"WHERE IS SHE!" Belle turned frantically her new heels slowing down her reactions. Red ran up to her

"Belle..."

"WHERE IS ROSE!" she said anxiously. The town was so familiar around her but she couldn't focus on anything.
"Why are we back in Storybrooke?" Snow said joining them.

"We need to find Rose!" Belle grabbed her hand and turned running towards the library.

4 HOURS EARLIER

"Alex, put that down!" Bae said chasing after the toddler. Cinderella laughed and hoisted Rose up on her shoulder. Scooping her up into his arms he walked back over to the picnic blanket "Does she ever slow down."

"Not really. Terrible twos and all that."

"How do you keep up."

"You basically stop sleeping."

"I wonder what Henry was like at this age." Baelfire said absentmindedly. "

"probably much the same." She smiled sadly at him as he sighed.

"You'll see him again. And Emma." He smiled at her.

"Let's get these two in for lunch. "

They stood and walked back into the castle passing half of the former Storybrooke inhabitants as they went. The castle was really beginning to feel like a surrogate home now, they were all slowly starting to accept and adapt to living here.

"Thank you!" Belle grinned as they walked into the main hall. "Lunch time darlings."

He watched as the two women walked away, the castles children in tow. Suddenly something passed over him raising the hairs on the back of his neck. He turned and ran back towards the garden only to see exactly what had just caused his Goosebumps.

"It's a flying monkey!" Red said running up from the vegetable garden. "It's trying to breach the barrier."

"Can we find Blue!" he said "and Regina!"

"It's her. She's here." Rumplestiltskin appeared at the door beside him.

2 hours earlier

"Regina, its coming apart you need to cover the west wall!" Blue shouted as the fairies struggled to hold up the barriers.

"I am trying!" she spat out. "You know losing your powers doesn't seem to have helped anyone Gold."

"I don't think the sarcasm is helping dearie!" Rumplestiltskin said pushing Belle further behind him.

The entire population was out on the lawn watching the battle commence those who could help holding weapons tightly. Astrid fell to the ground only to helped up by Grumpy

"It's coming down!" he yelled looking up at the crumbling protection spell. Then just as he said it there was a flash as a final push demolished their defences. The fairies were all thrown back on top of each other, as Regina collided with Baelfire.

A loud cackle sounded piercing the eardrums of everyone around. The shrill noise sending chills through them all. The green fog that had been looming for weeks now finally cascading over the walls, a dark figure materialising in front of them.

"Ah what a noble effort by you all." Belle blinked as the darkness took a solid form. A tall figure dressed head to toe in black strode towards them. It was only as the fog dissipated she realised that the woman's skin was also glowing green. "Hello my lovlies." The wicked witch grinned.

"What exactly do you think you're doing forcing your way in here?" Regina said taking a few strides forward.

"Winning apparently." Her grin widened. "Good to see you Regina."

"I wish I could say the same for you Elphaba" her Evil Queen sneer returning. "what are you doing back in the Enchanted Forest."

"I got bored." She shrugged.

"Well I'm sure you could think of something to do that doesn't involve me banishing you again."

They were nose to nose now, each sizing the other up.

"Oh dear. I don't see any chances of that happening. My time away has made me stronger. While you have only grown weak."

"What do you want." Snow White said stepping forward. The Green Witch didn't take her eyes off the Evil Queen.

"All I want is the girl." She said slowly. "then I'll let you all go back to your Charmed lives." She smirked.

"Emma isn't here." Charming stood up next to his wife. "You'd think you'd know that..."

The harsh screech left her once again and a few people recoiled again.

"Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not talking about your precious Saviour." She said finally looking over at them.

"Then who." Regina snapped.

"I want the magical child!" she said her voice full of venom. "Give her to me and you'll be left alone."

"What are you talking about!" Snow looked around. "There's no magical child here." she wipped her cloak around her the edge brushing off Regina. She paced forward and eyed them all up and down.

"Give me the dark ones child, or my darlings..." she raised a hand and the flying monkeys started moving forwards too. "... will rip her from you." Rumplestiltskin paled and stepped forwards.

"No."

"Oh there you are Rumplestiltskin. I didn't recognise you." She crossed her arms staring at him. "Mortality doesn't suit you."

"You can talk dearie. You're looking a little green." She was taller than him but he squared up to her. She let out a mini chuckle. "You are not getting my daughter."

"Oh you wouldn't want me to have wasted a trip now would you? That child is going to be the most powerful being in all the lands and I want that power." She said in a half whisper.

"you are not getting my daughter." He repeated voice rising.

"What do you mean most powerful being in all the lands. She has no power." Belle moved in front of Rumple.

"Ah this must be child's mother." she circled Belle, trying her best to intimidate her. "She's not what I was expecting Rumple. So ordinary and delicate. So young." She said slowly. Belle felt the blood rushing to her ears. "You used have a taste for such fiery women." She raised her eyebrows at Belle.

"You don't know who you're messing with" Belle said through gritted teeth. "you will never get my daughter."

"So be it." She turned. "Fly my pretties!"

The monkeys swarmed the castle flying low and knocking out those standing too close. Another laugh saw the wicked witch disappear into the fog again.

"Where is she?" Rumple said taking Belle's arms.

"With Ella." She whispered, her face paler than he'd ever seen it before.

They ripped the castle apart, pulling everything down. Cinderella stood with the cot behind her, Rose sleeping oblivious to it all and Alexandra was clung to her chest crying.

"Shh darling. We have to shhhh." She rocked her gently shooting looks between Rose and the door. Blue's spells seemed to be hiding the room like she said they would, she hadn't heard anyone in the hall for a few minutes now.

"I need to get to her!" Belle said as Regina grabbed her arm.

"You know that's the most foolish thing to do." She said. Rumple stood staring at the castle. His hands flexing.

"RIGHT MY DEARS." A voice boomed over the grounds causing Belles heart to pause once more. "If you won't give me the child I will just have to take her from you on a playing field that is more to my advantage." Belle turned and caught Rumples eyes, he saw nothing but pure terror in her eyes.

Belle opened her eyes slowly her head thumping. The cold floor under her cheek felt like the floor of the grand hall but she'd been out in the garden. As her arms moved she realised her floor length gown was gone. It was then she noticed the smell. She knew this smell. Suddenly she was awake and looking at the library. Standing up she noted the heels and skirt she was now wearing. They were back.

"RUMPLE!" she ran for the door and collided with Granny.

"We need to find Rose!"
