Author's Note: That's all I needed. Enjoy.

Theme: Opportunities

He sat in the orphanage, day in and day out, telling the other kids stories of places they thought he'd dreamed up. He went to school and drew pictures of data beams where his history notes were supposed to go. There was nothing for him here.

And scarier yet, he was alone.

He had never been alone in the digital world. He had always, always had Cyberdramon. But here, in the world that he supposed must be his although he didn't remember it, there was nobody. He remembered nobody, and nobody seemed to remember him.

Then he met Kori and he had somebody. Kori took him home, gave him better food to eat and a place to sleep. And more importantly, he gave him a friend. Family. They talked, laughed. He, too, thought that the digital world in Ryo's stories was a place from his dreams, but it wasn't as frustrating from Kori. Ryo laughed with him, savoring the memories while Kori savored the entertainment.

Kori was the first person to play the new Digimon Trading Card Game with him. Kori let him play with his friends, helped him refine his strategies and technique. It was Kori who paid the entrance fee to the tournament that made him somebody in the gamer world.

Kori gave him the opportunity to be something: a friend, a brother, a legend.
