Stanley waited patiently on one of the rock formations, looking out in the distance.

"Mami is supposed to come back today, right?" Doc asked, who was standing next to him.

"Yep. She said she was checking in on someone and wanted me to meet them."

"Oh?" Doc raised an eyebrow. "Are they mortal?"

"No. She said it was another Puella Magi so no contract problems with this meeting. She didn't say who though."

"I see. Well, guess we're both in for a surprise."

"Yep."

It wasn't long before two figures could be seen approaching. Mami and someone younger than her.

Mami was laughing, trying to lead them along. "Come on, you can look at all the things later!"

"B-But that restaurant smelled like cake!" A young girl with long white hair said, pouting a little, holding onto Mami's right arm. "Can we get some later?"

"Yes but later isn't now."

Stanley chuckled, hopping down from where he was standing, Doc following after.

"Oh Mami!" He called out.

Mami looked up, grinning. She broke off from the girl, throwing her arm around him. "Stanley!"

Stanley laughed, spinning her around as he embraced her. "You're home! Glad to have you back."

Mami sighed, happily hugging him a little tighter. "Missed this place so much. Oh! Almost forgot. I want to introduce you to someone."

Stanley smiled. "You said." He eyed the girl Mami had brought with her.

She was young, around eleven, her hair being parted a bit with two small ponytails at the top. She waved shyly, rolling her shirt sleeve up a bit. "H-Hi."

"This is Nagisa." Mami said, gesturing to her. "She's been staying at my old place for awhile. She was all by herself, newly contracted and all so…"

"Mami's my big sister!" Nagisa chirped, grinning.

"Yep. Adopted."

Stanley chuckled. "I see." He pulled away from Mami, kneeling down to Nagisa's level. "I'm Stanley." He looked over to Doc, waving an arm to him. "And this is my fellow Remembered, Doc Hudson."

Doc gave a nod. "Pleasure to meet you."

Nagisa nodded quickly, smiling. "Nice to meet you both. Big sis told me about you. Said you're warriors like us!"

"That's right. We're Remembereds." Stanley showed his Anchor Gear. "We're a lot like Puella Magi, just a few differences in contracts and other things."

"Yep." Mami nodded leaning against the rock formation. "They have more armor-esque battle garb. For one I'm grateful. No offense Stanley but you and Doc would look pretty weird in dresses."

Nagisa covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. Big SIS!

Stanley and Doc threw their heads back laughing.

"Oh ho ho ho, I don't think I'd live it down if Lightning ever saw me in a DRESS of all things." Doc howled.

"And Lizzie would never let you hear the end of it." Mami grinned, looking to Stanley. "But yeah, they got the weapons and they got the skills. Just like we do."

"Cool! I'm still learning but Mami's the best teacher EVER!" Nagisa smiled, going over to the girl and hugging her. "She's awesome. Though there was that-"

Mami covered her mouth. "Let's agree to never speak of that again,Little Sister." Yeah, no one needs to know I kicked Kyubey off a building when I found out how young Nagisa was.

"I'm… not gonna ask." Stanley started. "Though I'm curious about Nagisa's contract if that isn't too much to ask."

Nagisa went a little quiet. "... I was sick. I wanted to get better so I could eat again."

"Ah, I see. You poor thing."

"It's okay now though. Kyubey let me wish so I could be well again and I'm happy." Nagisa said quickly, giving a sheepish look. "I'm just happy to be alive."

Mami ruffled her hair. "Little fighter she is. Took down a Wraith all by herself."

"That's great, Mami." Stanley said, smiling. "Glad I got to meet her. I think we should celebrate."

Doc smirked. "I heard Flo made some extra cheese cake down at the V8 Cafe."

Mami laughed. "We could smell it all the way down the road!"

Nagisa jumped up and down. "Cheesecake! Cheesecake! I want some! Can we pleeeaaaase, Mami?"

"Well, that's what we'll celebrate with." She laughed. "She loves cheesecake. Actually, anything cheese related."

Stanley chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind then. Doc, think you could get some?"

"Be right back. Find us a spot to eat."

Stanley nodded before Doc ran off to the town.

"While he's getting food, we'll get some picnic stuff from my wife."

"Wife?" Nagisa asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Yep, Lizzie. She's someone I'm married to."

"Oh! Cool!" She squealed.

Mami smiled. "Yep. Lizzie's so nice."

"Can agree." Stanley gave a wave of his arm as he started to walk. "Come on."

They followed him into town and to Lizzie's little home.

"Lizzie?" He asked.

Lizzie was in her rocking chair, knitting as she looked up. She smiled softly.

"Evening, Stanley."

He smiled back, going over to her and giving her a kiss on the head. "Just came to get some picnic stuff. Do we still have the old blanket?"

" be in the corner cabinet. What's the occasion?"

"Well…" Stanley looked behind him to Mami and Nagisa. "Mami made a new friend."

Nagisa stepped forward. "Hi! I'm Nagisa!" She chirped. "You're Lizzie right?"

Lizzie smiled. "That's right." She looked Nagisa over. "So young."

"I'm eleven!" She said with a bit of pride. "I'm gonna be twelve in six months!"

"She's a little hyper." Mami said sheepishly. "She was hungry on the way over so I gave her some candy. She's got more pep than usual."

"No I don't!"

"Case in point."

Lizzie giggled. "It's quite alright. Nice to have some young energy around here." She patted Nagisa on the head. "So cute."

She nuzzled her hand a little. "Hee."

"Well, just like you Mami, she's welcome to come here anytime she wants. My door is always open."

"Thank you so much." Mami smiled giving a nod. "We really appreciate it. Right, Little Sis?"

"Yeah! Thanks, Lizzie." Nagisa smiled. "I'll even help out if you want! I can dust things and stuff."

Mami mouthed: "Don't leave her alone with candy." while Nagisa wasn't looking, pretending to be studying her nails when the younger girl looked to her.

Lizzie nodded.

Stanley appeared in the room with the picnic blanket. "Got the blanket. We better go see if Doc was able to get that cheese cake."

Lizzie giggled. "You all go have now, be safe."

"We will." Mami grinned. "We'll keep Stanley out of trouble."

Stanley smirked. "Cause I'm such a handful." He gave his wife a kiss on the cheek. "I'll come back later tonight."

"I'll be waiting." Lizzie said, giving him a kiss in return.

… Awwww. Both girls thought, trying to keep it in. "That is really sweet." Nagisa whispered as Mami nodded.

"Alright Girlies, to the V8 cafe." Stanley said as he headed out.

"Coming!" Mami said, following, waving goodbye to Lizzie as Nagisa did the same, running a bit to catch up.

"Hey! You got long legs I don't!"

"Height's no excuse when dessert's involved!"

Stanley chuckled as he led the way. They went to the back of the cafe to see Doc holding a cheese cake in his arms.

"Lightning was able to get us a whole cake. Flo had made so much that there was a ton of leftovers."

"Awesome." Mami grinned.

Nagisa gave a puppy dog look. "C-Can we have the picnic now?" It looks so yummy! "And what kind is it?"

"Traditional cheesecake if I'm correct." Doc answered. "Lightning gave me some chocolate too since I mentioned Nagisa."

"... You're my new favorite." The girl said with utter seriousness.

Doc chuckled. "Well, shall we set up somewhere?"

"I believe the center rock formation should suit us. Gonna make one last stop." Stanley said, handing the blanket to Nagisa. "I'll meet you there."

"Okay."

They broke off, heading their separate ways.

Up on the rock formation the picnic was set up quickly. They all waited patiently for Stanley to return. Not too long after, he appeared having milk and oil in his arms.

"Can't have cheesecake without something to wash it down."

"Thanks, Stanley." Mami nodded. Nagisa nodded but she was eying the cheesecake, looking almost hypnotized. "Plus I don't think this one can take much more waiting."

"Soon. My prreeccioous."

Stanley shook his head. "Well then, the wait is over."

He sat down, passing around the milk and oil before cutting a piece of cheesecake for everyone. "Eat up!"

They ate, talking some. Mami sighed in content, looking around. She was glad to be back where she belonged. Home sweet home. She went to take another bite of her cheesecake only to come up with nothing. "What the-"

Nagisa quickly took a drink of milk to hide any suspicion. "Did it disappear?"

"You little…!"

Stanley and Doc laughed. "Any dessert's worst enemy, a hyper child with a sweet tooth!"

"Even worse! A hyper Puella Magi with a sweet tooth!"

"Well she was takin' FOREVER! It would've gone bad. I was doing her a favor!"

Stanley shook his head. "Goodness gracious."

Mami shook her head as well, ruffling Nagisa's hair. "This little one is the reason my cabinets in Japan are bare most of the time."

She giggled. "Hey! Mami, stop! That tickles!"

"I know it does you little food thief!"

Doc looked to Stanley. "I think things just got more interesting."

"Agreed."
