a/n: I think this may be the first time I've actually written Roxanne, and I sort of like how she turned out here even though it's a bit different to how I normally see her.

There's something about Roxanne that's different from all of her cousins. She's not your typical Weasley girl, searching for her fairytale ending with the wrong guy, and she's not into games of lust and revenge. She's just straightforward, level-headed Roxanne who somehow manages to keep Dominique's schemes from getting too out of control and stop Lucy from getting too lost in books and prevent Rose from studying too much.
Maybe that's why they'll never really work together, because Teddy's always changing, from his emotions right down to his currently cerulean blue hair and Roxanne is like a rock, always constant and always dependable. She helps people and he hinders them (how many Weasley girls have had a crush on him, however ephemeral?). She heals people's hearts and he leaves a trail of broken ones everywhere he walks.
She's spiced orange, pleasantly tangy, and he's perhaps lemon, bitter and sour and everything she shouldn't like. She's on a crusade for happiness and he's just drifting, kind of lost but kind of not.
She's Roxanne and he's Teddy and they're never going to work, but she lives for the moment and he has nothing better to do so they give it a shot anyway and let the cards fall where they may.
