Meet the Deetz's

A few days later Xavier and his students watched as series of moving vans drove past. It was only a few minutes before Kurt confirmed that the neighbor on the other side of the Mansion was no being moved into as well.

"I do hope we don't scare them off." Hank sighed.

"Maybe we should invite them over." The suggestion came from Rogue of all people. It did not go unnoticed.

"Aren't you the anti-social one?" Karai, Wraith's daughter asked as she walked in with her father and brother. She wore a pink tutu and what could only be described as farming clothes.

"What are you today?" Xavier smiled. He had honestly started to like the two children despite knowing their little secret.

"Rancher Ballerina." She said flatly. "Where's Jamie; I gotta keep him safe when Trinity comes over."

"He's still asleep." Rogue smirked.

"Cool I'll wait in the living room." She gave a thumbs up.

"Father, you should see this." Rael, dressed in what had become the usual outfit of a green shirt and black pants, in obvious mimicry of his father's form said as he tried to show the Scion his phone.

"Boy-o, I don't need to see your new high score..." Wraith groaned. "Now go outside and play or something..."

"But..." Rael tried to insist. His father's glare quieted him. "Ok fine, be that way..." He shook his head as he left the kitchen. "HEY SIS, LET'S SETUP TRAPS FOR THE MISFITS!"

"I'll help!" Scott shouted out.

"So new neighbors." Wraith groaned.

"Regretting the new address?" Xavier smirked.

"No." Wraith grumbled. "Besides, We're visiting you today, remember." He smiled. Xavier's face faltered slightly.

"Right." Xavier sighed.

It was at that time the door bell rang.

"I got it..." Rogue shouted.

"What is making her so happy?" Xavier asked.

"Apparently she knows the girl moving in." Hank smiled. "Internet friends."

"Well then let's go say hello." Wraith smirked.

"Indeed." Xavier and Hank agreed.

When the three came around the corned from the kitchen however, Wraith could only star in shock.

"What in the name of all the twisted realms ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He roared in anger.
"PERFECTION! DM!"

The young woman smiled as she and her father drove onto their new property. Her stepmother led the convoy of their moving vans with her never fading smile. To be honest she was glad to get away from Peaceful Pines but it also hurt. She had lost contact with her best friend some years ago and wasn't able to let him know she was moving. Her biggest fear was that he somehow got back just as they left. She stretched as she got out of the car and smiled weakly to her dopey looking father. He wasn't always the smartest guy, in fact most of the time it was like the lights were turned off upstairs, but he was a good man and loved his family.

"Go on kiddo." He nodded towards the neighboring property. "Go see your friend, we got professionals for the move."

She smiled brightly then and dashed off into the distance as her step-mother pulled up and honked the horn on the moving van. She wanted to cut through the properties but a large wall cut her off. Not a surprise, her friend was a member of Xavier's school. So she followed it around, but was quite surprised to find a strange blue furred young man meeting her at the edge of the property.

"Hi!" He waved, "You're Rogue's friend?" He had a German accent and he seemed friendly.

"Yeah." She blinked for a moment before she remembered that Xavier's was a home for mutants. "I don't mean to stare but..."

"Yeah I know." He smiled. "Well Rogue asked me to bring you to the door."

"Oh, thank you!" She smiled and took his offered hand.

"Ok, don't be afraid, but I'm about to teleport us." The young man smiled. "By the way my name is Kurt."

"Oh, you're Rogue's brother that lives with her!" She smiled.

"Bingo!" Kurt smiled as he bamfed right to the front door.

"Oh!" The girl smiled. "Well that was fun!"

"Yeah, sorry about the smell though." He seemed embarrassed.

"Oh don't worry, I have a stunted sense of smell." She smiled and rung the door bell before turning to look at him again. "Oh we could go..."

"Oh, nein, she would kill me if I let you go in without letting her see you first." Kurt look terrified at the thought.

Moments later the door swung open and Rogue, covered head to toe in clothing grabbed her online friend in a hug. "LYDIA DEETZ!" She shouted.

"Rogue, I need to breathe please!" Lydia gasped as her friend let her go. She was surprised by her friend's strength.

Lydia was then pulled into the house where she saw two younger children sitting on opposite couches. Both of them looked to her, the young girl seemed to go pale while the boy just shrugged. She never noticed the young girl mouthing something to the boy. Rogue however did.

"What's wrong?" Rogue asked, her face crossed with annoyance.

That was when Wraith, Xavier and Hank came around the corner.

Moments after Wraith bellowed two forms appeared right beside him as he marched towards the girl. Rogue instantly put herself between her two friends, not knowing what was going on.

"HOW?!" Perfection shrieked as he saw who Rogue was hiding. "WHEN?!"

"It's not possible." DM stared in confusion. "I mean it's not in this dimension is it?"

"What's going on?" Lydia asked, almost completely unfazed by the sudden appearance of two new people from nowhere.

"You, Lydia Deetz, should not exist here." Wraith glowered as he paced. "I should have felt the realm when we arrived the first time."

"Maybe it happened while we were away." DM suggested. "I mean it's not easy to hide an entire realm!"

"He's right." Perfection said looking to Xavier as if to explain their behavior. "I mean Outworld's not here we know that. I'm pretty sure you checked for the Neitherworld when we got here the first time!"

This caught Lydia's attention. "How do you know about the Neitherworld."

Wraith stopped his pacing. The two children immediately got up and bolted out of the room as the temperature plummeted. Wraith's human form melted away to revel the specter beneath it, his glowing eyes and all. "Why shouldn't Death know where the dead hide."

"Oh." Lydia seemed to take it in stride. Then her brow furrowed as walked up and began to assault the ghostly form. Though the attacks merely passed through him. Wraith merely shook his head.

"Uh, Lydia?" Rogue asked, now confused.

"WHERE IS HE?" Lydia barked. "WHERE'S B.J.?"

"Calm down." Perfection smirked as he popped into existence next to her while maintaining his form near Xavier. The new copy moved her to the couch before rejoining his normal form. "Wraith is probably just as curious about that as you are."

"I think I need an explanation." Xavier said. "What is the NeitherWorld for instance?"

"In most worlds it's a realm of the dead souls go to hide from Reapers, sometimes it's a sanctuary and sometimes it's just the land of the dead." Wraith explained. "Lydia is friends with one of it's more powerful and insane inhabitants."

"It's strange..." Perfection grimaced. "I know it was popular culture here at one point."

"Doesn't matter now." DM frowned. "It's real and now someone has cut it off."

"How long has he been gone?" Wraith asked the young woman. "How old are you?"

"He's been gone 3 years." Lydia explained, he face suddenly going sad. "I'm 16 now. It happened when I turned 13." As she spoke the temperature returned to normal.

"What did?" Wraith asked, realizing he had some sort of lead.

"This weird sorcerer guy sealed off the Neitherworld." Lydia sighed.

"Describe him." Wraith said, his voice softening as he resumed his human form.

"He was tall, had some gray in his hair and this really long red cape..." Lydia shut her eyes to recall the image burned into her brain.

"Oh no..." Xavier sighed. "This will not end well."

"Hey he couldn't have known at the time." DM shrugged, "We'll just pop over, explain..."

"STRANGE!" Wraith bellowed as a dark swirling portal formed behind him and he walked through.

"Or you could be Wraith and barge into his Sanctum Sanctorum." Perfection nodded to DM with a humorous look. "You wanna talk him down?"

"Do I look stupid?" DM said as he stared at the spot the portal had been.

"Should I be getting my lawyers?" Xavier asked, more than a little confused.

"Why?" Perfection asked. "This is all him."

"What do we have on today's agenda?" Doctor Stephen Strange asked as his young student brought in a spell book.

"Well I was looking over..." Amanda stopped as a swirling portal opened behind her teacher. "Doctor..."

Doctor Strange spun to find himself nearly eyeball to glowing eye orb of the Scion of Death.

"I thought I made it clear that non of the realms of death were to fall into the category of 'not your business'." Wraith growled as two skeletal hands shot from his robes and grabbed the Sorcerer Supreme's hands. "WHERE IS THE SEAL ON THE NEITHERWORLD?"

Doctor Strange for his part remained stone calm, even as the Scion dropped the temperature and sealed the room off from the rest of the Sanctorum. He met the Scion's glare with his own.

"That was before your time." Strange growled back as he wrenched his hands free. He then noticed the Scion's robes were not their usual green, but had turned to a deathly black and he could just barely make out the form of a skull beneath the now tattered hood.

"Do not test me Strange." Wraith's eyes were now a solid glowing white. "This reality has much to answer to me for; from my reaper to the consistent returns from the realms of the dead. I will not tolerate the balance being shifted by an entire realms worth!" The Scion of Death, for once was well and truly angry.

"I did what I had to, the girl interacting with it..." Strange then found the blade of a sword against his neck.

"You call yourself qualified..." Wraith's hood fell back and the skull beneath revealed itself, not that of just a human, but of every species in existence, it shifted between the forms constantly. "...Sorcerer Supreme..." The form growled and was about to draw the blade straight across the sorcerer's neck when a hand was on his shoulder. He calmed, reverting almost immediately and as his form faded into his human self Strange could see the glowering form of Karma, Scion of Balance. The human form of Wraith merely panted in exhaustion.

"Your husband..." Strange tried to get out.

"Shut up." She muttered. "You knew when he arrived to surrender all information of Death to him." Her eyes held no emotion for the Sorcerer. "I swear everyone here thinks they can mange EVERYTIHNG without us. At one time you could have, but we're here now and we're the ones who have to take responsibility for things you shouldn't have had too." She did not stop. "That 'girl', by the way, is more powerful and more skilled with her own natural talents then you could ever hope to see. You think dear Amanda will be something, wait until you see what that girl is capable of."

"Are you finished." Strange glared at the Scions.

"The location." Wraith growled as he stood upstraight, but his human form was warped, pale gray and his eyes still glowed white. "Now."

Strange caught his breath and went to his desk and pulled out a book. He wrote down something on a paper and handed it to the Scion of Death.

"You could have come peacefully."

"You knew what you had to do." Wraith's eyes faded back to their normal cyan. "I suggest you get me the rest of any other seals like this."

"And please remember the Dead, whether invading or not do not concern you anymore." Karma reminded the Sorcerer. She turned and walked into her own swirling portal, Wraith followed.

"Are you okay Amanda?" Strange turned to his student who was merely wide-eyed and shocked.

"Did you just stand up to a Scion?" She asked meekly.

"It's my job as Sorcerer Supreme." He grunted as he sat down. "Although he was really angry for some reason."

"Maybe I should ask Kurt?" Amanda asked.

"I'm not sure if that's a good idea." He shook his head.

"So why didn't you give him that seal?" Amanda asked.

"I suspect you will be learning of that soon enough." The Sorcerer Supreme sighed as he rubbed his forehead. "Let's just say the Misfits are about to get serious competition, from a single being."

AN: Ah, Wraith and his protective nature of the dead. He's gonna regret that.
