Chapter 9: Realize
Well guys this is the last update for this story as you can see above ^^ Completed. It's been fun writing for you guys and I thank all my loyal followers and commenters. So now the moment you've all been waiting on the final chapter of Once Upon A Dream.
Wow. How could I have been this dumb and naïve? I was laughing and crying at the same time. Crying, because I finally found him and he felt the same way. Laughing, because I wasn't smart enough to realize that I never stopped liking Mako. I was trying to get over him with the hope of my mystery guy, only to realize that I had never stopped liking him, whether I would admit it or not. Good job Kora, you're an excellent judge of character.
I had to tell him I felt the same way. But not today, today was just too much. At any rate I bet he's still moping over not getting to play. I'd do it in the morning.
Mako's POV
I sighed.
"What's wrong Bro? Still bummed about the match?" Bolin asked
"Sure…." I said looking out towards Air Temple Island
She's probably read the letter by now. So there's two outcomes: either she's creeped out and never wants to see me again or by some miracle she slightly in some universe likes me back. Although after all I've put her through, I don't deserve her to like me. Maybe I should go to her and explain. No. She's had a hard enough day. Tomorrow.

Korra's POV
I don't know which I wanted to happen first, waking up, or going to Mako. Too bad my personal alarm clock made the choice for me already.
"KOOOOOORRRRRAAAA!" Three high pitched voices screamed
"Korra! That handsome firebender boy you used to talk about is here!" Jinora shouted
At that, I shot up.
"Thanks Jin!" I said while shooing them out the door
I barely had any time to fix my appearance. I just brushed through my hair twice and ran out of the room. He was standing in the courtyard facing the harbour with his hands in his pockets. I rolled my eyes. Typical Mako pose. (A/N Don't lie you rolled your eyes too :D)
I decided to sneak up on him. I walked up behind him and turned his head towards me.
"Ko-"
I didn't let him finish. I pressed my lips lightly against his but it gradually got harder.
Sometimes, the best things in life are not represented by words, but by actions. They also say that dreams are the windows to your soul. So I was going to let my soul speak for me, and it was right!
Ta-da! There's your fairytale ending. If only everything had a fairytale ending. Well it doesn't So this is my last fanfic until holidays! I'll try to have some new developments coming! Love you all!
