how is the old bastard? Changed much?" "Look Sarah… If you've come for me then I will gladly sit and talk for an eternity but if you are going to stay you are going to have to change your diet." "I was beginning to wonder why your eyes were golden."
EPOV
I lounged on the sofa in the living room reading when David's voice rang clear in my head. "I'm bringing someone home with me, gather the family." I called out each name and each was standing in front of me almost instantly. They all looked puzzled as to why such an outburst had occurred but as they saw David arriving home with a radiant vampire they each realized why I had called them.
DPOV
Sarah and I stepped over the threshold of the back French doors and were greeted by the stunned looks of my family. "Everyone this is Sarah, she… Well she's my mate. I thought I had lost her back when I was changed but as fate would have it she was changed not too long after Jasper and myself and has spent all these years looking for me." "Hello everyone, I hope y'all won't mind my intrusion into your day but I just had to meet you all, David told me so much about you in so little time that I simply couldn't wait to get to know you." Sarah's voice rang with truth and excitement. Jasper was the first to step forward, embracing Sarah in a fierce hug. "Sarah it's so good to see you again." "It's good to see you too Jasper." Each member of the family stepped forward and greeted Sarah, Carlisle shook her hand, Esme hugged her tightly, Emmett high fived her, Rosalie nodded, Bella hugged her; Alice leapt forward with excitement and hugged her. The last was Reneseme. She stepped quietly forward. "David… Is this the woman you spoke of the other day?" "Yes it is, she is everything I spoke of and more." Reneseme smiled and embraced Sarah, knowing full well the extent of my affection for her. Sarah jumped back from her hug, shocked by her warm touch but I gripped her hand and nodded, reassuring her that the more human looking and feeling immortal was safe to be around.

When all the introductions were made Alice and Bella grabbed Sarah and ran off to show her around whilst David stayed behind, his weight shifted and he leant against one of the staircase pillars, a smirk flew across his face and joy and love burst forth from him like a hot spring, it was the same love that I myself felt when I met Alice. I knew he meant business.
