I've had a few ideas for the wedding part and how Shilo will leave Kings Landing but I'll speak about that when it's a bit closer to the chapter; there's a few things I've been thinking about and I'm interested in what you all think.

I've also been considering the wedding that Tywin wants to arrange for Shilo.

HermioneandMarcus - Thank you for your reviews! Glad you're enjoying it.

TenebrisMentis - Thank you so much for your review! I know, Oberyn is to die for, so gorgeous, I was worried I'd made Shilo to sound like a swooning fan girl. I certainly felt like one when I was writing about him. We'll just have to see, I'm sure you all know that Shilo won't take too well to the news of her upcoming wedding!

"You wished to speak to me, father?"

Jaime Lannister walked into the rooms of the hand of the king; it had been only hours since he had been here already. His father had given him the sword and asked if he had planned on staying in the kings guard now that he only had one hand. Jaime was convinced that being one handed would not stop him, he was having to learn how to use his left hand now and with the help of Bronn, he was learning how to use a sword. Soon he would be able to slice through the rest of the kings guard so easily, he didn't want any of them to know that he was having trouble fighting, he'd never hear the end of it.

"Sit."

Jaime resisted the urge to roll his eyes, even if his father was deep in thought writing to whatever lords about whatever business, Jaime knew he would see the eye roll and then he would just get a heap of shit like that. Even if he were nearing forty, his father could easily make him feel like a child again. Jaime sat down in front of his fathers desk and waited for his father to finish. What on earth could his father want now?

"Have you thought about what we discussed earlier?" Tywin asked, without looking up from his work.

He should have known, Jaime didn't even try to hide the irritation in his voice, "No. It doesn't require any thought father. I told you, I'm not leaving the Kings Guard."

"Don't be stupid Jaime." Tywin stopped writing and looked at his son, "You are my eldest son. Carrying on our family name relies on you."

"Or Tyrion, he has married Sansa. Once they have a child, it'll be a Lannister and will carry on the family name."

Tywin rolled his eyes, "And you expect me to hand Casterly Rock over to...to that. Casterly Rock will never belong to Tyrion, wife or not, he'll turn it into a whore house. You are my eldest son, it should go to you."

"Father, how many times. I am the lord commander of the Kings Guard and that will not change."

"Jaime, you're a one handed knight. You had the spot light, you were once the king slayer..."

"I will always be the king slayer to these people." Jaime hissed, "That will never change."

"No, but you know what has changed? Your abilities." Tywin argued, "You're not that aspiring knight anymore Jaime, you're a glorified body guard. And for three kings now."

"Are you trying to tell me that I'm no good at my job, father?"

"I'm trying to tell you that your time has passed Jaime!" Tywin raised his voice. "It's time to settle down, take up a wife and have some heirs; whilst inheriting Casterly Rock."

"You really should work on your subtly father."

Tywin stood and walked over to Jaime in a few strides, "You should really limit the time in which you keeps your brothers company; you're picking up some of his habits."

"Father..."

"You should be the next Lord of Casterly Rock." Tywin repeated, "And we have a lady ready to be wed, just waiting, right here in the capital."

Jaime cocked his head slightly at his fathers sneer, "And who would you be speaking of, father?"

"Shilo Arryn."

"Aunt Cat?"

A seven year old Shilo asked as she trailed after her aunt, who was speaking with Maester Luwin. The two adults speaking about the household, her uncle Ned would be joining them soon. He had was in the court yard with Rodrick Cassel training Robb, Jon and Theon. Even if the boys were only using wooden swords for the time being, each enjoyed it beyond anything. Learning to fight was apart of learning to be a man. just as learning to sew was apart of being a woman; or so Septa Mordane said. Shilo was alright at sewing, it was just boring. Lately, the child had taken to following Catelynn around; not that the woman minded.

"Yes Shilo?"

"Why aren't I with my mama?"

Catelynn ceased walking and shared a sad look with the maester, before turning to look at her little niece. "Don't you like being here?"

Shilo nodded, of course she loved being here. She loved spending her time with her cousins, her uncle had told her that her mother and father were in the capital s her father was the kings hand, a very important role. "Why aren't I with my mother and father? Don't they want me?"

Cat sighed, and crouched down to Shilo's level, cupping the child's face with her hands and placed a kiss onto her forehead. "They love you so much Shilo."

"Thank you." The child answered, "But I didn't ask that."

The maester smirked, the little girl was observant; yet still, she pulled at his heart strings.

"It's safer for you to stay here with us Shilo, Kings landing is a dangerous place. Your mother and father just want you to be safe."

"That's it?"

"That's it sweetheart." Cat smiled, standing up and taking Shilo's hand. "Besides, up here you have as much room as you need to fly little falcon."

"She's getting smarter every day Ned," Catelynn spoke in a hushed voice, "And you know she doesn't miss a thing."

Ned Stark laughed, it was true. Shilo Arryn had eyes like a hawk, be as sneaky as you like, she'll catch you in the act. Now at thirteen years old, Shilo had stopped asking why she wasn't in Kings Landing with her mother and father and little brother, but Ned suspected she still thought about it. Especially since Lysa and Jon allowed the boy to reside in Kings Landing, he knew Shilo must feel left out to a degree. And so he went the extra mile to make sure the girl knew she was a part of this family. Shilo had been in Winterfell since the age of five, she had spent the first four years in Kings Landing, but Ned and Cat suspected she remembered very little of it. Generally the normal age of which a child would be taken up as a ward was around nine or ten, yet they took in Shilo when she was young. Not that the lord and lady of Winterfell would have it any other way. Shilo was a part of the family; she was practically a Stark herself.

"I know, but Cat...how do we even say this to her?"

"Ned, it'll be hard but Shilo deserves to know. What must she think? Knowing that little Robin is in Kings Landing and not her?"

"But why upset her?" Ned sighed.

"Ned. I understand, it plagued my mind every time she would ask why she was in Winterfell and not Kings Landing. It's not an easy thing to explain to a child."

What an understatement, "Of course not, how do you tell an adult let alone a child that she isn't wanted."

"Ned!" Catelynn rebuked him, "You know Jon would happily have Shilo in the capital."

"Just not Lysa." Ned spoke grimly, "I'll never understand, she's such a sweet child. Troublesome, but show me a child that isn't."

"It's no fault of Shilo's, you know that. Lysa just never bonded with her." Cat said sadly, "Even when she first gave birth, she was adamant that Shilo wasn't hers. Lysa just felt nothing for the child; of course, it was so unfair on the child's behalf but it couldn't be helped it was just one of those things."

"Aye."

"And when Shilo was in the capital with them...Lysa just...she couldn't cope. Shilo wasn't a bad child but Lysa couldn't stand to be near her and Jon was only thinking of his wife when..."

Ned finished his wife's unfair yet true sentence, "When he shipped his child off to the north."

Neither Eddard or Catelynn had even realized their conversation hadn't been as private as they had thought until they heard the patter of soft footfalls.

Shilo jumped slightly and rushed to pull on a robe when Sansa burst through the door and into her rooms.

"Shy. I've been thinking, I know you're hurting and I am too but I can't do this without you and I refuse to go another day without..." Sansa trailed off, just now seeing her cousin in her undergarments and robe. "What are you doing?"

"You first."

Sansa allowed her cousin to tie her robe shut before taking her hands and leading them to sit on a bench together, "Well, I was walking back to my rooms after going to Margaery's gown fitting.."

"What's it look like?"

"Off topic. I was walking back and I was thinking about how much I need you and I've always needed you, and no matter what you've always been there. Even in the days after we heard about mother and Robb, you put me first. You let me cry and scream, and not once have I seen let any of it out. So I want you to know, I'm here for you."

Shilo smiled at Sansa, and took the auburn haired girl in her arms. "Thank you. I love you Sansa."

Sansa returned the hug, squeezing her cousin a bit. "I love you Shy."

The girls parted and Sansa looked down at Shilo's attire and laughed. Shilo blushed, "So, tell me about Margaery's gown."

"Oh no, cousin." Sansa laughed, watching her cousin get to her feet and look at the gowns thrown across her bed, "You had an invitation, if you had wanted to see it so badly, you would have came."

"I had more important matter to attend to, I was with your husband."

"Indeed?" Sansa inquired in a teasing tone.

"Shush, I was with him welcoming the Dornish guests."Shilo explained, "And I met two of them in the gardens before...and they invited me to dinner tonight."

"Oh? They seem friendly enough." Sansa smiled, "Who?"

"Ellaria Sands and Oberyn Martell."

"Oh...OH!" Sansa jumped up, "Oberyn Martell? As in Oberyn Martell...prince of Dorne? That Oberyn Martell?"

Shilo laughed, "Yes Sansa, that Oberyn Martell. What do I wear?"

Sansa walked over to the bed where Shilo had thrown a load of gowns, a few were in southern style, a few in the northern fashion, "Well, the nights are getting warmer; why not wear one of the gowns Lady Margaery gifted to you?"

"A Highgarden dress?"

Sansa dug through her cousins clothes until she found the garments she sought and pushed it into Shilo's hands before pushing her behind the changing screen. Shilo began to undress and dress. Sansa waited and then watched a uncommonly nervous Shilo emerge after a few minutes. Sansa stared at Shilo, she'd never seen her cousin in the Highgarden dress and she looked beautiful. Well, it was more of a two piece. The teal skirt was flowing down her body in long, light wisps. The material was as light and soft to touch as it looked. It started mid stomach and the end just brushed the floor. The top was a golden brown and resembled the top of the dresses that Margaery's hand maidens wore. It was pinned together with a round silver broach. On the broach was the sigil of Arryn, a birthday gift from Shilo's father many years ago. Sansa walked up to Shilo and took the brown belt off her cousin, before tightening the ties of the skirt. Taking the belt off of Shilo, left a strip of flesh, about an inch or two, bare.

"Sansa!"

Sansa moved back with the belt, and threw it onto the canopy of the bed before taking her cousin in her arms once more. "You don't need it. You're gorgeous."

Shilo blushed, "You always did love playing dress up."

A knock at the door caused the two to part, they heard someone calling for Shilo. Sansa pulled Shilo's dark locks out of the bun they had been pinned into. Shilo's wavy hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her back.

"Good luck Shy."

Sorry Sweeties! No Oberyn this chapter! He will be in the next chapter though don't worry.

Funny how I wrote out a plan for the next few chapters and I've very loosely stuck to it! I guess it's good to have at least a loose plan, although I do't have any plan for the days that Shilo and Oberyn are going to spend together, so if you guys have any ideas about what you would like to see then don't hesitate to tell me and I'll see what I can do!

Let me know what you think!
