Here is the next chapter for "Cursed but Loved" and I hope you guys will like it even though it's late.

"Why not? Can't I spend a night at my fiancee's abode?" Kaname asked the silverette as he went ahead into Zero's quarters when the said male didn't get to open it. The pure blood sat himself on Zero's bed, taking into his hands a book that was bookmarked by the silverette himself. "You read poetry?"

"I find it interesting." Zero simply said, closing the door behind him and seating himself just beside the pure blood, taking the book from his hands and reading a short sonnet aloud.

"Noblesse oblige:" it was a simple creed,
Forgotten now, that who preferred a claim
To life more honored than the general name
Should give it for the general good at need:
And from this outworn faith arose a breed
Of men who sickened at the thought of shame,
Whose swords, kept bright by use, were fire to tame
On England's soil the growth of waste and weed.
He who has once loved truly is a knight,
Knows deep down in his heart heroic worth,
And pins upon his crest a lady's glove.
Him shall you not turn back in the grim fight:
Uncover and own then, ye who prate of birth,
The untitled aristocracy of Love."

"Do you even understand what you've been reading?" Kaname asked. It was all he could ask since he didn't even listen to a single word the silverette had said about the poem. He was just so focused about how gracefully the silverette's mouth was formed as each word came out. The ring of his voice sounded like an angel's in Kaname's ears.

"Of course I do. It's just difficult to explain." Zero huffed, closing the book and placing it back on the night stand where he had last left it at. "Anyways, if you're going to spend the night, I'll have Yuya take you to the guest's room and give you an extra pair of sleep wear." Zero sighed, standing up and on his way to the door.

"But, I want to sleep here with you." Had the silverette think of another meaning to that, he would be getting all blush-y and restless. But, since he still has a hint of innocence inside of him, he went with the real meaning.

"Then I'll just have Yuya prepare a futon for you here." Zero had his hand on the door knob when his actions were stopped by the pure blood's next saying.

"Can't we share your bed?" The pure blood practically watched the silverette march back to where he was and give him a little bop to the head.

"Won't happen." Zero rejected out flatly.

"Ow, and just when I thought I could finally have some lovey-dovey time with you." Kaname said truthfully, rubbing the slightly sore spot on his head that the silverette had made.

"You idiot." Slight embarrassment laced the tone that Zero was using. His cheeks were a slightly flushed pink. Just the mere thought of seeing himself having some lovey-dovey time with the pure blood wasn't disgusting but rather... unsettling.

"Zero, Yuya-san said that there weren't any extra 'guest' night wear so he just lent me your pajamas." Kaname said in a monotonous tone, presenting himself to the silverette with what he wore. Kaname had on a light blue pair of pajamas that had cute little designs of the constellations on them. "I didn't know that you were into these kind of designs." The tone changed into something that sounded really amused.

"Hmm?" When the silverette looked up from what he was reading, he nearly laughed. Just a few moments ago, the silverette had finished up in getting read for bed, Yuya already having instructed the pure blood into changing too while he had his futon ready. "You look adorable in those, Kaname." Zero had to muffle one of his laughs with his hands because he was worried he would sound rather weird.

"You telling me that I look adorable isn't supposed to be. These are yours aren't they?"

"Yes, Cross gave them to me but I never wore them." Zero continued to laugh. It was merely a coincidence that Yuya had given Kaname these pajamas but the silverette was surely thankful for his butler's little mistake. He hadn't laughed this hard since... forever?

"Jeez, I don't look cute. Just imagine how scarred my pride would be if everyone else saw me like this and commented that I looked cute." Kaname held his chin high then sighed, rubbing at his temples before he walked to where the futon was.

"Oh you pure bloods and your damn pride." Zero smirked, laying down on his stomach so that he could see Kaname's now sitting form with no need to bend over. "You should take that thing down a couple notches and be more normal like us."

"However, you guys still have your pride, or am I wrong?" Kaname asked, plopping himself on futon pillow with his hands behind his head.

"Everyone has their pride, Kaname. I'm no exception. I'm just saying that some people have too much of it."

"Are you saying that I have too much pride?"

"It's not that." Zero quickly defended himself. He didn't want to start a fight that he didn't want. "I'm just saying that pride is something that can be called 'what your forte is/it's what makes you who you are' and 'your downfall'. I mean, that's what my thoughts about it are." Zero continued. "Don't get me wrong, Kaname. I'm not saying this to offend you. Heck, I don't want to have a quarrel with my fiancee."

"I get it, and no, I'm not a offended so no need to worry." Kaname offered a small smile to reassure the silverette. "But, what gets to me was how you answered. It's like you know a lot of things because of poetry."

"Hey, what's this got to do with poetry?" Zero shot a halfhearted glare towards the pure blood.

"Never mind. Anyways, are you sure that you don't want to share your bed with me-" Before the pure blood could even finish what he wanted to say, the silverette had jumped inside his covers and hid.

"No thank you. Good night, Kaname." Zero stated out. His voice sounded a little bit muffled to the pure blood's hearing but Kaname could understand anyway. The said brunette chuckled.

"Alright, alright. But before you go to sleep, give me a kiss good night will you?"

"What?! No!" Zero was blushing under the covers from what the pure blood had requested.

"I'll get into your bed and sleep on you if you won't." Kaname challenged. He wasn't really going to sleep on the silverette if he wouldn't kiss the pure blood but he just wanted to see whether the silverette would do what he requested in exchange for his safety of getting crushed. "Here. I'll close my eyes and I'll wait for one minute. If I don't feel something on my lips, you better make room for me."

Shit.. what am I going to do? Should I? Zero was having mixed emotions inside of him. He didn't know that Kaname wouldn't actually do it but, being the more naive among the two, he took the bait. It's just one little kiss on the lips right? One kiss and I'll then get a good night's rest.

"15 seconds has passed." Zero heard Kaname say.

Damn, he really is counting! Okay! It's now or never! Zero decided and quietly got out of his covers and on the futon where Kaname was laying down on. Kneeling right beside him, the silverette slowly leaned down, hesitating at first but doing it anyway. As he inched closer, he could feel his face heating up all the more.

A few moments later, Kaname felt a pair of lips on his own just for a second before it pulled away. Instantly opening his eyes and seeing the silverette's retreating form, the brunette pulled the silverette by his arm and making him fall on the futon with Kaname hovering above him.

"I didn't think that you would actually do that." Kaname's eyes were amused and he inwardly licked his lips at the sight before him. Zero was underneath him.

"K-kaname?" Zero's cheeks were beet red as he stared up at the pure blood. He was surprised that he was pulled down and now, Kaname was cowering above him. Was that kiss not called for?

"I changed my mind. I'm going to have a little taste of you before I go to sleep."
