"I can't believe you slept through the whole night!" Neru said with a slightly dropped jaw. "Does that even count?"

Miku shrugged. "Maybe it does because I was calm enough to sleep, or maybe it doesn't because I was too out of it to be aware of my surroundings."

Neru crossed her arms. "Slept the whole time or not you did spend three hours in the forest, so I guess that means you win."

Miku didn't get a chance to say anything for the teacher walked in to classroom. "Everyone, settle down," the teacher, Megurine Luka, said. "Today we have two new students."

Miku heard everyone in the class whisper. Maybe this was what Miku's classmates did when the teacher announced her as a new student.

Two teenagers walked in to the room. Miku stared at them, taking in their appearance. One was a girl with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes, and the boy looked just like her. Miku didn't know why, but she found them both familiar. Miku thought they looked so familiar that she began to feel nostalgic.

"Why don't you introduce yourselves to the class," Luka said.

"I'm Kagamine Rin!" the girl chirped. She looked so bubbly and innocent that nobody could help but smile at her stature.

"And I'm her brother, Kagamine Len," the boy said shyly. Both bowed and said together, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Why don't you two take a seat over there," Luka pointed to the empty seats in the back of the room. Miku noticed the seats were right behind her. Miku smiled sweetly at the twins as they passed by her.

After the twins sat down Luka asked "Would anyone like to share what they did last night for Halloween?" Miku and Neru's hand shot up at the same time. "Well," Luka said, "How about we let Miku go first." Miku usually never volunteered to speak so Luka wasn't going to let the opportunity go to waste.

Miku stood up and flattened her skirt with her hands. When she was ready she began, "For Halloween I spent the night in the supposedly haunted forest. Don't ask why I did, but I did." Miku looked at Neru to see her reaction. Despite Neru's dislike towards Miku, Neru looked thankful at Miku for not snitching.

"Anyway," Miku continued, "I heard whispers so I followed them, and the whispers led me to two children, both who looked no more than twelve. They invited me to play with them so I accepted, but it turned out they weren't children at all: They were the dolls I had lost as a child! They wanted my heart and were going through extremes to get it. I avoided death time and time again, but I knew that if I didn't make it out of there they would kill me. I hid under a bed and waited for one to leave, but the boy found me and soon his sister walked in and threw her knife at me! And then!" Miku gasped. "And then! And then . . . I woke up."

The classroom burst with laughter. "Where did you get that crazy story?" a student, Gumi, asked aloud.

"I honestly dreamt it last night," Miku said. "No joke."

The class continued to laugh so Miku just sat down. She felt a tap on her shoulder so she turned around. "That was actually really funny," the new girl, Rin, said. Rin beamed such a cheerful smile that Miku couldn't help but smile back.

"I liked it too," the boy, Len said. He didn't try to make eye contact with Miku, but she could tell he was blushing.

Miku giggled and mouthed a thank you to the both of them before Luka had gotten the class under control. The rest of the morning went undisturbed until Luka called lunch break.

Miku noticed everyone getting into their usual group. Nobody ever invited her to sit with them so she always ate alone. She was about to start eating her lunch before she remembered the blonde duo behind her. She turned her head to see the two of them about to eat together. Miku stood up and walked to their table. "Would it be okay if I eat with you?" she asked. "I was the new kid last year so I don't want either of you to feel left out like I did."

The twins looked at her before looking at each other. Finally Rin smiled, looked at Miku, and said "I don't mind, and I don't think Len does either."

Miku pushed her table next to theirs then sat down and began digging into her food.

"Thanks for not leaving us out," Rin said.

Miku smiled. "Anytime. I'll stick around until you make some friends, if you want."

"Why can't you be our friend?" Len blurted out. When his eyes met Miku's he looked away shyly as a blush climbed up his cheeks.

Miku held back a giggle that threatened to escape. "I would actually love to be friends."

"Then it's settled," Rin said with a little food in her mouth, "we are all friends now."

"Since we're friends," Miku said, "then would it be okay if I called you two Rin-Chan and Len-Kun?" Rin cheerfully agreed while Len just bobbed his head up and down while trying to hide his face under his fringe. "Oh!" realization hit Miku. "I never even introduced myself! I'm Hatsune Miku."

"Would it be okay if I called you Miku-Chan?" Rin asked while a giggle escaped her.

"It's the only thing I ever want to hear you call me," Miku said. She took in their faces and let out a deep breath. "I can't explain why, but I feel the three of us are going to be best friends!"

Author's Note: I finally finished this fanfic. :) Took me long enough, but it's finished.

Anonymous: Awww, thank you! God bless you, too!

Zhane17: Well it has to end sometime. T-T And I don't know what Len-Kun whispered in Miku-Sama's ear. XP That is supposed to always be a mystery, even for the author herself! Thank you for your continuous support. :)

Since I'm sure this last chapter has everyone confused I will take the time to explain it. After Rin-Chan and Len-Kun crossed over time was, you can say, reset. The whole world became as if Rin and Len never were dolls, so Miku never had them as a child. Miku only remembered them because of her dream, but she never connected the new students as being her old dolls. As for Rin-Chan and Len-Kun, they were reborn with no memories of their past lives. So technically, it was all a dream. :P Well it did happen, but after the time reset it only happened in Miku-Sama's dream.

Anyway, I want to thank all my wonderful reviewers. You guys are the best. Also a big thank you to all who followed and favorited this story. God bless you all. :)
