Eden didn't know where to go. Today turned into an utter disaster and it left her with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. When most people found out devastating information like she was told today by Cherry and Kip, they were sad, crying was normal, but for Eden she only felt anger. It was clear she was angry from the fact that she slapped her ex boyfriend and berated her father, something she would never do until now. For the past hour, the youngest Morrow drove around the highway from Charming to Lodi to Stockton. If her parents, or anyone from SAMCRO, found out she was driving to those towns alone they would flip their shit, since they happen to have gang enemies in those towns respectively. Eden didn't have a choice though; she wasn't Jax who had his little spot on the roof above Teller Morrow where he did all his broody deep thinking. The next best thing she had to collect her thoughts was her beloved Jeep.
It was around 7 o'clock at night when Eden realized she needed to stop driving and start doing. She had to be at Jamie's house in an hour to get ready for Josh's party tonight. Jamie was all for Eden changing her mind about the party, but she didn't know why. They may have been best friends for over a decade, but the blonde teenager was often in the dark about Eden's family. She of course knew the basics like everyone else in Charming did, but there had to be some discretion between the two friends. Plus, she didn't want to tell her best friend about her man whore ex boyfriend and father, it would put a damper on the night. Unfortunately, she knew she had to go home. She had to get clothes for the party tonight, plus she promised Jamie she'd supply the weed for the night since her friend was strapped for cash. As she drove down her street, she prayed that no one was home. Hoping her parents was at Teller Morrow or focused on something else. She knew if they were home, there would hell to pay. She was still pissed at her father, but she was also worried since she berated him in front of the Sons. There was a level of respect between the two Morrows that Eden knew never to cross, he was her father and he was in charge of the family and what she did earlier was something that was not allowed, but of course she didn't care right now.
When she pulled into her driveway she immediately saw her Mom's Caddy in the driveway. She sucked in a breath as she twisted the ignition. Her goal was that she was hoping her mother was passed out or something so Eden could slip in quickly and grabbed the things she needed and head out without speaking to anyone. When she twisted the keys into the front door and opened it, the house was quiet, so quiet that the damn bird wasn't squawking. She ran quickly into her room and grabbed her duffle bag out of her closet and quickly threw her black skirt, a red shirt and her leather jacket with the weed in the pocket. As she zipped up her duffle bag, she swung it around her shoulder and when she looked up, she saw her mother leaning against the door frame, cigarette in hand.
"Where you headed off?" Gemma asked
Eden just stared at her mother, studying her, in a way Gemma herself did when she was sizing people up, to see if they can be trusted. Like mother, like daughter.
"Staying at Jamie's tonight." Eden replied curtly, she was eyeing her mother curiously, seeing if she knew about the showdown with Clay earlier.
"Clay called." Gemma said "Told me what happened on the lot today. I assume you know about why Apple is here."
"Cherry." Eden corrected "As much as I'd like to talk about this, I'm gonna pass." she replied bitterly. She tried to walk by her mother, but the matriarch wasn't budging, in more ways than one.
"We need to talk about this." Gemma protested
"Seriously?" Eden remarked, getting angry. "What is there to say Mom? That Dad is liar who preaches about family at the table, but then when he's not with his family he beds girls who aren't that much older than me?"
"You know the rules of this life. We never left you in the dark about that. You made your own assumptions about what your father does on runs." Gemma accused
"Seriously? That's your defense? Dad can step out with random women because a group of old men made that the rules decades ago? You know how fucked up that sounds?" Eden shouted
"Don't you swear at me young lady! I am your mother and your father is my husband and how we conduct our marriage is between us and only us."
"You might wanna tell him that he's your husband since he seems to forget that."
Before she could finish that last word. Gemma retracted her hand back and slapped her daughter in the face. The second her palm connected with Eden's face, her head snapped back. She brought her cold palm against her stinging cheek.
The look on Gemma's face made it clear that she was shocked that she struck her own child. Eden rapidly blinked. She couldn't believe that happened either.
"Baby…"Gemma trailed off. "I didn't mean it."
Gemma expected her daughter to be in tears because of the slap, but instead Eden had a hard look on her face. As if she closed off every emotion.
"The women who raised me wouldn't let her man step out on her because of a rule, no matter what. I'm going to Jamie's and I don't know when I'll be home." Eden said with no emotion and moved past Gemma and left the house, slamming the door in her wake.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
"So what was the sudden change about coming tonight. You've been acting weird since you got here, something's up." Jamie prodded as she was curling her hair.
"Just wanted to hang out with my best friend is all." Eden replied nonchalantly.
Jamie rolled her eyes "Uh huh sure. You and biker boy in a fight?"
Eden turned away from the mirror and eyed her best friend. "Why do you think that?"
"'Cause you turned your phone off and since you've been with him you guys constantly text. What did he do? It's always the guys that do something stupid."
"He's an asshole."
Jamie chuckled "Well that's descriptive. But seriously tell me what happened."
Eden sighed. She knew she had to give some tidbit of information to Jamie. all the while not giving up too much about her family's lifestyle. It was always hard to find a good in between. "Some chick Kip hooked up with before came to town today…looking for him."
"No fucking way." Jamie admonished, "Why would she do that? I hope you set her straight."
Eden shrugged "I don't know. She kept babbling about how they made a connection and she started saying shit to get to me and before I knew it my hand was around her throat and she was pinned against my Jeep."
Jamie eyes went wide "Oh my god, you really are your mother."
Eden shot Jamie a dirty look. Her mother was another person on her list on people she didn't want to think or talk about. "Yeah and then I find out earlier that they kissed. I'm done with him. I do not put up with a cheater."
"What an asshole." Jamie remarked. "Good riddance though. Clearly older guys aren't as mature as they make out to me. Good thing Josh is having a party tonight."
Eden nodded, turning back the mirror with her makeup. "Yeah I could use a beer or sixteen tonight."
"I mean yes alcohol is a plus, but this is the perfect occasion for a rebound. Find a guy at the party who's hot and just do your thing with him, no string attached."
"Yeah right." Eden scoffed. "I don't think hooking up with another guy is gonna do me any good. All I want to do right now is punch the nearest guy in the face, and maybe the junk area too."
"Please don't do that tonight." Jamie begged
"I'll try to restrain myself."
"Good." Jamie said with a nod. "As I was saying. You are gonna dress sexy tonight like you always do and we're gonna drunk and have fun with our friends and if you happen to find a hot guy you want to make out with, do it."
"Don't hold your breath." Eden muttered.
"You almost ready?" Jamie asked. She stood up from her bed and smoothed her tight black dress that left little to the imagination.
"Yeah, I'm good." Eden said, standing up as well in a tight black body con skirt and a tight lacy red shirt to match.
"Perfect. Celebratory shot to start the night?" Jamie asked, handing her a shot glass with cheap vodka in it. After Eden graciously took the shot glass they both looked at each other with a mischievous grin. "Lets toast to having a fun night and being the badass seniors we always knew we would be."
Eden lifted her shot glass. "And a big screw you to every guy with a penis."
"Unless we like them, then we screw them." Jamie corrected. And with that the girls laughed and clinked shot glasses right before they knocked back the vodka.
Oh it was going to be a good night.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
"Eden!" Clay bellowed as he stormed into the house and closed the front door with a loud slam. "Eden!" he called again. He needed to talk to his daughter about what happened today. He still was pissed about the things she said to him.
"Hey you said you would go easy on her." Jax said, striding in behind his stepfather. He saw what happened on the lot today, hell everybody did, and he knew Eden was hot headed and so was Clay about the whole situation. Sure this wasn't his house anymore, but he felt it was his duty to be the peacemaker between the father and daughter.
"I told you to stay outta this." Clay pointed out.
"I'm just here to make sure Unser and Hale aren't called here 'cause of a domestic disturbance. That's the last thing we need." Jax reasoned
"Where the hell is she?" Clay asked, searching through the house, ignoring what Jax said.
"She's not here." answered a voice.
Both Jax and Clay looked up to see Gemma standing there, holding an almost empty glass of what had to be whiskey.
"'The hell did she go?" Clay demanded
"She's staying at Jamie's tonight."
"And you just let her leave?" Clay accused
"Don't blame her for not wanting to be in this happy household for the night." Gemma said
Jax, always being the mediator when it came to the club and his family, stepped in between the fighting married couple. "Look, she's obviously hot headed right now and needs some space. Just let her be with her friends tonight and sort this out tomorrow. She'll call me if she needs anything she knows that.
Gemma and Clay just stood there for a couple seconds in the silence, before they both begrudgingly muttered, "Fine."
Jax nodded "Okay. So can I leave you two alone right now or am I gonna be pulling you apart so you don't kill each other?"
Clay turned to Jax "You can leave. Thank you Son."
After Jax left, both Clay and Gemma walked into the kitchen and sat down, not saying a word.
"You gonna say something first or should I?" asked Clay.
"What kind of idiot move was it to bring that sweet butt you screwed here on my lot?" demanded Gemma
"I didn't even know she was gonna be here." argued Clay "Hell she's not even here for me. She's all hung up on 'Sack."
"The Prospect?" Gemma questioned, "That's why she's here?"
Clay nodded. "You think I'd be stupid enough to bring her here? I didn't even remember her. She means nothing compared to you baby. You're my old lady."
Gemma pursed her lips; "You've just been so distant in the bedroom…." she trailed off
"You know what that Mayan shit is doing to me. It has nothing to do with you." Clay reasoned.
"I slapped her." Gemma blurted out.
"Who? Cherry?" asked Clay
"Eden,"
Clay sucked in a breath "Jesus. What happened?"
"She's mad as hell at you and me for allowing you to do what you do on runs. She's grown up in this lifestyle all her life and she can't wrap her head around that rule. She had a mouth on her and before I knew it I slapped. I didn't mean it, I never wanted to lay a hand on her."
"She called me out on my shit on the lot earlier. Never seen her so angry." Clay admitted.
"She puts you on a pedestal. Always has. She may look and act like me, but she's your girl."
"The look she had on her face, I gotta admit, hurt a little."
"I guess we'll have to talk to her tomorrow."
"I should go get her. Don't like her out alone, I put a patch on her, but Juice lost the trail."
"Just leave her be tonight. We know where she is. She'll be safe." Gemma said.
Clay nodded. Oh the Morrow family had some things they needed to sort out. He knew the rules weren't going to change anytime soon, he just wished he could help Eden understand that what they do is okay.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
"Welcome ladies. Your oasis awaits…." said Tyler Rochford, who opened the front door at Josh's house and greeted Eden and Jamie.
Eden rolled her eyes. She should've took more than three shots back at Jamie's if she was going to have to put with this all night.
As they walked in, the party was in full swing and everyone was either talking within their cliques by the keg or girding up on each other near the blaring stereos.
"This is a nice ass house." Jamie remarked.
"Josh's Dad is Oswald's right hand man." Eden answered back. They didn't want to dance yet so the teenage girls walked over the keg and took empty cups and were about to pour their drinks until someone tapped on both their shoulders.
Both girls turned around, but it was Jamie who smiled "Hey you!" she squealed and wrapped her arms around Greg. They weren't an item, but the duo had been hooking up for as long as Eden knew Kip. Neither one wanted to make things official but that didn't stop the two from getting into jealous fits from time to time.
"Hey beautiful." He greeted Jamie with a tight hug. "Morrow." he said with a nod to Eden.
"Lombardi." Eden replied back
"Josh and I decided to make something special for those who showed up that we actually like." he said then handed the girls each a red solo cup.
Eden sniffed it. "Jungle juice?"
Greg nodded "You bet. His brother showed us how to make it. They live on this at their frat house at Sac State."
Jamie eagerly took a sip "Tastes literally like Gatorade." then she looked at Eden who hadn't drank yet "Come on, it's good."
Eden shrugged. She had enough common sense to not drink from a cup that she didn't pour herself, it could be loaded with drugs. Even her parents instilled that into her at a young age. However, at this moment she didn't care. Besides Greg and Josh weren't stupid enough to put dangerous shit in the jungle juice." She finally took a large gulp and was pleased with its tastes and began drinking it even more along with Jamie and their friends.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
When Jax walked into the clubhouse, the place was pretty empty. Everyone ended up going to Cara Cara for the tonight to party. He was tempted to go over, but he told Tara he'd come home early that night so they could relax while Abel was with the nanny. When he walked into the bar area he saw Half Sack by himself, drinking.
"What are you doing here by yourself?" Jax asked
Kip took a sip of his beer and set it down and looked at Jax. "Didn't feel like going to Cara Cara tonight."
Jax smirked "My sister got you on a tight leash huh? She's not the biggest fan of the Cara Cara girls."
"Eden and I broke up."
Jax stood there, he didn't look shocked, but instead on the inside he was somewhat relieved, but curious to why the couple parted ways. He sat down next to Kip.
"What happened?"
"Ya obviously know what happened between Cherry and I in Indian Hills and Clay too." Kip said then continued "Well I told Eden about what Cherry and I did and I lied to her about Cherry and Clay hooking up and she's pretty pissed about that."
"So you're the reason she found out about Clay fooling around on runs." Jax said. It was all coming together now. He wondered how Eden found out the truth because no one in the club was stupid enough to spill the beans, except Half Sack.
"And she thinks I cheated on her. This is all such a freaking mess." Kip said, running his hands through his hair. Clearly stressed out.
"Did you?" Jax asked darkly. The whole Sack possibly cheating on his little sister caught him off guard. Clearly the prospect was stupid enough to think that was okay.
"Yes, I-I mean no." he said firmly "Cherry kissed me earlier not the other way around. I was caught off guard. I don't want her, I want Eden."
"Then maybe you shouldn't have been a dumbass and cheated on my sister." Jax replied. It took every fiber in his being not to kill Sack right then. He knew his little sister dating an older man was a huge mistake.
"I knew telling you this would be a waste! You've hated me being with her from the start." Kip pointed out.
"A twenty three year old man is dating my seventeen year old sister. I found out you two were together when I found you on top of her, shirtless. You think I should be okay with that?" Jax demanded.
"Hey man I care about her. She's the best thing that's happened to me in a long time."
"Then stop being a pussy and tell her that."
Kip turned to Jax. Was he really telling him to get his sister back? He thought Jax would be thrilled that they weren't together anymore. "Since when do you want me to win her back?"
"'Cause I haven't seen her happy like she was with you in a long time. Besides I can control you better than any Tom, Dick, or Harry that goes after her."
"Her phones off. Been trying to call and text her all day." Kip admitted.
"She's her friend Jamie's house. Bet they went to a party with it being a Friday night."
"She wants nothing to do with me. If she sees me, she's gonna kick my ass."
"You afraid of a hundred and twenty pound teenage girl?" asked Jax
"You bet."
Jax smirked. "Do what you want Sack. If you gonna pussy out and not be a man and make things right, don't complain." Jax said before standing up and clapping Kip on the back.
After Jax left, Kip sat there. He racked his brain on what he should do. Clearly calling and texting her wasn't doing any good. He wanted to get her back of course. He remembered what Jax said about Eden probably being at party tonight. He knew what he had to do and that was to win Eden back and stop being a pussy like Jax said.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
After being at the party for over thee hours, Eden was sufficiently wasted. Between playing drinking games with her fellow classmates and dancing with Jamie she was having a lot more fun then she figured she would have. She didn't have to think about her parents, or Kip, or even SAMCRO for the night. Tonight she was just a regular teenager having fun and enjoying been a senior.
She left Jamie on the living room floor who was now dancing with Greg. Josh's house was huge and Eden knew that within the hour, her best friend and her kinda-boyfriend would be upstairs in one of the room hooking up before she knew it. She figured she'd hang out with some of the guys till they all get tired and passed out somewhere in the house. When she walked back to the keg, stumbling along the way, she noticed that a group of boys were standing around it and talking.
"How ya feeling Morrow?" asked Josh
"G-Greatttt." Eden slurred "Tony the Tiger great."
The boys all chuckled as they sipped their beer and jungle juice. Soon Eden felt a cold, clammy, hand on the small of her back. She turned around and saw Kyle Donovan standing there. He was clad in a baby blue polo shirt and khaki's.
"Please don't kick me in the balls." was the first thing he said.
"I already did that last time you try to force me to kiss you. This time I might just break your nose." Eden replied. She hadn't spoken to Kyle Donovan since the incident in the field a couple months ago. She was still pretty pissed he tried to take advantage of her and call her names because she wouldn't sleep with him. She wanted to know why the prick was talking to her now.
"Look I was a douche for what happened in the field. Clearly I think your a hot a piece of ass and I went about it the wrong way. You're not a whore either."
"Glad you think so." Eden replied sarcastically.
Kyle chuckled. "Come on Morrow. Forgive me? We're graduating in a few months and you'll never see me again. Just dance with me one time and I'll leave you alone. I doubt you'll even remember it cause you're so drunk."
Eden contemplated Kyle's proposition. Sure she thought he was one of the biggest douche bags she has ever met and that was saying something, but at the same time dancing with him would be a big FU to Kip for what he had done. He wasn't a huge fan of Kyle since he saw Eden walking alone, drunk, in the middle of the street cause of him. She began to replay what Jamie said earlier that night about rebounds and thought grinding with Kyle might just be what she needed.
"Fine," she said with a sighed. "I guess so."
Kyle held out his hand Eden took it. When they got onto the floor, they were squished with about forty of their fellow classmates. A popular rap song began to play on the huge stereos and Eden could feel the bass drops that felt like her own heartbeat. Eden began to dance with her back against Kyle with her ass rubbing against, his package. She knew this would get him in a good mood and she was right. Immediately Kyle's hands began to travel down her waist and firmly grasped against her side, bringing her even lower. They did this for a couple minutes and before she knew it she and Kyle were making out in the middle of the floor. It felt different, weird even. He was more forceful, his lips were cold and he tasted like jungle juice and she wasn't a fan of that but she kept kissing him. In the back of her mind she couldn't help but think Fuck you Kip as they kept kissing. Maybe kissing Kyle wasn't so bad though.
When Jamie saw what was going on between Eden and Kyle on the dance floor she was shocked. Eden told her what happened at the field a couple months ago when she and Greg left them and she felt guilty ever since. She knew Kyle had always had a hard-on for Eden and the fact he forced himself onto her when she was shitfaced was something she knew she couldn't get passed, even if he was Greg's friend. When she told Eden to rebound with someone, she definitely didn't mean Kyle. She knew that Eden would regret this in the morning along with her hangover. She knew what she had to do. She grabbed Eden's phone out of her satchel and turned it on; instantly, over thirty calls and texts popped up on her phone, all from Kip. She dialed the number immediately.
"Eden thank god. I've been calling you-." Kip said, exasperated before he was cut off.
"Biker boy?" Jamie shouted because of the loud music playing.
"Who is this?" Kip asked, suspiciously. It wasn't Eden who called, even though it was her phone. Something must be up.
"It's Jamie, her best friend. Look I know you two are going through a fight or whatever, but we're at a party and Eden's shitfaced. I gave her bad advice and now she's taking it for once and I think if she keeps this up she's gonna have plenty of serious regrets in the morning."
Kips' heart stopped. A million thoughts were running through his head right now. "Is she okay? Where is she?" he demanded.
"She's here at the party, just come here, please? I know she still cares about you." Jamie begged
"Okay okay I'm on my way what's the address?" Kip said, grabbing the first pen and paper he could find. He had to go get Eden, if what Jamie said was true, his girlfriend, the person he cared most about needed him and he had to be there.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
Ten minutes later, Kip hadn't shown up yet and Jamie was worried. Sure she was just as shitfaced as Eden was but she knew her best friend would regret hooking up with Kyle Donovan. They were still dancing, along with most of the senior class, and she knew she had to stop her before Kip got here. She left Greg at the keg and store over to Kyle and Eden making out. She pulled Eden's arm and when she saw her face, the girl looked like a mess.
"Hey. You do realize you're kissing Kyle right? You're gonna hate yourself for this. Come chill with me and Greg and the guys." Jamie said.
"I don't care. Kyle's hot when he's not talking." Eden mumbled
"I know I told you to rebound tonight, but he is not the right choice." Jamie pointed out.
"Stop trying to be my fucking Mom, Jamie. I know what I'm doing. Go fuck Greg or something. Leave me alone." Eden replied harshly.
Immediately, Jamie released her grip from Eden's shoulders, waving her hands in the air and giving up. "Fine. Do what you want. Just don't come to me tomorrow bitching because I didn't pry you away from someone you dispiese."
Eden didn't even answer back and turned her attention from Jamie to back to Kyle and kept making out with him. She could hear Jamie leave and she was glad. Her friend needed to stop being so nosy and mind her own business. Soon after another rap song ended, Kyle started kissing her neck and then whispered in her ear.
"Lets go upstairs." he said with a smirk.
Eden turned around and looked up at Kyle and his hungry eyes. The alcohol was clouding her judgment and her hormones were running rampant. She was in the mood and Kyle was the closest guy around. She knew that this was a rebound and it was okay. She tried to do the whole relationship thing and it blew up in her face. Kyle wasn't a great option, but it was all she had.
"Lets go." she slurred again. As Kyle helped her up the stairs they found the nearest empty and room. Eden could hear the bedroom door slam behind her and with that Kyle picked her up and threw her on the bed, with her legs dangling on the side. They began to kiss roughly some more, barely touching each other's lips and the clothes started to peel off. Eden wasn't prepared to go the far tonight with anyone, but she was too tired and drunk to stop it or do anything about it.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOSAOSAOSAOSO
When Kip arrived at the address Jamie gave him, he felt like he step into a time capsule of when he was in high school. He could hear the loud music playing from under his helmet and kids were outside on the lawn, littered with red cups talking. Most of the noise came from inside though, where the party had to be in full swing. He saw Eden's Jeep next to the many cars parked on the side of the road. His heart fluttered a little. She was here.
High school kids were staring at him. Probably confused to why someone who was definitely not in high school was at the party. Some of them had scared looks on their face once they saw his Prospect cut on his back. Some guys who clearly looked like jocks began to compliment him on his Dyna, but he wasn't listening. He kept thinking about how Eden was and if she was okay and what his plan was to get her out of there.
When he walked in, he saw that the house was trashed and reeked of alcohol and weed. The loud bass drops from the music were pounding his ears and once again he was grateful he didn't go to college. He scanned the room for Eden, but it was no use. Then he saw a girl who looked familiar and when over to her.
"Where is she?" he yelled above the music.
"Thank god you're here!" Jamie exclaimed. "I lost her. One minute she was on the dance floor and the next she disappeared."
Kip had a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. He began to worry even more. No one knew where Eden was and that was not a good thing.
"I think she and Donovan went upstairs." said some kid who looked like he owned the place. "They probably took one of the guest rooms."
She wasn't alone? Kip thought. He felt even sicker now. Clearly this Donovan kid was not a female and that pissed him off even more. He didn't even wait for the kid or Jamie to say anything else. He strode off to find the stairs. When he did, he took two at a time. Trying to get to the top as fast as possible. He began to bang on doors and open them as they went. Some were empty while others had teenagers he didn't recognize hooking up with each other. He found a room on the far left, praying that she was in there, but hopefully alone and asleep. When he tried to twist the door handle it wouldn't budge. That was never a good sign. He tried again and it wouldn't open. It must be locked.
He knew she had to be in there. He had to get her outta there and whatever situation she was in. Before he knew it he backed away from the door and with one foot, he swiftly kicked the door off his hinges. When the light from the hallway shown into the door room all he saw was a shirtless guy on top of a small girl, who was also shirtless. Kip squinted and got a good look at the girl. It was Eden and her eyes were barely open. She didn't even look conscious.
"Dude what the hell. Get the fuck outtta here." The guy Kip didn't recognize shouted. Kip could barely register what the guy said because before he knew it, he peeled the guy off Eden and punched him as hard as he could. Pain began to migrate to his fist from colliding with the guy's teeth. The guy was on the ground. Kip didn't even look to see if he was conscious, he ran over to Eden, who was sitting up now. She looked beyond lost and confused.
"What the hell." she muttered. Kip looked at her. Her hair was a mess and her lips look swollen. He felt sick; she was with another guy.
"I'm getting you outta here." Kip said, gritting through his teeth. He tossed Eden her shirt. As she was putting her shirt back on the guy stood up, blood streaming from his lips. He looked just as pissed off as Kip.
"Look buddy wait in line for the SAMCRO whore." The guy replied bitterly, he tried to swing on Kip but Kip sidestepped him and punched him in the gut then once again in head. Kip didn't even realize what he was doing, the second this prick called his girl a whore he lost control.
"Kip stop!" Eden shouted
Kip looked down at the guy and saw that he was finally unconscious and then turned back to Eden who was standing up, but wobbly on her feet.
"We're leaving." Kip said darkly. He was so mad at Eden right now, but he knew he had to get her out of there no matter what. This party was bound to get busted at any time and the last thing both Kip and Eden needed was police involvement. Once she was finally dressed. Kip wrapped his arm around her waist, trying to steady her. She wasn't speaking and Kip began to worry if she was actually going to lose consciousness soon. It took him awhile to get her down the stairs and outside of the house. He knew there was no way she could be on his bike right now, she wouldn't be able to hold on so he took her keys out of her leather jacket and carried her to the passenger seat of the Jeep. When he finally got into the drivers seat he sighed, how did everything get so bad between them? He knew he should text Eden's friend to let her she was with him, but his priority right now was getting Eden home safe, in bed, and far away from these people who called them her friends.
As the drove down the street Kip looked over at Eden and sighed. She looked a mess. Her hair was even messier than before and her head kept bobbing up and down as if she was going to fall asleep any second. He then looked at what she was wearing and gritted his teeth. Her skirt barely covered her ass and her red shirt was torn, like it would be in the heat of passion. He audibly growled.
"Eden." He called out, trying to get her to stay awake.
"Hmm?" she replied back then opened her eyes "Don't talk to me asshole."
"Really?" said in dismay "I'm the asshole? I'm the only one who's been looking out for you all night, hell the past couple months, and that's what you say to me?"
"I don't need a knight in shining chrome." she replied bitterly, finally sitting up and looking conscious. As if the anger awoke her.
"I get your pissed at me, I lied. But the fact you broke up with me less than twelve hours ago and I find you at some party, nearly unconscious, underneath some guy who calls you a whore. Do you know how that makes me feel?"
"Kyle was just a rebound."
Kip stopped the car. The name of the kid that she was with and who he knocked unconscious turned everything into a screeching halt.
"Kyle?" He barked "You mean that was the prick who took advantage of you in the field?" he demanded
Eden didn't say anything, not wanting to admit the truth and kept looking out the windshield.
"What the hell happened to you?" he asked, clearly hurt.
"My boyfriend lied to be about my father, who is actually a man whore, and then he goes kissing girls that he's Eskimo brothers with said father." Eden replied bitterly.
"She kissed me!" He pointed out. "I didn't even kiss her back, I pushed her away before anything happened. You're just too stubborn to listen."
"You hurt me so bad Kip." Eden said, her voice was shaky, as if she was going to cry.
"And you think I'm perfectly okay?" Kip replied back, his voice was just as uneven. "I've been in hell the last couple of hours. You don't think you breaking up with is tearing me apart? I've been nonstop calling and texting you"
"Why? Lost the only two chicks who would pay attention to a Prospect." Eden said bitterly. She knew that was a low blow. She wasted to pack a punch that hurt and she knew that would hurt him.
Kip tightened the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. "I know you're just trying to say that to hurt me. It's working. But that's your defense mechanism."
"God just shut up Kip. Why do think I would sleep with Kyle? Not because of his charm that's for sure. I hooked up with him because I want to hurt you as much as you hurt me earlier."
"I didn't mean to. I lied because I wanted to protect you." Kip admitted, "I know you look up to him, I do too, and I knew if you knew the truth you'd see him in a different light. Your family is everything to you, blood and bike. Why would I want to be a hand in screwing that up?"
"Why do you care so much? It's my family; I'll make my own decisions. I'm not a little girl that's needs to be protected. I can handle the truth."
"Clearly not cause once you found out you went and got shit faced and almost lost your virginity to that douche bag." Kip remarked.
"I wouldn't have slept with him." Eden replied softy.
"I believe you, but what's to say he wouldn't care what you wanted and just went ahead and forced you to have sex with him?" Kip shouted "It's stuff like that that makes me panic and come there and get you cause I'm so worried."
"That wouldn't have happened." Eden replied. Inside she didn't know if that was the truth or not. Clearly Kyle had shown to not be a good guy and who's to say he would or wouldn't have stopped. She didn't want to admit that though.
"That doesn't stop me from worrying." Kip pointed out, turning down one of the back roads that took longer to reach Eden's house. He wasn't ready to drop her off yet and he still wanted to talk to her, and fix this. "This is killing me. The fighting, the you leaving me and then putting yourself in a bad situation."
"Most guys would leave." Eden said, "If this is so hard for you then just accept the break up and move on. Not like we were together that long." She didn't even know what she was saying. She obviously didn't mean it, her voice was not her own.
"I can't leave. No matter what I do, who I'm with, I always think about you. You sure are a pain in the ass. God dammit Eden, I love you. Isn't that obvious?" he said, finally looking at her in the eye.
Before Eden could say anything, something collided with the car from the rear that sent them forward.
"What the-" before Kip could finish, the Jeep was struck again and this time it sent them reeling, the Jeep began to roll down the bank until it stopped.
