It was 2 days after the incident, Luis been at STAR Labs instead of Joe's.
But today it was time for him to go home. Cisco build a device that can open a breach to his earth. Home. Finally after being stuck here for a week.
He got along with everyone here. Especially Cisco, considering they both like old classic sci-fi movies. Luis ran in the cortex.
"So, I guess this is it?" He said. "Dude, that device, me and harry made is also a tracker." Cisco replied. "Yes, once you made it back to your earth, we will send a signal into the breach," Harry said matter-of-factly.
"And once we get a connection, we will find the earth that you originated from."
Harry planted the device on the back of of his suit. It was a small black flash emblem with a tiny red light on it. Luis smiled soon he'll be home.

Soon, everyone show up to say goodbye.
"Thanks for your help guys, I wish I could stay longer." He smiled.
"But my home needs me." The pipeline door open. Everyone walked in.
"Ok Barry," Harry said. "just like with Thawne, he will need to siphon off your speedforce, In order to jumped in the dimensional barrier."
"Bye everyone I'll visit as soon as I can! Thanks Harry." Luis said.
They both changed up the speedforce in their system. "3...2..." Barry said.
This was it. "1...Go!".He yelled. They started running around and around the pipeline. Luis looked up and saw a portal forming.
He heard the flickering. Then Barry grabbed his arm, threw him right towards the portal. In slow motion his hand was reaching for the blue glow.
He touch it, only to receive unbearable pain of electricity coursing through his veins. He yelled out in pain. Barry watched in horror. Then Luis's body fell on the ground. Part of his suit was burned.
Luis instantly got up, the adrenaline was kicking in. "No!no!no!no! Maybe we did something wrong!" He freaked.
"Luis, calm down." Barry worried. "Let's retry right now!" Luis demanded.
He ran around again the portal open. "LUIS, NO!" Barry yelled.
But Luis was in the air, only to have the same reaction.
He fell back on the ground. Barry carried him back to the team.
Before it went black, a tear came out. "I'm stuck here." He thought.

"How is he?" Iris asked. "He has 2nd degree burns, but he should heal in a few hours." Caitlin said. Barry was looking at the security cameras in the pipeline.
"I don't understand we travel universes before." Barry said. "Why couldn't he go through?" Luis then came out the medbay.
"You need to lie back down." Caitlin worried. How could he rest, when his home endangered. "Relax, I almost healed." He said in a depressed tone.
He left the room. He needed time alone.
The team continue the discussion. "Me and Ramon will still try to get him home." Harry said. "Hopefully we'll see what went wrong." Cisco noted.
Luis dragged his hand across the wall. It made him focus on something else.
As he walked down the hallway he heard a beep. A door open, he poked his head in. "What the what?" He wondered. "Barry! What is this?"
Barry came walking over. "This is the time vault". Barry said.
"What in here?" Luis questioned.
Barry and Luis walked in. "It holds the future." Barry said.
"To what?" He turns on a holographic image.

Luis was in awe. It a Newspaper from the future. "Barry, what happens that day?" He asked.
"In the future, I have arch nemesis named Reverse-Flash, He found out who I really am." Barry told. "He said we race back to the past, to my childhood home. He was gonna kill me." Luis reading the future news.
One point they're were having a very heated conversation before continuing the fight.
"That's the night you left. He told you what he was gonna do." Luis noted.
"He told me we ran, landing a few punches, and got myself outta there.
Then he kill my mom."
Barry said. "So how do you know all of this?" Luis wondered.
"After he did it he was trapped in the past. So he had to help me become the flash." Barry turned on a screen.
9:51 PM
Barry was in his crime lab. He was walking toward his roof window.
He grabbed the chain and started pulling.
9:52 AM
The lightning bolt struck him. And the camera went black.
Luis's eyes widened. "I guess it was worth it. How long you been the flash." He asked. "2 years, 10 months and 14 days." A voice said. Luis got in defensive mode. "Who was that?!" He exclaimed. "Hello, I am Gideon." she said.
"Barry Allen's personal Artificial intelligent."
"In the future, I create Gideon." Barry noted.
"Cool! a real life A.I!" He said. "Hi! My name is-"
"Luis Acosta known as Velocity. Lived in Keystone on an alternate earth."
Gideon said. Luis was shocked. He was gonna be known on this earth.
Gideon from the future, so that could mean he found a way back to his earth.
Or he's trapped here.
"Wait, so does Gideon knows where I'm from?" Luis asked. "Gideon?" Barry said.
"I'm afraid I cannot answer that, Mr. Acosta kept his home world a secret due to The Flash's enemies." Gideon said. Luis fell on his knees, thinking about his family and friends. He could see the headline in his head:

Like his enemies won't put 2 and 2 together. Everyone will be endangered.
Luis's heart started beating fast. He reach for his vest pocket.
He wasn't wearing his vest. "WHERE MY VEST!" He yelled.
Barry saw Luis's skin turn grey. "In the medbay!" He said.
Luis zoomed right in the medbay with Barry. He reach in his vest.
He grabbed what looked like a allergy pen. He pops off the cap and stabs it in his neck. He felt relaxed. Then he fell to the ground. Barry walked up to him.
"Don't worry, keeps me calm." He said comfortable. Barry was at lost.
"What did I just see?"

Luis decided to calm his nerves by talking to Cisco. They were in his workshop looking at the footage of Luis running out the portal and him running into the portal in the pipeline. "Did this ever happened to anyone?" Luis wondered.
"No." Cisco replied. "Everyone able to pass freely through the breach."
Cisco looked again at the recording, when Luis came out.
"You look disoriented right here." He said.
"What happened before you got here?"
Memories of that night flash through Luis's mind.
"It's not important." He whispered. "Are you sure? I mean until we found a way
to get you home." Cisco said. Luis pause the video. He took a deep breath.
"On my world there's a someone who like me, his name is Nitrous.
He got his powers when I did." Luis said sadly. "Only he stay hidden for a year and half. I finally met him for the first time..."

It was nighttime
Luis was in a burning apartment building. "Is anyone still in here?!" He yelled.
He heard three voices, one was a adult, others were kids.
"I'm coming!" he said. He jumped up on the next floor.
"Step out into hallway!" Then, the man and two girls were in the hallway.
Luis grabbed the kids first. "I'll be right back!" He quickly said.
He brought the girls outside. They were terrified.
"Where's daddy?!" One of them cries. Luis ran back in and grabbed him.
The building collapsing, Luis gets out just in time.
*cough cough* "see he's okay." He said to comfort the little girls.
They gave Luis a hug, even he was covered in black ashes.
"Aw, no prob-" Luis was suddenly on top a skyscraper.
"Why did you help people, who need to burn for their sins." The voice said.
Luis doesn't recognize it.
He turns around and there was a man who wore a hood.
It was dark and all you could see was his red eyes.
"Who are you?" Luis said with fear.
"A man who can see a better world." He said.
"By killing people? Your powers are meant to protect them." Luis flustered.
FROM WHAT?! THEMSELVES?! He yelled. "They should be kneeling towards me for protection! We're supposed to Gods with these powers!"
Luis look the man's hands, they were generating red electricity.
"You're a speedster." Luis said. "Yes, only better." He said.
He grabbed Luis and started dragging him around the city.
He threw Luis at a tree, he heard a bone crack. Luis got up,
Started throwing punches but the speedster block them.
The speedster grabbed Luis's hand and twist it, punch him in the stomach.
He screamed in pain. He falls on the ground. "How do you protect someone, when you can't even stop me?" And he ran off leaving him on the ground.

"I laid there for an hour until my team found me." Luis said. "He later on gave himself the name Nitrous." Cisco felt sympathy, it was like when Barry first fought Zoom. "Listen, let's take a moment to chill." Cisco said.
"That way we can look at this at a different view."
Suddenly it hit him, a different view. "Cisco, how many cameras are on that street?" Luis asked. "Why?" He wondered.
Luis was hacking into other cameras.

Everyone in the cortex, Cisco and Luis was showing the footage.
He pause the video. "Right here is when I opened a breach." He said.
I look at the video at a different angle, using the camera down the street from it." He shows them again but in super slow motion.
The breach was looking normal. But when Luis came through, it flickers to blue and red. "Has that ever happened?" Luis questioned.
"No. Cisco's portals always stay the same." Barry said.
Luis was walking in circles. "I got to find a way home soon." He panicked.
"It won't be too long before people figure I'm velocity.
He goes missing and so do I!"
Barry saw it again. Luis was a little pale and parts of his hair turned white.
Luis took a deep breath and relaxed his tense muscles.
His hair and skin went back to it original color.
"I going for a walk." He said calmly.
He left the cortex. Leaving everyone at a lost.
"Guys did you notice any different about Luis?" Barry said.
"What do you mean?" Iris asked. "I mean when he started look pale." He said.
"That perfectly natural." Caitlin said. "It's not if he was really grey." He told.
Everyone looked at him. "We were in the Time Vault and he started hyperventilating. Then he gets this pen and pokes himself."
That is peculiar. Did Luis have a heart condition?
Why was his hair turning grey? Why did he have to stay calm?
They needed answers...
