I know that I've been saying this a lot but this is a reminder to those who think this is an incomplete story so here goes, this is not going to be an incomplete story and if you think where are other couples, well they'll appear later so don't be anxious and also sorry for taking so long to write a chapter (also I don't know how to make a difference to mark the author's commentary and the story itself).

CHAPTER 10: flames of friendship and love

"hey, blue eyes how are holding up?" asked Issun to Link while he was hopping on his hat, Link was preparing his equipment before leave the town to the death mountain and said" don't worry, after all you were right, I'm nothing to her and it was stupid of me to think to have someone with me but that's not going to stop me from save Hyrule" then he got up and started to head to the door and meet Ammy and Shadow Link at the mountain base, Issun tried to cheer him up but for the first time he didn't have anything to say, nothing useful or stupid , nothing.

(Mountain base)

Ammy was looking at the ground with a saddened expression on her face and then Shadow Link said "why are you feeling so sad? After all, you were the one who broke his heart you shouldn't feel anything for that goddess of the sun" then Ammy said "could just stop it? I really wanted to say yes but…" then Navi interrupted and said" but what? You have someone else or is just because you're a goddess? Then Ammy were about to say something but Shadow Link said "forget it "then Link and Issun finally met up with the team and then Link said" alright, did you make sure to wear something heavy? Since the death mountain is being stormed with strong gusts of air we can't be too light or we're gonna be history" then everyone nodded and then he said "if we travel together our mobility will decrease and the longer the time we use to climb the mountain more dangerous will be so the teams are these: Issun, Navi, you two will go with Amaterasu, Shadow Link and I will take the other way, then Ammy asked "why do I have to take another way?" then Link answered " as I said we need to move fast and since Shadow Link and I know this mountain we know how to proceed and as for you, Navi will be your guide" then Link and Shadow Link went first, Ammy was a disappointed and Navi said " what are you complaining about? Did you want to go with him?" she nodded and said" I really wanted to say that I'm sorry and…" Issun interrupted her saying" It's not gonna be easy, he's barely capable to think straight right now" then Ammy said I don't understand, I know that he would be sad but why is so hard for him?" then Navi explained "is because Link never felt the affection for someone and even if Saria was the only one who helped him she never were able to understand his feelings he never felt love of anyone, everyone in the forest messed with him, he never known his mother and now he has to fulfill a destiny full of fights and pain, at his age this is more that any human can handle and yet he kept going fight after fight and then he met you and when he saw you in that tower I could feel his doubts about his feelings, Ammy you're the only one for Link's heart and yet to be rejected that sent him to the limit" Ammy was feeling pity for Link and then she said" I need to ask him forgiveness" then she started to climb the mountain wearing some sandals made of steel to avoid to be blown out of the mountain.

Link and Shadow Link were near of the Goron city or the remains of it "I hate to use the iron boots for so long, especially when I need to go up instead of going down" then Shadow Link said" less complaining and more walking… hey, are you really sure you're ok? If you die now because you're not capable to keep going then everything is finished so don't push yourself more than necessary" Link looked at his brother and giving a weak smile he said "thanks, but this is my job so is not a matter of being able to do it or not, is something that it must be done, but this place…this is the place where my little dragon Volvagia were turned into a monster and… " Shadow Link interrupted him and said" is not necessary to talk about it… look the entrance to the city" they were finally there and about five minutes later Ammy and the others appeared then Issun said " that was very easy, we didn't encountered any monster" then Shadow Link said " this strong gust of air must have blown the enemy from the mountain clearing the path, however the same wind has strong impact on the mountain damaging the rocks and creating tunnels for the lava destroying the city so we must watch our step" then Link said" okay, now Navi and Issun, come with me we're going to keep going to the outside entrance to the volcano, Shadow Link and Ammy, you'll go through the entrance of the city to the volcano and take any supply you find" then Link kept going with his way before Ammy could say anything and Shadow Link said" forget it, we have our own route and they have theirs, now let's go" and they entered to the city.

Ammy was following the dark swordsman looking at the ground and sighting, then Shadow Link suddenly stopped and Ammy bumped with his shield and then she said" What's wrong with you?" then he raised his voice and said" What's wrong with me?!, I'm tired of hear those sights of you like if you didn't know what to do " then Ammy said " what are you talking about?" then he started to get annoyed and said" how can you be so stupid? I'm talking about your little problem with the insect of my brother" then she felt hurt when he said that and said" don't ever dare to say that again about Link, he is not an insect" then Shadow Link said " oh, so now you care for him, tell me all mighty goddess of the sun what do you truly feel in your heart" then she looked away and almost crying she said " I- I want to be forgiven and to have another chance to be with him I truly want to but… I don't know what to do" then Shadow Link yelled" you don't know what to do? Didn't you asked yourself that before embarking on this quest? That's something that you must decide by yourself and be honest with your heart and express those feelings to him or there won't be a chance" then Shadow Link turned around and said "there's nothing worse than being alone for the eternity and to be a shadow that no one see, the less that you can do is to be honest and work your own way" Shadow Link then started to walk to the chief's chamber Ammy were able to pull herself together and followed Shadow Link and then he heard her whisper " Thanks".

Link were at the entrance of the volcano and then he sighted, Navi then said" Are you ok Link?" Link didn't answered and sitted in the ground looking at the floor then Issun said" C'mon man, you can't be so serious if you keep like this you'll die from your own tears" then Link said " Shut up Issun all I need is a little break that's all and besides, I'm not crying, I hardly cry" then he raised his look to the darkened sky of Hyrule and then said" how I'm supposed to keep going if I can't recover from this sadness" then Issun said" hey just relax, I know Ammy more than any of you and I know that was in love of you but she was too confused because of her duties as the goddess of the sun but she wants you" then Link gave a weak smile and said" thanks for being with me now that I need it" then Navi said " but remember you can't be so sensitive about her answers you have to think about her and what she have to do" Link sighted and said " guess you're right, but also to be here brings me memories of Volvagia" then Navi nodded and Issun asked "who's Volvagia?" Navi was about to give him a slap for that question and then Link said "Navi… forgive him… well, how to explain… Volvagia was a dragon who I bought in the market for fifty rupees and he saved me once but when I took the Master sword I was sealed for seven years in that period of time Hyrule were an inferno and Volvagia were attacking this mountain because he was being controlled by Ganondorf, I had no other option, he was about to kill someone and I just did it I cut his head off but just before dying he recovered the control and at his last moment he started to cry and said my name" then Issun was very sorry for asking and then Link got up and said " even if that was a tragedy I have to keep going so please don't tell anything about that to Ammy" and then he entered to the cave.

Both teams reunited once again and headed to the entrance of the temple and then they found in the fire temple's platform they saw a huge creature it was human like but his skin was light brown and had white hair and beard, he were fat but had muscles on his arms his back looked like of it were made of rock and then the creature said "so you're finally here brother but I'm afraid that this will be the end of our relationship as brothers because this volcano will be your grave" and then his eyes that were dark blue turned into black and his beard and hair passed from white to black and his skin darkened a bit then he curled up and charged as a cannon ball straight to Link and before landing on him a force field protected him from damage and then Link realized that Ammy used her own body to shield him and her natural force field were restored avoiding any damage, then the dark rock creature bounced off to the other side of the area, Link then said "Darunia, you have to control yourself" then Shadow Link said " don't waste your breath, he's a puppet now" and then he charged against Darunia enveloped in dark fire "dark meteor" he said and then impacted against Darunia, they were exchanging hits, one with the sword and the other with super goron fists, Shadow Link step back and Darunia gave an uppercut sending him to the air but in that moment Darunia grabbed his left feet and smacked him into the ground several times and the Thrown him straight to the lava, Ammy and Issun were wrried and Navi said " he's fine for now but he won't endure the heat for too much" then Link took his longshot and said" then we better take him out of there" and shot to the lava and when he started to pull he was being pulled to the edge, Ammy put her hands around Link's and helped him to pull and managed to release Shadow Link from the lava but Darunia jumped out and fell as a meteor against Ammy, but her force field were unusable again since it wasn't fully charged, however Link pushed her a side and managed to avoid the hit then Shadow Link created some chains of dark lava around Darunia's arms and then Ammy used her rosary to catch Darunia's legs and then Shadow Link and Link charged both their arrows of light and darkness and the dark aura came out of Darunia's body Shadow Link and Ammy released him and Shadow Link absorbed that negative energy, Darunia collapsed into the ground but he was alive, Link and Ammy then Looked at the other one and then they blushed (mainly Link) then Ammy got closer to him and took his hands and said " Link, I…" Link interrupted her and said" Ammy, I… I were selfish I didn't think about you and your feelings I'm sorry I understand if you don't want to see me again" then Ammy moved her head and said" you're wrong… Link I'm sorry for turning you down but now I want to ask you the same, Link, would you be my boyfriend?" Ammy was blushing for saying that and Link was even more blushed than her and said "I… I would like Ammy that would be the best thing that could happen to me but…" Ammy was worried for being rejected and then Link said turning away" could you cover yourself? Your kimono untied up in the fight" Shadow Link and Navi turned away too and Issun were being held in Shadow Link's hands to keep him from peeking Ammy blushed a lot and then she screamed Link took off his tunic leaving himself with his white pants and shirt and give it to Ammy without Looking then after some moments she said that they could look now and Link blushed bay seeing how sexy she looked on the tunic but before he could say something he collapsed all of the sudden, Ammy, Navi and Issun yelled his name and went to his side, however Shadow Link sighted and said " I told him to not push himself so hard at this rate we won't have a hero of time at all"
