Back up and posting. Chapter 9 has been posted in place of the note and this will be chapter ten to get people's attention.
Aelita started to stir and I knelt next to her. "My love, how are you?" I asked her.
"Fine, just a stupid flashback." She stated.
I frowned. "Remember anything, or anything that you want to tell me?"
She shook her head and mouthed, "I'll tell you later."
"Well that's too bad... I was hoping for something to defeat XANA with..." I sighed.
"Colt, Terry, and Brian? Do you guys have anything that tells us if my dad is still alive and if so, where he is?" Aelita asked.
"Luckily Jeremy virtualized you into the right sector. Go straight ahead and take your second right. Coordniates 24 North by 16 West. Odd, your Overboard is virtualizing now." Colt's voice rang out.
"Thanks, Colt!" Aelita thanked.
"Let's go!" I flipped onto my board, then held a hand out and pulled Aelita up onto the board. Aelita put her hands around my waist, and I took off. Aelita blushed as she realized how close they were to a certain spot. I did not take note and never did as it was common for us to ride like this. Aelita reached back with one hand and notched an arrow onto her bow, so she could draw and shoot if needed. "We are almost there." I muttered. I noticed that a white orb was floating at the center of the circle. "There he is!" I hollered back at Aelita. She almost jumped off in her excitement. I stopped right next to Franz, hopped off, and helped Aelita off the board. I offered my hand in a show of romance and she smiled back at me and took it, and together we moved as one until we were standing in front of her father. Franz would give me the best present of my life and I was totally unprepared.
