(A.N): Okay so it's a little over five days (more like five weeks... sorry) but I have been busy. Anyway, I've decided that I'm not going to be cruel and give you no EPOV but I'm sorry, it is going to have to be quite short because I want to leave a cliffy.

Chapter 10: Resistance
Previously...
"You can't know that Jasper, what if Victoria has something to do with this, what if she took him?" I shuddered at my own morbid thoughts.
"Oh it wasn't her-" Alice said solemnly, "it was the Volturi."
BPOV
"What!" I shouted, "they found out about me, about us, they're going to kill him!"
A single tear rolled down my cheek as the realisation of what I just said hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Oh honey." Esme jumped from her place and engulfed me in a hug.
"How can you know it's the Volturi, it could be anyone?" Rosalie asked.
"Because I had a vision, the same vision that told us that Isabella Aquarone was Bella, our Bella." Alice exclaimed.
"So then Edward knew this would happen?" Esme gasped.
"Not really, once we found out about Bella the future shifted so much, it was hard to see anything!" Alice replied.
"What happened in the vision?" Emmett cocked his head to one side as he asked this, it reminded me of how puppies look when they look at their masters.
"Edward was chained up with some pretty serious metal, his eyes were the blackest I've ever seen them and you could tell from the way his body was ready to pounce that he was really hungry, the Volturi were obviously starving him. Then Bella came in and forced him to drink from her." Alice's eyes were staring into the distance, her mind was far away.
"Are you saying that we have to go to Italy? To Volterra?" Alexis gasped, it was no secret that all sirens were brought up to quiver at the very mention of that place, it was where the Volturi decided to murder every innocent siren all those years ago.
Alice nodded solemnly.
"Then we must inform the Elders." Esmerelda announced.
"And what will they do? Tell us to stay put whilst Edward is being tortured!" I growled.
"Bells, it isn't safe for us to go alone." She tried to reason.
"I don't care! Edward certainly didn't care about getting to the ballet studio before everyone else and having to fight alone when he saved me from James!" I was officially angry with my sister, she wouldn't behave like this if it was Giacobbe who had been taken.
"Isabella, James was nothing compared to the Volturi." Giacobbe said matter-of-factly, as though those words alone could stop me.
"Fine then, you go to the Elders, I'm going to Volterra." I said impatiently.
"Bella please be reasonable." Esmerelda pleaded.
"I am being reasonable." I hissed.
Then something completely unexpected happened...
"If you're going to Italy then I am coming with you!" Rosalie announce suddenly.
I just stared at her with my mouth agape, Rosalie had never tried to disguise her hatred for me.
"I admire your determination to save my brother, I can't let you do it alone." She continued, ignoring my stunned silence. She smiled at me sheepishly.
"T-thank you Rosalie." I stumbled over my words, shocked at the complete one-eighty Rosalie's mood had taken towards me.
"Please Bella, call me Rose." She smiled wider at me, flashing a perfect set of teeth.
"Rose." I agreed, smiling back.
I felt as though a small line of understanding had been drawn between me and Rose, we had one thing in common, at least, and that was that we were both willing to fight to save Edward.
"Well if my lady and my baby sis are gonna go and kick some Volturi ass then I can't let them do it alone." Emmett grinned, pumping the air with his fist.
"It's settled then, we'll set of for Italy as soon as we can get flights and if we can't get flights then I'll swim there." I exclaimed.
"Wait hone, I'm really not sure about this, I think we need to speak to Gran first." Esmerelda bit her lip timidly, not wanting the reaction that she knew was coming from me.
"Well I am sure." I replied curtly.
"I'm all for going now Bella but I do think that we should plan how we're going to approach this first." Jasper said softly.
I chewed on my lip. The longer we waited, the longer Edward would be subjected to torture.
"I do think it would be better to go to Italy with a plan of action rather than just go in with all guns blazing." Carlisle agreed.
I couldn't argue with Carlisle or Jasper so I gave in and agreed to plan our break out operation before we left.
"I'm gonna go for a swim to calm me down, today has been stressful." Esmerelda announced, standing and moving to the door. "You coming Jay?" She asked, looking at her husband.
"Okay then." He too, stood and the both of them went out of the back door.
There was nothing odd about that, when a siren was stressed all she wanted to do was go to the place where they felt the most calm which was the water.
As soon they had left we began to plan our rescue mission/possible suicide attempt.
"So it's all sorted then, Ali will book the next possible flights to Italy and then as soon as we get there we will ask to speak with Aro, Marcus and Caius. We will pretend that we don't know that they've taken Edward, we'll ask them for our help to try and track him down. Then you, Bella, will sneak around and try to find a way in to Edward without the Volturi guard picking up a scent. Once you have him Alice will see and we shall leave." Carlisle explained.
Alice began to nod but then her eyes glazed over and she had her vision...
She let out a growl of frustration.
"Esmerelda has gone to your Grandmother." She informed us.
I stopped playing with my tongue bar and looked up horrified. Rosalie snarled and Alexis shook her head angrily.
"That's completely ruined the plan." Jasper groaned.
"I'm gonna kill her, how can she not realise the seriousness of this? Edward's life is at risk!" I screeched, the tears stinging my eyes.
Alice jumped up from the floor and came to sit by me on the couch, wrapping her tiny arm around my shoulders.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." She soothed.
"Can you see him?" I asked desperately.
"My visions keep changing, I can't tell properly, I'm sorry." She grimaced
At that moment Esmerelda waltzed into the living room looking rather smug, Giacobbe trailed behind her looking very guilty.
I was in her face before she could blink.
"How could you?" I shrieked.
"Woah Bells chill, you'll agree that it was the right thing to do." Esmerelda raised her hands in surrender.
"The right thing to do? Do you have any idea of what you've done? We had a window of opportunity to get to Edward and you've ruined it now!" My voice was getting an octave higher with every breath.
Everyone in the room was holding their breath and looking from me to Esmerelda with scared expressions.
Esmerelda was frozen on the spot, petrified.
After a few moments she whispered, "I'm sorry."
"If we don't-" I paused and drew in a shaky breath, tears rolled down my cheeks, "-if we don't get to him in time then I will never forgive you."
Esmerelda hung her head and mumbled another apology. I went back to my seat and Alice took my hand.
"What did the Elders say?" Alexis asked coldly. It was obvious that she wasn't very impressed with what her twin had done.
"Evelyn and Gran are coming here with Tallulah in about an hour." She said cautiously, as though whatever she said next might start me off again.
"This just keeps getting better and better." Rosalie muttered sarcastically.
An hour had passed and we were all anxiously waiting for the Elders to arrive. Alice wasn't able to check the flight times because we didn't know if we would be allowed to leave.
Knock, knock, knock.
The three loud raps on the door made me jump.
Alexis looked at me with worried eyes whilst Jasper sent calming waves across the room for the umpteenth time.
Seth got up to get the door and returned moments later with Evelyn, Tallulah and my Grandmother...
EPOV
"Master said we must chain him in here." A young female voice instructed.
I recognized that voice, I could picture her sickly sweet smile in my mind. Jane.
I still couldn't use my powers or see where I was, just blackness. The shackles that were clamped around my arms were unusually strong, I couldn't struggle against them at all. However, this didn't strike me as odd, this was the room where all the Volturi's prisoners were kept. They had to be strong enough to withstand even the strongest vampires.
"Let him have his senses back now Alec." Jane instructed.
"Of course sister." Alec replied.
Suddenly it was like all the lights had been turned back on, I looked around a huge room, the walls were covered in dried blood and dust, the entire room was rotting and mouldy. It smelt like must; the ground was dry and hard. All in all an uncomfortable place for Aro to be keeping me.
Jane, Alec, Felix and two members of the Volturi I didn't recognise were grinning at me menacingly.
"What happened to Bella? Where is she?" I asked immediately. I didn't care about anything else, it was all I had been thinking about since they took me from Forks.
"The girl who was sleeping? You naughty boy Edward, sex with humans. How unsatisfying it must be..." One of the members that I didn't know laughed.
"What happened to Bella?" I asked again.
"I don't think he's in the mood for games Demetri." The woman laughed.
"No you're right Heidi I don't think he is." Demetri chuckled.
"What happened to Bella?" I repeated through gritted teeth.
"Now now, calm down Eddie boy, we didn't touch your precious Bella although I did admire how good she looked with her tattoos and her piercings. Jane wouldn't let me bring her though." Felix winked at me and let me see Bella through his mind, saw his disgusting thought's about her.
I growled.
"Felix don't tease." Jane scolded but her thought's told me that she was enjoying this thoroughly.
"Why am I here?" I sighed.
"You are here Edward because we need your help..." Jane whispered cautiously, her eyes darting around the room as though the walls could hear us.
"What with?" I looked at them sceptically.
"We want out." Demetri answered.
"Out?"
"Of the Volturi..."

Now I know I'm being really bad at updating recently and I know that this is losing me quite a lot of readers but real life is catching up to me and there are sooo many things going on at the moment. I'm so sorry :S. Anybody who read my other stories know that I'm not usually this bad at updating.
I'm going to be updating a lot more recently because things are getting more regular now :).
