To iamwriter and jameni I just wanted to say that your reviews made a gigantic smile appear on my face. Have you seen the new bones season yet? Totally awesome!
"Bones I'm calling to get a trace on that number," Booth said.
"No Booth. You won't find him," Brennan said tired.
"And why the hell not?" Booth asked defiantly.
"Because he disappeared twelve years ago," she responded. That startled Booth.
"Was his body ever found?"
"Yea. Dental and fingerprints. But they weren't necessary because he died from a stab wound to the brain. He died instantaneously."
"Oh," was all Booth could say. "Well as soon as I look into his file I'll tell you what I come up with. I will protect you Bones." Bones shook her head sadly.
"No Booth. I'm protecting you. My failed actions lead to strict consequences. These are my burdens to bear. And I will not allow you or anyone else to come in harms way. And that is why I'm ending this." Booth swallowed. Something about this wasn't right. What was she planning to do?
"What are you going to do Bones?"
"I'm going to finish it."
It had been mere seconds after Bones had disappeared to Limbo when Booth decided to do a follow up on her foster family. Something wasn't right and he didn't need his gut to tell him that. James you're going down.
Brennan walked slowly into Limbo. The exhaustion and mental components of everything going on was causing her brain to slow down and subsequently affect her work. Limbo had helped every other case. Why not this one?
"Dr. Brennan!" a voice came shouting from the stairs.
"Yes?" It was her intern, Wendall Bray.
"Dr. Hodgins said he needs you to look at something."
"Of course. I will be right up." Well so much for peace and quiet Bones thought. She quickly began making her way to Hodgins office though.
"Dr. Hodgins?"
"Yea Dr. B?"
"What was I called in for?" Her tone was curt but she hadn't meant to sound offense.
"The particulates on this paper you gave me contain the same particles as our victim out there. Also it contains particulates from this state too." Hodgins obviously didn't care about her tone.
"So he was near her at time of death," Brennan whispered.
"Dr. B I think we have a new suspect. Who is this guy anyways?"
"He is an evil man who abuses woman. But he cannot be a suspect."
"Why not? Is he in jail or something?"
"No. He's dead."
Booth was looking into the James Mortar file. He had been arrested for domestic abuse but that was his for his wife. She had divorced him after Bones had left their house. It seemed that he was charged with abuse of Bones too. For that he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Apparently, his wife had been pregnant but left near her due date. She had diseappered when their victim did too. That was a strange coincidence. Her child had never seen its father either apparently. She had left after her divorce to go live in Utah though.
Something about her disappearance made Booths gut feel funny. Like there was something there he was completely missing. Booth decided to go check up on the wife and child. Interrupting his work, his cell phone rang. Picking it up without looking he answered.
"Booth."
"Booth! Help me! He's got me at 7100 Abernath! He said he's going to kill me!" Booths heart froze. Perspiration poured down his face.
"Bones? Where are you? Who's got you?"
"James got me. He took me to a house. He doesn't know I have my phone. You have to save me," she whispered hoarsely.
"I'm coming Bones. Try and stay alive till I get there ok?" The phone clicked shut. Booth flew out of the office to go save his girl.

Bones' phone rang. She had been in her office going through files and medical reports.
"Dr. Brennan," she politely answered.
"Hello. This is a strange man calling to tell you that you won a trip to watch two men die. Now how would you like to redeem your prize," an electronic voice asked. Bones was frozen to her couch.
"I-I'm sorry? Could you repeat that?" Did someone really just call her to tell her that a double homicide was going to take place?
"I said ,Tempe, Who would you prefer dies first: Booth or Hodgins?" James asked coldly. Temperance was angry. Someone had kidnapped Booth again, and called her? Did they have a death wish? Well she was going to give them their final wish.
"Where are we meeting James?"
"Ahh. You thought you could save Agent Booth huh? Alright then. If you wish to be the knight who charges so gallantly through the front door and blows them to shit, then go to 7100 Abernath. If you prefer to save both, go through the back door. Let's see how long it takes for me to win this game."
"James I promise that I will kill you. I own a gun and we all know how to pull off a murder perfectly."
He chuckled. "Oh sweet Temperance. This is about a lot more than just you. I made a promise to a certain girl- *cough cough* Hannah's a bitch *cough cough*- and I intend on keeping it. So for all things pleasant why don't you just ask Angela to trace the call, come through the back door, and save Booth alright? Actually I never really kidnapped Hodgins it was just more fun to mess with you. See you in ten cutie!"
Bones rang into Angelas office.
"Ange can you run a number for me?"
"Sure what is it? And why are you panting?"
"Booth. James got Booth." As soon as she said it aloud the realization hit her. "I have to go. I have a gun so i should be fine. If Booth calls tell him I know what the penalty is for murder."
"Bren wait! Where are you going? Brenn! Who's got Booth!?"
Bones stopped in the doorway. "Ange", she said in a calm voice. "You and everyone in here are my family. Max and Parker too. It is in our nature to protect our family. Even if something bad happens to us, the female must protect her family. So I will protect you and bring Booth home. I swear."
"Sweetie. Look at me." Brennan turned. Tears were falling from her eyes.
"What's happening?"
"I'm leaving Ange. For a long time."
