Thank you for all the favorites, followers and the reviews. Your reviews make me want to hurry and write another chapter for you guys. Therefore, this is mainly an Edward and Bella fic but I am going to be adding a lot of Emmett and Rose.

Chapter 10

EPOV

Watching the ambulance drive off with my wife inside felt as if someone had reached in my chest; and was pulling out my heart with their bare hands.

Pulling on my pant leg was Mason. "Daddy, where are they taking mommy?" He asks looking more scared then I would ever like my child to feel.

Picking him up I tell him "Their taking mommy to the hospital to make sure her and your baby sister are okay."

"We go to?"

"Yea buddy, first though we need to call your grandpa Charlie and let him know what's going on."

Dialing Charlie's cell I am hoping he isn't too busy to take my call. I let the phone ring about 6 times before leaving a message that Bella was being taken; to the hospital and for him to call as soon as possible.

Sending off a text to Alice I grab Mason and jog out to the car hoping to get to the hospital about the time the ambulance does.

Hospital

Running to the waiting room, I see my parents already sitting there. "Hey has the doctor been out yet?" I asked the torn between wanting the answer to be yes or no.

"No not yet baby." My mom says coming to hug me and to take Mason.

Looking to my dad, I ask; "Is that good or bad?"

"Not sure son it could mean there's nothing seriously wrong or it could mean something else entirely." He tells me looking worried as well.

"I need to call Dr. Roy and let him know what's going on."

"He's already been called dear I had your dad do that when we got here."

"Thanks mom you always have my back." I tell her dropping a kiss to her head. I make my way to a chair and drop my head in my hands I began to pray for my wife and daughter. Before I know it Bella's and my past starts replaying through my head, and I start to cry.

"Oh baby." I hear my mom say; looking up at her, I see her hand Mason off to my father and come to sit next to me taking me in her arms as she did when I was a child.

"I can't lose her mom either one of them it would kill me." I tell her leaning in to her arms the best I could.

"No you won't Edward, Bella is a strong woman she'll be just fine so will your daughter. If anything ever did happen to them don't forget you still have an amazing little boy that will need you just as much as you'll need him."

"I know; I'm just scared ma."

"I know baby."

"Mr. Cullen."

Looking up I see the Doctor coming towards me. "Doctor is my wife and daughter okay?"

"Your wife is in a room waiting to see Dr. Roy why don't you go on back with her." He tells me not giving any indication whether they were okay or not.

Inside Bella's Hospital Room

Walking in the room, I have to stop and let my eyes adjust to the darkness of the room. Finally being able to see I look at Bella and can see the tear tracks on her face.

"Oh baby." Hurrying to her side, I run my hand down the side of her face and ask, "Are you okay? Has the Doctor told you anything yet?

"No, Dr. Roy is supposed to come and let me know after he checks me over." Leaning in to my hand, she kisses my palm.

Looking down at her my heart still feels heavy, "Are you scared?" I ask know that I myself am completely terrified right now.

"Yea I am. I hope I haven't lost her Edward."

Wiping away the fresh set of tears, I remember what my mother said in the waiting room. "I don't think we've lost her, you want to know why?"

With a nod and a hitch in her voice, she asks "Why?"

Placing my hand on her stomach over where I know my daughter still lays I tell her "Because if she is anything like her mother then she is a fighter and she can and will pull through this."

"Yea," Nodding her head, she looks at me hopefully.

"Yea, baby." Leaning down to kiss her, a knock at the door interrupts us.

"Come in."

Dr. Roy comes in and is looking over what I assume is Bella's folder.

"How are you feeling Bella?" He asks her while writing something down.

"I am a little scared." She tells him watching every move of his hand.

"Okay, well I can understand that. Well I have some good news and some bad news."

Grabbing Bella's hand we wait for him to elaborate.

"Good news is you haven't lost the baby. Bad news is you are showing signs of having high blood pressure, which can cause many troubles during your pregnancy if you are not careful. Now the hospital is going to keep you over night to keep an eye on things and release you tomorrow morning. Until we can make sure both you and the baby aren't at risk I want you to come see me every two weeks."

"I have a question. What can be causing her not to show more than what she is?" I ask him.

"Well when Bella came to see me she had been sick and she had said she wasn't able to keep anything down which I believe is why she isn't showing like when she was pregnant with your son."

"Do you think that can cause problems for her and the baby?"

"Well I think right now they're both okay and the scan the ER Doctor did when they brought Bella in didn't show anything we should worry about but Bella needs to get her appetite back and then more than likely she will start showing more like she should be."

We thank Dr. Roy and I walk him to the door thanking him again and shake his hand.

The Next Morning

"So far everything seems to be okay." Dr. Roy tells us checking the monitor and the charts. "And here is your little ones heartbeat."

The sound comes in the room and Bella's and my eyes fill with tears. Bella puts her hand down on her arms and closes her eyes.

"You okay baby?" I ask worried something is wrong.

"We're perfect Edward." She says smiling at me.

"So I am going to release you but I want you to take it easy for the next few days and remember I want to see you every two weeks to make sure everything is progressing the way it should. Also in your 24 week we will do another scan to check on the sex of the baby."

"I have a feeling it's a girl." She tells him smiling as if nothing could stop her now.

At Edward and Bella's House

"It feels so good to be home." Bella says walking in the door. Looking around she stops and asks, "Where is Mason?"

"He's with Alice and Jasper." I stop talking when I hear something from the living room, "Stay here." I tell her going to check it out. Walking in the living room, I see Emmett and Charlie sitting down.

"How did you get here?" I ask Charlie before letting Bella know its fine to come in.

"Dad what are you doing here."

"Edward called and left a message for me and as for how I got here Emmett came and picked me up." He says answering both Bella and I.

"Thank you Emmett." Bella tells him walking over to hug him.

"Yea thank you Em. Why don't you two stay here and I'm going to help Bella get in bed." I tell them.

Coming back down the stairs, I only see Emmett. "Where's Charlie?"

"He went to put his stuff in the guest room. Look man I'm sorry if I'm the reason Bella had to be taken to the hospital."

"Bella had to be taken because she was too stressed, do I think some of it was cause by you, yes but not all of it." "Look man why don't you and Rose look into adoption?"

"We have in fact a while back we met with a pregnant girl and she decided to choose us but last night after having the baby she and her boyfriend decided to keep it."

"Jesus Em I am so sorry. How is Rose taking it?"

"She won't get out of the bed, Edward I am scared I'm slowly losing my wife."

You guessed it she did not lose the baby it was just stress, I am not that mean lol. Dr. Roy is a real Doctor just in a different field. Who loves the relationship between Edward and Esme? Emmett is blaming himself and is trying to fix it. Edward does not put all the blame on Emmett but I wonder if he also blames himself for some of it. Do you want more Emmett and Rose or, stick purely with Edward and Bella?
