Haaaiiii... So yeah of course... It's been 2 years ever so nearly 3... Wow, I'm such a terrible author! Sorry I'm so terrible at this and lied, I said I was gonna post in September 2013 but now it's May 2016... jeez. But here it is! Finally, Chapter 10! I'm gonna need to re-watch the series before I make anymore new chapters! But for now here ya go!
Chapter 10
Jaden POV
I kept on running, I wasn't sure why, shouldn't I be keeping an eye on my sister... that reminds me, she never told us what happened to her, I forgot that she never told us what happened to her... I debated on going back but before I had even noticed it I was already outside at the entrance of the school, I stopped running and let the others catch up to me.
"And I thought... you were meant... to be ill Jay! Yet you can still... run that fast!" Syrus searched for his breath and when he got it back he stood up straight.
"That's the sarge for ya, private truesdale!"
"I guess so..." Then Jesse caught up to us, with Jim far behind, man that crock must be heavy for'im
"Phew, ya finally stopped running!"
"Yeah..." I looked at the ground, I must of looked like an idiot, I had just suddenly ran off without even thinking about it.
"Why'dya run off like that Jay? Is something wrong?"
"Uh no, I just.. I don't actually know why I ran off!" I looked up and forced a little laugh
"Typical Jay, just running off without even thinking first!"
"Yeah well I..."
"YY..AAAARRRRRRR!" We all jumped back in alert at Hassleberry's scream, "I'VE BEEN HIT!" We all watched as Hassleberry squeled and jumped around with Shirley biting his.. urrr... ass...
"Heel Girl! Heel!" We all turned round to see Jim running towards us and taking shirley off Hassleberry, "Hush Shirley"
"Man what is up with that crocodile?" Syrus stated
"Well ya see, there are frequency waves that are going out of control, this makes Shirley a little, let's say, wilder." Jim replied, Jesse and I turned to look at eachother,
"Did ya understand a word?"
"Not one!" I was just as confused as Jesse was!
All of a sudden i was blocked by a load of dark blue hair as Blair came running towards us and leaped on top of me.
"Jaden! Your ok now?! I made this lunch for you and everything packed with worries and love! Jeez! Oh and also, have you seen Rei anywhere?! I haven't seen her all morning!" I saf up, forcing her off me, not looking at her in the eye, she has become such close friends with Rei, and with everything that was going on... well i really just did not want to get her involved.
We all looked at each other with the same look of 'we know but we don't want to say'. "You know? Well then spit it out!"
"She's in the infirmary." I told her, looking at her with an efforted straight face.
"What?! But why?! How?!" We all looked at each other again and told her what was going on...
"How does that even make sense..."
"That's what we would like to know!" Jesse exclaimed, the irritation clear in his voice.
I stared at the building of Duel Academy, deep in thought, what was going to happen to the school, what was happening to us. No matter what it was, it wasn't going to stop me from duelling! No way!
"Jay?" The southern accent called out to me. I turned to him in reply, "You sure you're ok?" I hesitated before I replied,
"Yeah I'm sure." But his strong glare was proof enough that I was easily transparent through my words and emotions. Of course I wasn't ok. My sister who I have not seen in years, not even managed to have two minutes with her to sit down and figure out where she's been all these years, what she's been doing, who even took her in the first place?! How was she able to smile like that... It all bothered me. And now all this and she's just lying unconscious in the infirmary like I was just a few hours before?
So many questions. And no answers...
Jesse POV
I can't blame him, with everything that's going on, well ya can't expect a person to be on all four wheels. But even under all that confusion and worry, I could see fire in his eyes as he stared up at the grand building of Duel Academy, deep in his own thoughts, eyes and brows scrunched up, his lips slightly puckered...
He was thinking...
For sure...
Real hard...
But maybe...
A little too hard.
"GAAAHHH! All this thinking ain't good for me! I need a duel to get me back on track! ... JESS DUEL ME NOW!" A sudden jolt of energy sparked from the slifer brown head, his arm pointed out towards me in a proud stance, brows inwards and eyes filled with determination and fire.
But also, the child within him that gave him that pouty/puckered look, like a six year old begging for sweets.
I guess some things never change, no matter the circumstance.
I finally finished the chapter! Sorry it literally took me 2 years nearly 3 ;-; And sorry it's not the best chapter ever... and quite short... BUT I PROMISE TO MAKE ALL THE REST REALLY NICE AND LONG
I'll try to be more active but I have big exams coming up next month. So once they are done I'll focus more on the things I love!
In the summer I will probably rewrite this in a separate story to this so for one I can see the changes and so the story can be freshed into everyone's minds, including my own as a separate rewritten story. :3 I feel that I might start working on it soon...
