A/N: I'm so sorry you guys. My life got the better of me for the past almost year. I've had many problems arise along with difficulties, one is that I currently do not have a computer. I'm on a library one at the moment... I'll try and edge out some time to continue on with this FF along with my other ones, however, it'll be a difficult task to say in the least. I hope that everyone enjoys this update and the ones to come!

Ren walked into the president's office accompanied by his manager. He still couldn't completely act as if his whole being was reduced to nothing but a discarded cell phone. Yashiro had caught on that something was off with him today, but Ren had refused to tell him. He felt as if that once he admitted it himself that it would become real. He was refusing to come to terms with the fact that she left him. If he did then he would be just an empty shell of what was once human. It would be worse than when she rejected his confession to her. At the current moment his only hope is that she accidently forgot her cell phone at his apartment after last nights event. He hadn't seen anything else to indicate that she's left him. But at the same time he couldn't ask anyone about her whereabouts either without exposing their relationship, and on the slim chance that everything was okay he didn't want to ruin their peaceful life at the moment.
"Ren! It's good to see you! Are you ready for this conference?" Lory asked trying to hide his discontent with the whole Kyoko incident.
"All I can say is that I never expected today to come." Ren replied back with a sad smile gracing his face as he took a seat.
"Just to make sure I have to ask once more. Are you sure that you want to retire Ren?" Lory asked instead, still a little mad that he was kept in the dark still.
"You can always change the topic about the conference if you don't really want to retire." Yashiro said trying to guess why Ren was in a sort of bad mood for the day. Ren stayed silent for awhile as if he hadn't heard a single word.
"It's-" Lory began to say before Ren interrupted him.
"I'm doing it. There's nothing else for me to do anyway." Ren said solemnly.
"Well then. Like you had wanted this is probably going to be the biggest press conference to be held in the nation." Lory said trying to bring the young man's spirits up. With no reply once again Lory pulled Yashiro aside away from Ren's ear to ask a question.
"Do you know why he's like this?" Lory asked hushly.
"No. I thought it might be because of his retirement." Yashiro replied just as hushly.
"Do you know where Kyoko is?" Lory then asked in the same tone.
"I don't. But I don't think even she'll be able to help get his mood better at the moment. They've grown apart a lot over the past month or so." Yashiro said somewhat guilty as he remembered his stunt from last time. He still couldn't believe that he was the reason for the two of them separating as they did. The only thing he was sure of was that he would never bring up the topic of Ren's love life in front of said man ever again in this lifetime. Sebastian walked into the room and made a gesture to Lory and at this Lory stood back up facing Ren.
"It's time for the press conference. You better make the best of it." Lory stated as he slipped back into a commanding CEO form.
"Yes. You're right." Ren said as he gathered everything in him to appear as if nothing is going haywire behind the scenes. The three of them walked out of the office and got into the pre-designated Limousine to go to the building in which the conference was being held.
At the arrival of the building packs of people could be seen, all curious if the rumors were true or not. It appeared to be so busy that the police had to be asked to help with crowd control both within and outside of the building. The idea made Ren laugh a little ironically. The only thing going according to plan at the moment was his plan to retire. As the door was opened by an attendant from outside, Lory exited first accompanied by Ren and then finally Yashiro. With this the crowds seemed to become even more out of control than they were before and there seemed to be concern if they had enough people to hold it together or not. However, the three walked into the building with no concern and made their way to the conference room. It turned out to be such a big conference that the venue was a ballroom in a five star hotel. As they entered the room it seemed to be full to capacity with people waiting outside the doors to try and get in still. Ren took his stand at the podium with Yashiro on his left and Lory on his right. Two men that he knew he could almost always count on. As he waited for the room to come to a silence He scanned the people who were in attendance to see people not only from Japan but ones that looked to be from abroad as well.
"Before I start this conference, I would like to thank everyone who has come in attendance as well as everyone that is viewing from home. I truly appreciate the time and effort everyone is putting into my selfish decision to hold this press conference for myself." Ren started off as the room became silent.
"From the time that I was small I knew that I wanted to become an Actor. That was both my goal and dream in life. My father is a tremendous actor in this industry himself, and he is the one who taught me and scolded me for this career path. He is my idol, goal in life, and my loving father. My mother is equally just as amazing with her being one of the most beautiful women on this planet. She is a model that is both revered and idolized by many. I'm certain that once I get to the part of this speech that contains their names, then many people, not just the ones here, will be astonished." Ren started off his speech.
"Now I may be the top male actor in Japan, but when I had started off in this industry I was nothing in comparison. I told an acquaintance of mine this recently, on how I've been fired from so many jobs that I can't even count them anymore. They were astonished to say in the least, however, that is true." Ren said jokingly with a smile on his face.
"I have dedicated my life and everything that I am to become the man that you see before you. It most definitely was not easy and I have made many sacrifices in this life to do so. However, what I am doing today, the reason for all of you to be here, is for me to announce one thing." Ren said.
A/N: I'll try and update again soon, but seeing as how I've been up since 4am today and it's currently 11pm, and I'm not at home, It might be a while.

Reviews:
Erza: I'm back again! I'm sorry that you might have to read it all over again (I might have to as well), but I should be getting an update to All That Love Brings soon, so I hope that makes up for it! Thank you for the well wishes, but things haven't really gotten better just yet. I just remember that the harder things get, the greater the result is.
