GREETINGS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF GRADUATION!
Dx: Congrats. Took you long enough.
Jenny: (smack) And now you leave.
Lone Raindrop: I've got something special in mind for this!
Lone Raindrop summons water around Dx and swirls it into a vortex of water. He launches it into the sky, taking Dx with it.
RDF1: Sweet. Why didn't I think of that before?
LR: Cause you're close minded?
RDF1: (smacks forehead) Okay, guess I know what to do now!
A Giant Sponge falls down on Lone Raindrop, effectively absorbing him.
RDF1: Congrats to you too, LR, because you just finally annoyed me enough to actually take action.
Jenny: Okay, don't tell me you've got something in mind for me!?
Warriormon: Why would he? You're like his best OC.
Dragomon: Maybe it's because you're a girl, but it's not the point now.
RDF1: Okay, move on with the story before this becomes an OC chapter!
Disclaimer: RDF1 doesn't own Digimon, READ THE OTHER CHAPTERS!
RDF1: (smirking) Sweet.
(Chapter Begin)
(Recap)
Davis: Hey there, Davis here! Considering what happened last chapter, I'd thought I'd take a canon approach to this English Language fanfic and do the recap, just like in the show!
RDF1: (glares while groaning)
Davis: Okay, getting to the point! Last time, the tamers found themselves at a stopping point in the Deva attacks. Looks like they know a deva's in disguise (or at least Takato does), and they handled a particularly annoying Deva, known to others as Indramon. At the same time, the reincarnation of Apocalymon (Man, our old enemies can't stay dead, can they?) lets loose the V-Pet, which was actually cloned Digimon, and some of them got loose into the Real World. Luckily, thanks to some incredible blind coordination between the three Tamers, they were able to change the previous outcome and win without the loss of Seasarmon, whose origins were never answered.
Takato: DAMNIT!
Davis: Yeah… anyways, they're back home now ready to face the next set of Devas before eventually heading to the Digital World to confront the Sovereigns! FIND OUT NEXT!
(Recap End)
The return to school was surprisingly smooth and the next weekend, the Tamers agreed to meet up at the shed. Unfortunately, Takato was painfully aware of their friends hiding in the bushes this time… a side effect of using so much Hazard Power recently.
"Okay, from what we know about what happened last time, we're now expecting a rat and a Lion. Good thing we know who we want to stick around," informed Takato.
"Yeah, THE RAT!" replied a sarcastic Terriermon, getting eye rolls in return.
"Unfortunately, it brings up a second problem: Jeri," sighed Rika. She loved the girl like a sister, really she did; however, this point was a particularly difficult barrier to overcome: fangirlism. While not particularly overtaking everything in her life, this type of fangirlism wasn't what the Tamers wanted to see.
"So, should I talk to her?" asked Takato.
"Actually, you better let me handle it," replied Henry, "She may actually listen to me, compared to her developing crush on you. That, and when this specific crap hits the fan, it'll be better for her to have someone to help cushion the fall."
"Anything to help your love life, right Einstein?" quipped Rika, smirking, "Let's go Takato. I want some alone time with you."
"Catch you later, third wheel," chuckled Takato as the two of them left, leaving Henry to roll his eyes and groan.
"Whatever," sighed Henry and walked out with Terriermon in a different direction, yet still keeping to the park to keep an eye on Jeri.
"Why are you letting them do that to ya, Henry?" asked Terriermon.
"Because when Jeri and I get together, it'll be worth it. Jeri may never have viewed Takato the same way again, but at least she eventually forgave him. Meanwhile, I had to help her overcome a lot of insecurities, much like how you helped me. I just hope I can help her now, and help prep the healing process for later."
(AN1)
Jeri, after being left behind by Kazu and Kenta, decided to spend a bit of time with Calumon, was trying to figure out this partner stuff. It didn't help that she was convincing herself Calumon would be that partner. Luckily, someone showed up to help her out.
"Hey Jeri, what brings you here?" asked Henry, as he walked back onto the path, doing his best to be casual.
"Oh!" said a startled Jeri, before recovering a bit, "Well, Kazu and Kenta dragged me here, insisting I helped them find you guys, and then just left me here in the park all alone. Luckily, my partner Calumon is always here to keep my spirits up!"
Calumon blinked in surprise at this statement, as it was never his intention to ever be bound to a single human. He wouldn't be able to help the Tamers by being the partner of just one.
"Yeah… about that," said Henry, "I think it's time I explain to you the reason behind a partner."
"What do you mean?" asked Jeri, standing up, confused.
"The thing is," said Henry, looking up into the sky, "you don't really pick your partner… at least not in the way you expect. There's a special connection you share with each other, and in time, you learn from each other."
"Tell me more!" said Jeri, extremely interested in learning about being a Digimon Tamer.
"GRRRR!" a terrifying sound interrupted them as a Digital Field appeared from a sewer.
"Kinda apropos," said Henry, moving in front of Jeri and Calumon as they were very afraid of what was happening, "A rat jumps out from a sewer."
"I'll have you know I am a Deva! Show some respect!" countered Kumbhiramon, "I, Kumbhiramon, will destroy you!"
Henry did the last thing anyone expected him to do… facefault.
"THAT'S YOUR NAME!?" exclaimed Henry, picking himself back up, "No wonder we didn't take you seriously."
"Okay, before we talk too much, I'm just gonna hit him! TERRIER TORNADO!" said Terriermon, ironically since he was the most talkative out of anyone on the team.
The attack slammed into Kumbhiramon, forcing him back a bit.
"RUN NOW!" ordered Henry, grabbing Jeri's arm and heading the other way.
"What!? Aren't you going to fight him?" asked Jeri.
"There's a time for fighting and a time for survival! Battling an Ultimate Level Digimon of that size is tricky enough WITHOUT it being a Deva as well.
Terriermon was moving after them, but stopped long enough to keep firing Bunny Blasts at the Rat Deva, keeping him from catching up.
Eventually, they reached the fountain, giving a slightly more open area. Terriermon caught up to them, only to look at the top of the waterfall.
"HOW DID YOU BEAT ME HERE!?" demanded the dog-bunny.
"I'm a Deva, not to mention you were only attacking one of my clones. How easy it was to keep you distracted like that. Now, it's time to end this! Bǎo Chǔ!"
As he leapt, a pillar of water shot up, followed by more, sending the Rat on the other side of the Humans and Digimon. A rainbow appeared from the spouts and up rose someone the humans knew all too well, from both the card game, and the show.
"No way! It's Leomon!" cried out Jeri in jubilee, pulling his card out.
"He's a noble Lion-warrior who values Honor more than most Digimon. His Fist of the Beast King attack will send you cowering into the great beyond," added Henry, having his trusty D-Arc out.
"This is it! He's my partner!" squealed Jeri.
'If only this wasn't a copy of my backstory, it'd actually be funny,' thought Henry.
'Oh, it's STILL funny, buddy,' replied Terriermon though their link.
"HEY! This is none of your business! As a Deva, I order you to leave!"
"Oh I'm sorry," replied Leomon, "Did I break your concentration? Here, let me fix that: I DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES OF BULLIES!"
(AN2)
"Bǎo Chǔ!" called out the Rat, charging at Leomon through the air.
Leomon pulled out his Shishiouken in return, and blocked his attack with incredible ease, before using the momentum to send the rat flying.
"I'd say I'm jealous but I Digivolve into a Gun-Bunny, so I won't complain," commented Terriermon, crossing his arms.
"How mature of you," said Henry.
"Had to happen eventually, Henry," shrugged Terriermon.
After Leomon landed on the ground, Jeri ran up to him, proclaiming him to be her partner.
"Uh… come again?" asked Leomon.
Luckily, Henry could intervene.
"Leomon, my name is Henry, and this is my partner: Terriermon," introduced Henry, "Forgive my over-excitable friend, she's been daydreaming about getting a Digimon partner without really thinking it all the way through."
"HENRY!?" cried out Jeri, indignant.
"Look, if you have anymore questions, just find one of the people on this paper. They'll help you adjust to what's going on in this city currently," added Henry, handing Leomon a small piece of folded paper, which revealed the current tamers, their pictures, and their Digimon when unfolded, "Just be careful and stay out of sight. People can tend to freak if their perception of reality is challenged."
"Understood," nodded Leomon, "I'll be around."
Leomon then started walking away, before noticing Jeri following him. Sensing dread, he started to bolt, with Jeri and Calumon behind him.
"Okay, NOW we can laugh," said Henry, upon which he and Terriermon proceeded to break down laughing at the situation in front of them.
"THANK YOU!" laughed Terriermon, "Being mature that long was getting tiresome."
(AN3)
After a few minutes, they recollected themselves and walked off smirking: fangirl montages… one thing they DIDN'T want to get involved in.
Meanwhile back at the shed, a certain couple finally got some alone time and were currently making out in the 'extended' portion when they heard Calumon call out before being silenced. They separated and popped their heads out to see Leomon holding Calumon, covering his mouth as Renamon and Guilmon appeared at the entrance.
"Okay, this is getting ridiculous," grumbled Rika, having straightened her appearance and exited the 'extended' portion, "Just what is going on here?"
"GUILMON!" exclaimed Calumon, as the red Dino showed up, getting out of Leomon's grip and flew over to hug him, glad to be out of that lion's grasp.
"Apparently, Leomon has gained a fangirl," said Guilmon, looking behind him to see Jeri in the distance looking around for something/someone.
"And that fangirl is, unfortunately, our Jeri Katou," added Renamon, having appeared in the shed her own way.
"Okay, first off, why is she like that? And Second, can you keep her away from me?" asked the only one out of place in the shed.
All four of others had the collective thought of 'not for long' on the second one.
"In this world, there is a subspecies that appears and disappears at times called: fangirls," explained Rika, taking a deep breath and sighing, "this ranges from one, as now, to hundreds in worst case scenarios. Usually it's when a male figure meeting certain criteria shows up and the fangirl phenomenon manifests itself in the female populace. This can range from harmless crush to 'OMG WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR LIFE FOR THAT ONE!' Most of the time, the subject of the fangirlism is usually not interested and it can lead to some rather… disturbing behaviors. Luckily, Jeri's is only showing the 'chasing' and 'admiration' signs so far."
"That sounds like a guy's worst nightmare to the nth degree," concluded Leomon.
"THERE YOU ARE!" came the familiar voice of Jeri, "Takato, Rika! Meet my partner, Mr. Leomon!"
"Hate to burst your bubble Jer," frowned Rika, "but I'll need to see a D-Arc before anything's official."
This got Jeri's attention, and she started to gain her normal senses back for a bit.
"Okay, so I don't have one now… BUT I WILL HAVE ONE SOON! THEN YOU'LL SEE!" snapped Jeri, relapsing into Fangirlism once more.
"Oh god, it's moved to the 'romance admiration' phase," said Rika, starting to freak out and stepping away, "My advice, Leomon: RUN!"
(AN4)
So, nearly 40 minutes later, all three Tamers and Digimon were sitting and watching while Jeri chased after Leomon. None wanting to come between a fangirl and her target.
"Jeri's got quite the stamina, huh?" noted Rika, after getting to the 25-minute marker.
"That's what she said," said Takato and Henry at the same time, causing Rika to roll her eyes while Terriermon chuckled and Guilmon and Renamon to sigh.
Soon, after they hit the 40-minute mark, Takato turned to Henry.
"Anything we can ACTUALLY do to speed up this process?" asked Takato.
"Hopefully, they're wearing down to the point where they can actually listen," sighed Henry, before calling out, "JERI! LEOMON! YOU MIGHT WANT TO STOP AND LISTEN TO THIS!"
Jeri did, in fact, heard this and stopped. Leomon took this as a chance to head into the trees to lose her, only to find himself on the receiving end of an attack from same Rat as before. Pulling out his Lion King Sword, he blocked the attack, but was forced back out into the open before he managed to deflect the rat off of him.
"And here's our cue," said Rika, getting up, alongside the boys and Digimon.
The Digimon took their place around the Rat, surrounding him.
"Stay out of this. He's mine to fight alone!" said Leomon.
"That's all well and good…" started Renamon.
"But we're kinda tired of this guy, and we've only seen him for a few minutes…" added Terriermon.
"Besides," finished Guilmon, "This Rat needs to return to his hole in the wall!"
"I don't think so!" said the Rat, "DEVA CLONE!"
The rat managed to surround Leomon with the distraction and the Tamer Digimon moved into position.
"Leomon, follow our lead and attack the point directly below you!" ordered Guilmon as the three jumped into the air.
PYRO SHERE!
DIAMOND STORM!
CHARGED BUNNY BLAST!
Leomon noticed the attacks heading straight for him and jumped, allowing the Deva who had been attacking him get hit instead. Getting the hint, he focused his power.
"FIST OF THE BEAST KING!"
The combined power of four ripped through the barriers and Kumbhiramon was sent back to the Digital World where he belonged.
After Leomon landed, he noticed Henry walking over to Jeri and shook his head at her, telling her to let Leomon go. Leomon nodded at the tamers and made his way out of the area.
"Jeri, it's time you understand part two of the partners' system. Having a partner will help you grow as a person. You learn from each other as you develop traits of one another," informed Henry, "Before I met Terriermon, I had learned Martial Arts and had hurt another kid I knew out of anger. From that point on, I swore not to fight again. But, thanks to Terriermon, I learned that there was a time and a place for fighting, and there was always a point in fighting to defend, not attack. I had to overcome my own dark side and learn to accept it. Fighting to defend those that can't defend themselves is my way of learning from my past mistakes. Terriermon, as a Digimon, liked to fight… a lot. I had to teach him how to avoid fighting and learn to take in a non-violent solution. We both learned from each other. When you receive your partner, you're going to learn from them as they learn from you. You can't just force it, you need to let it happen naturally."
Jeri was holding back tears at this revelation, but nodded as she listened to Henry because he made sense. Somewhere, deep inside her, the rational part of her knew she had to let the fangirl go. If she couldn't mature, then she didn't deserve a partner.
(AN5)
It wasn't long after the Rat Deva was returned to the Digital World that an Earthquake hit. The three tamers looked to each other and nodded, it was time.
Pulling out his phone, Takato made the call.
"Greetings, Takato. I take it this is business?" asked Yamaki, "Considering you just sent another Deva back, I figured you'd be done for at least the day."
"Unfortunately, our work has only just begun," said Takato, "That earthquake was just the beginning. Is there any way we can evacuate the city without creating mass panic?"
"… Hmm… that would be tricky. Any reason why?" asked Yamaki.
"We have just sent back the smallest of the Devas. Next up just so happens to be the Pig Deva, and he takes on new meaning of 'living tank'. The size of a house and the force of a hurricane, with more hair than a woolly mammoth… pardon the comparison," informed Takato.
"... I'll see what I can get the Monster Makers to come up with. I'll get the Military and Police involved if it becomes necessary," replied Yamaki before hanging up.
"Okay, now that that's set up, ready to take down a monkey?" smirked Takato, getting smirks in return.
Yamaki headed upstairs as soon as he got off the phone.
"Riley, Talley, get me the board now! It's an emergency. Keep tracking the signal and do what you need to keep track of it!" Yamaki said urgently.
"Yes sir!" responded the girls as four images appeared on the dome.
"Yamaki, this had better be good!" demanded one of the men.
"The city's survival important enough for you guys!?" countered Yamaki, "I've been informed that this next Wild One coming through is not only enormous, but is also responsible for the earthquake, which more will come, and will be destructive enough to cause more than a few blocks of property damage!"
"What about your 'team'?" asked the woman.
"They'll do their job, but civilians will become a complication if we can't get them out of the city," replied Yamaki.
"Understood," said the second man, "We'll authorize military escort to evacuate. Anyone that gets left behind will be the responsibility of you and your 'team', understood?"
"I'll take responsibility for my 'team' and the Monster Makers. Anyone else will be added on a need basis only," informed Yamaki.
"Very well," said the third man, "We'll get our people out. Best of luck, Yamaki!"
The transmission cut off after that.
"Talley, contact all employees. Tell them this is an immediate evacuation. Until further notice, they are not to return to work. Benefits will be covered depending on their Cooperation, but don't tell them that until we've allowed them to return," informed Yamaki.
"Understood," said Talley, before opening up the coms, "Attention all personnel: Due to Earthquake activity, until further notice: all workers are to leave the Hypnos building and follow the instructions of the Military Escorts waiting for you outside. I repeat: due to Earthquake activity, all workers are to leave the Hypnos Building and follow the instructions of the Military Escorts waiting for you outside."
"That should take care of any extra projects going on right now," concluded Yamaki, "Just remember to keep Juggernaut on standby. With the adjustments we've made, we SHOULD be able to hold off the Deva if things get out of hand."
Meanwhile, a few hours later Takato and the Tamers led their future teammates towards the Hypnos Building. Rika might not like Yamaki, but she knew they'd be the safest at the Hypnos Building, as long as it wasn't targeted for an attack.
"So, where are we going?" asked Kazu, after ten minutes of walking.
"There's a Digimon coming," explained Henry, the most patient with them, despite Takato being closer friends, "We've asked the city to be evacuated, you three and Calumon are going to the safest place we can think of."
"And where's that?" asked Kenta.
"The Hypnos building," said Rika, a frown on her face, but not an outright scowl, "There, you should be protected while we handle the Digimon. The less people are in the way, the better we are able to fight."
"But you guys will still be in danger," added Jeri, worried for her friends, especially Takato.
"We can focus better without anyone else there. We've allowed it in the past, but that was because we haven't needed more than one Ultimate to do the job, minus Rika's twitchy hand against the Ox Deva," replied Takato, getting a half-glare from his girlfriend, which he ignored for the time being, "That being said, this one is leagues above the ones before. We'll need everything we've got to take him down."
They approached the Hypnos building, and directed them inside where Janyu was waiting for them.
"Glad to see you kids safe," said Janyu, "Alright, Kazu, Kenta, and Jeri; you three and Calumon are with me. The rest of you: be safe!"
The Tamers nodded with serious expressions. They turned to head out, and exited Hypnos with one purpose: sending a pig back to its pasture.
(AN6)
As they walked, they smiled at the mostly empty streets since the Military and police were quick to establish the evacuation. They took out their Digivices and pulled out their Digivolution cards; it was time to go all out now. They approached Vikaralamon's Bio-Emergence spot and held up their cards. As the smoke appeared, their glasses and goggles already on, they changed the cards to blue and swiped them in perfect time.
DIGI-MODIFY (x3): MATRIX DIGIVOLUTION ACTIVATE!
Guilmon/Terriermon/Renamon: Guilmon/Terriermon/Renamon Matrix Digivolve to…
WARGROWLMON!
RAPIDMON!
TAOMON!
'45 percent! Start here and we'll go up!' came Megidramon's welcome voice as WarGrowlmon started to glow a bit, though less noticeable compared to his rookie form.
Vikaralamon appeared in the real world, only to see his targets in front of him.
"You insects! How DARE you humiliate my brothers!" declared Vikaralamon, "I will destroy you AND this world!"
Takato glared straight into Vikaralamon's eyes, unnerving him a bit.
"You won't destroy anyone in this world, let alone everything!" countered Takato, his voice barely masking rage, "I am the container of the Hazard and as such have declared this world under my protection! Begone before we MAKE you!"
Rika may have felt a bit intimidated, but she couldn't help but look in awe at how strong Takato was looking right now. Her love for him doubled right then and there, but as some 'dirty' thoughts betrayed her, she shifted her focus back on the task at hand. The Hazard protected this world, and as his queen, she would be right there next to him, where she SHOULD be.
Henry was very impressed. Despite the personal score Takato had always wanted to settle with Vikaralamon, he was handling this with Diplomatic tact that someone his age could get away with: warning, then battle.
"Very well, you shall all be destroyed!" exclaimed Vikaralamon, "FUSION BALL!"
The attack was aimed right at Takato, but he wasn't worried. WarGrowlmon moved in front of him in the blink of an eye and pulled back his metal claw as a fist and punched the Fusion Ball. Strangely enough, the ball wasn't sent flying, but it wasn't gaining ground either.
"HOW DARE YOU!" screamed Vikaralamon.
BOAR BOG!
The goopy mess surrounded both of them, allowing the Fusion Ball to trap them further. Henry and Rika moved out the way as their Digimon took to the air.
THOUSAND SPELLS!
Taomon sent several hundred spell tags around Vikaralamon.
MIRACLE MISSILES!
Rapidmon followed up with dozens of missiles entering the Pig's open mouth. An explosion both inside and out shook up Vikaralamon, but he wasn't going down that easily.
BAO RAN!
This caught the group off guard, as they never heard this attack last time. What happened next was something they didn't expect: a chakra aura surrounded Vikaralamon, then changed into a strange golden wheel with spikes, before the spikes sent out multiple bullets of his boar bog, catching both Taomon and Rapidmon and pinning them to buildings.
"This isn't good!" said Henry, as Vikaralamon turned and started his trek down the street.
"Tell me something I don't know, Einstein," quipped Rika, "You think it's time we stepped up!?"
Suddenly both of them heard shouting. The feeling they had when the Hazard Power was growing returned, and this time they felt it with a bit of ironic relief.
(AN7)
"NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY! AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!" exploded Takato, as he and WarGrowlmon obliterated the attacks that bound them.
'We're now at 70% power. We're pushing it as is, so don't mess around,' worried Megidramon, as he didn't want his container to explode before he could handle full power. It wouldn't due to die by overdose, even when said overdose is getting less and less likely.
WarGrowlmon moved so fast, he appeared as a blur to the untrained eye. That being said, Henry and Rika could barely keep up while Rapidmon and Taomon were clearly amazed at this increase in power and speed. Henry and Rika turned to each other and nodded, before screaming their heads off too. Rapidmon and Taomon felt the power increase and broke free themselves.
FUSION BALL!
Rapidmon moved quickly as well, firing off round after round of Missiles, taking out the Fusion Balls before they could do more damage.
TALISMAN OF LIGHT!
Rapidmon quickly dispatched what darkness had appeared around the gateway to the Digital World.
"Time to end this!" declared Takato, before focusing even MORE energy from him into WarGrowlmon.
'You're at 85 percent!' warned Megidramon, 'I told you to wait until we got to the Digital World!'
(AN8)
Takato didn't listen as all that power went into WarGrowlmon, giving him a big power boost as he had a red aura around him as he grabbed onto the tusks and heaved Vikaralamon right off the ground and used his power to fling the pig right back through the portal.
"AND STAY OUT!" finished Takato, panting from exertion. Suddenly a chill went down his spin.
He turned to see Makuramon leaping up into the sky with Calumon in hand.
"THEY HAD ONE JOB!" exclaimed Takato in disappointment.
WarGrowlmon, despite exhaustion setting in, used his boosters to go after Makuramon.
"I don't think so!" said Makuramon, sending an energy orb at WarGrowlmon, who barely managed to block the hit, only to be sent to the ground, out of energy as Guilmon.
"Well that's just great," said Takato, as he felt his energy leave him as well as he collapsed onto the ground.
"TAKATO!" said Rika in concern.
"HOW DARE YOU, YOU FIEND!" shouted a familiar voice.
"Again!? Must you nuisances NOT know your place!?" gripped Makuramon, using an energy ball and shattering it before sending the shards at Leomon, knocking him down to the ground.
"LEOMON!" cried Jeri, running up, true concern in her voice.
Rika and Henry, though drained, weren't as bad off as Takato, and could stay standing as they witnessed Jeri get her Digivice and healed Leomon up.
(AN9)
"Okay…" smiled Rika, too tired to hide her humor, "That just happened."
"Indeed. Now we need to get Takato out of here before anything else happens," added Henry, their Digimon DeDigivolving, as they picked up Takato, then turned to their friends, "What happened?"
Kazu and Kenta had shown up with Jeri, bearing the unfortunate news.
"Well, after about five minutes after you left, we decided we couldn't stand around while you put yourselves in danger," said Kazu, "And don't give us those looks, we knew the risk. Anyways, on our way over here, Makuramon showed up, that freaky kid you were trying to warn us about, shut down whatever was happening above the building, and kidnapped Calumon. You saw what happened from there.
"No two ways about it," said Rika, glancing over at Renamon, who was carrying Guilmon with medium difficulties, "We ARE going to the Digital World, and we ARE getting OUR friend back."
The other three humans looked to her in awe, seeing her for the queen she was, the second-in-command when their leader was down. They would follow her, and Takato, to the Digital World to get back Calumon.
(AN10)
(Chapter End)
That took awhile, because I was trying to handle the length of the episode between the long drawn out portions and the awesome actual action portions. So yeah… this is what I ended up with. That being said; buckle up. Because we're finally, FINALLY, going to the Digital World NEXT TIME!
Author Notes: GO!
AN1: Something I'm working on that I hope will pay off late game. Trust me, the results from this will more than likely bring a smile to your face.
AN2: Leomon is a badass Digimon. Giving him a badass entrance should only help… right?
AN3: What? Just because Leomon is a badass doesn't mean it isn't HILARIOUS to watch him being chased by a girl like Jeri.
AN4: Kinda inspired by the Turbo Ranger movie, with Rita telling Divatox to run AWAY from the Power Rangers… I know some of you laughed, so DON'T DENY IT!
AN5: Jeri has some growing up to do, and it will play in later, as I've stated before.
AN6: A bit apropos, given that I'm sparing the Devas from Deletion.
AN7: You know it's ironic when something destructive is the power that's going to save you.
AN8: Kind of a Tony Stark-ish moment, wouldn't you say?
AN9: First step to maturity, being genuinely concerned for someone after getting over your fangirlism. It works here because the fangirl syndrome wasn't as severe as in other anime (cough, cough – Naruto – cough, cough)
AN10: Everyone knows Rika is the Digimon Queen. If she couldn't be leader in Takato's absence, something is wrong with the pecking order of the Tamers.
Okay, I do believe that's it until the next chapter: ENTERING THE DIGITAL WORLD!
So, until the next chapter of Spyro and the Signers!
Later,
