Chapter 10
A week had passed since then. The Hitachiin brothers invited everyone to their rest house nearby the sea. It was a fine day until a certain little creature cause confusion around the place.
"Hikaru, have you seen a black cat running around? It has a bell around its neck."
"No. Why?"
"My cat is missing!"
"You brought it here?"
"No! It seemed to have slipped in the basket that I brought."
"You brought a basket?" Kaoru asked.
"Yeah, cause I baked cookies for everyone."
"As thanks, we will form the Search for Haruhi's Cat brigade!"
"YEAH!" Everybody cheered except Kyoya, Haruhi and the quiet Mori.
"The neko will come around. I'll just wait here at the living room," says Kyoya.
As soon as everyone left, the little one revealed himself in front of the Shadow King.
"~meow~"
"Hey there little guy! So you're just sleeping under the sofa, huh? You made quite a commotion."
The cat purred then jumped on his lap.
"Are you asking me not to tell them? Alright." Kyoya pet the cat's fur and smiled.
Meanwhile, the others tiredly went back to the living room. They failed in finding the cat. What they saw made them smile. Kyoya fell asleep sitting at the sofa while the feline slept at his lap.
"Kyo-chan!"
"KYO-CHAN?"
