Sister of the Boy Who Lived

chapter 10

Harry and Hermione had been at the burrow for about a week when Molly announced that Bill and his Fiancée would be coming to stay for the summer as well.

"You all may remember her from Hogwarts," Molly said, "she was a Triwizard champion."

"Fleur?" Everyone asked at the same time.

"How can we not," Ginny groaned looking at Ron.

"I can't help it," Ron declared feebly.

"Morning all," Said a voice from the doorway. There was bill standing in the doorway. Behind him was Fleur Delacour , her little sister Gabrielle and Krum.

"I hope you don't mind," Fleur said, her accent wasn't as thick as it had been when she was at Hogwarts for the year, "mother asked me to keep her with me for a few weeks."

"Oh it's no problem at all," Molly gushed, "Is he staying as well?"

"If it's not much trouble," he said, his accent still thick, his voice still deep, "Fleur is old family friend, couch gave me time off for a few weeks."

"What about Quidditch?" Ron asked quickly.

Viktor chuckled before answering, "we are done for the season," he said humor still clear in his voice. "Though he still works us like, how you say... Dogs. Is this right saying?"

"Yes," Harry answered because most of the Weasley's were just staring at him. Most of them weren't familiar with Muggle phrases.

"Hermione," Viktor said in his thick Bulgarian accent laced with concern, "how are you?"

"I'm good," she said after a moment, and then she stepped forward to give him a hug. "it's good to see you."

"It is good to be seen," she replied, hugging her tightly. He whispered something into her ear, and she blushed as she pulled away from him.

While Ginny wanted to give them some space so they could catch up. Molly instead ushered them into the kitchen to sit down to dinner. After dinner was over, Molly showed Fleur and Gabrielle to their rooms while Arthur showed Viktor to his.

Over the next few weeks, Hermione, Ginny and the rest of the Weasley's bemoaned being around Fleur more than they had to. While she was nice, she was also attempting to suck up to miss Weasley by agreeing with everything that she said. Eventually thought after some advice from Bill and Viktor she stopped trying to please Molly and just acted like herself. While Hermione and Ginny tried they still couldn't get along with her. However Molly was starting to genuinely like the girl.

Viktor and Hermione spent as much time as they could together, he even attempted to teach her how to fly.

Though she constantly tried to get him to stop bothering her about flying, he managed to get her onto the broom. After being turned down so many times he was desperate, so he kissed her. After that she didn't fight him. After being in the air for a few minutes, Viktor noticed that she wasn't so bad a flying, she just lacked the confidence in herself, to do it successfully; but once she let herself go she was very good.

Many of the Weasley's watched as Hermione warmed to Viktor's advances. There was even a time when she tackled him the ground after poking fun at her. Of course the situation soon got out of hand, as he had flipped them over so he was on top. He held her hands captive above her head, and just as their lips were about to meet they were interrupted by Harry and Ron.

As the moment was ruined, they rose to their feet, and walked into the house her hand still clasped within his.

Viktor was sad to say goodbye to Hermione; but his break was over and he had to return to his Quidditch training.

"You'll write?" she asked, her muffled as her face was buried in his shoulder.

"Of course," He said without thinking, pulling her tighter into his body, "I will miss you my Miah, my love."

"I'll miss you to Viktor," Hermione said lifting her eyes up so she could see his face, "I don't want you to go."

"I must," he said as he bent down and kissed her, so throughly that not only did Hermione's knees buckle; but it also made Fleur, Ginny and even Molly weak in the knees. After the two of them pulled apart, he kissed her once more on the lips, "Stay safe."

"You too," she said trying not to hold him back. She knew he needed to leave, but she wanted to spend more time with him.

He hovered in the doorway for a second or two before he stepped out and disapperated with a 'Pop' the only proof he was there was the resounding silence in the kitchen.

"You alright sis?" Harry asked, resting his hand on her shoulder.

"Yes," her voice was quiet and cracked, "Yes," she said once again, her voice sounding more secure this time, "I'm fine Harry, we'll see him again soon. I just miss him already."

"I know," Harry said, hugging her.

"Shall we go flying," Ginny said trying to chance the subject. She was trying not to think about how she would like Harry to look at her the way Viktor was looking at Hermione.

Harry turned to look at Ginny, and he caught the look in her eyes. He thought for about how much he wanted her to be his; but how he would be putting her in danger by getting to close to her. Shrugging it off he answered, "Sure, How bout it Miah?"

"You guys go," Hermione said, looking between the two of them, "I think I'm going to catch up on some reading." Flying just wasn't the same without Viktor being there.

After Hermione disappeared to her room, Ginny, Ron, Harry and the twins started a game of Quidditch. Eventually when Bill returned home he joined it.

The rest of the summer passed slowly for most of the Weasley's. As Fred and George were only their part of the time, Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny were forced to find something to do with their time. Hermione eventually gave into Harry and Ginny's prodding to go flying. They even started a two on two game of Quidditch, they played Potter's vs Weasley's. In the end it was a draw, but they decided that the game needed to be played once a day at least if not more. Molly had to force them to the ground by threatening to not feed them.

The twins shop opened just in time for back to school shopping, which was a few weeks before the summer opened. When the Molly, Arthur, Remus and Tonks took the kids to do their shopping, their last stop was WWW. Molly was surprised at how much effort they actually put into it. Harry, Ron and Hermione managed to sneak away on Harry's worry that Draco Malfoy must be up to something.

They had seen Draco and his mother enter Nocturn alley, when they decided to follow him. They then saw them enter Borgin and Burkes. At a poor attempt to listen in, they weren't exactly able to tell what it was he was after. All the trip did was confirm Harry's thoughts that Draco must be up to something.

When the three of them returned, they pretended to be somewhere else in the store. Eventually the twins pulled them away to another part of the store.

The twins gave Harry and Hermione a couple of items to try for free. Fred told George that she didn't need the love potion as she had a boyfriend already. Word was that Hermione had more than one suitor as it was. They told Ginny that she didn't need them either as, word on the street was she was dating Dean Thomas.

"They can all go away," Hermione said, "I don't need em."

"Well then step this way," George motioned to Ginny and Hermione.

"We have something else you might be interested in," Fred said knowingly. They'd both seen how hard Hermione had taken it when Krum had to leave several weeks ago.

"What are they?" Hermione asked when Fred handed her the small box.

"Their patented day dreams," George said.

The twins tried to talk her into taking a box, to use at her leisure. She didn't want to at first, but then she thought that it might be good to relax at the end of the week instead of catching up on unnecessary reading.

Hermione sent a reply to Viktor's most recent letter, before the group left the burrow to head off to Kings Cross. It was with a clear conscious that they boarded the train. Seeing as Ron and Hermione were prefects, they were sent to the prefects carriage for the meeting.

Harry and Ginny, along with Neville and Luna waited for them, chatting a little about summer. However after Hermione and Ron's return to the carriage, he went for a walk, taking his invisibility cloak with him.

Hermione and Ron didn't see him again till around the time of the sorting. He wouldn't answer about where he was, and only asked what he had missed. Hermione and Ron shared a look which read, He's hiding something.

It didn't seem that the year was going to go as smoothly as they all hoped it would.

A/N: I know it's short, I promise that the next chapter will be more telling. Also if you've read any of my other Harry potter stories, I don't think this story will be quite as long as those. We still have a bit of a way to go yet. I hope to put some hilarity into this story, along with some more serious attempts at death attempts on characters. So you've been warned.

Please review. And thanks for reading, following and faving. You guys are wonderful.

P.S. I don't own Harry Potter.
