The Chaser is really an organization. It is composed of 5 groups, each with a leader and a vice leader to manage them.

At the center of the organization are two people. One is the head - call him whatever you want - boss, captain, chief, or whatever. The other, is his assistant, also called the secretary.

The 5 groups are those who run errands for the head. Most of them are already described on TV: they are the Chasers seen by witnesses. The head and his assistant are the director and the producer, and the others are the actors. Just like a movie. Only, it is not a camera effect to how they can run fast, without breaking a sweat. It is a mystery.

That would be this organization's secret.

And their motive? Why on Earth are they chasing people in Ikebukuro?

... That is another secret.

An apartment near Kawagoe Highway, 10:22 am

Tsuna and the others were in the apartment by themselves. Celty was out for her job as courier. Shinra has something to do - Tsuna heard the name "Yagiri" when he left, but he had no idea what that meant. They just watched TV, resting themselves and owning the apartment for just a few hours.

Dollars. Chaser. Vongola.

Somehow, Tsuna knew that the gangs and the mafia famiglia are connected. How he even thought about the Vongola, he didn't even know. His Hyper Intuition got the better of him. He just felt like they went to Ikebukuro for this reason, not just to have a tour. With the current situation, it's not a coincidence for them to be here.

Ah, so many questions to ask. Who planned all of this? What now? Why are they doing this?

Tsuna decided to find that out after solving the Chaser case.

"Solving the Chaser case?" Hehehe, this makes me feel like a detecti-

"Dame-Tsuna." A bullet came flying towards Tsuna, but he quickly dodged. The bullet hit the sofa instead.

"What the-REBORN!?"

Reborn sat on top of the TV, holding Leon as a gun. "You were making a weird face."

"That's your reason!?"

"Anyway, your reflexes are improving." Reborn smirked. "That's good, since that was an actual killing bullet."

"EH!?"

"Pay attention to the news on TV."

"H-hai..."

Those last logs that Orihara Izaya sent on the chat might make his chat mates feel weird. Who knows, it could reveal that Kanra is Izaya.

Well, why should I even think about that?

Any person can say that in a chat. Such an open log can have many meanings. He should wait for their reactions, as a full-fledged human observer. But while waiting, Izaya thought of something else.

Izaya moved his chair to the TV. It's not that he likes watching TV. Their shows are predictable. Corny. Exaggerated. And not to mention fake. He dislikes acting for entertainment. He just loves humans just the way they are.

He just turned it on to observe humans. And to observe humans while literally only sitting on his home, he needs a news show. Thank humans for creating this kind of show. But sometimes Izaya already knew what would be featured in the news. This time, he knew there will be news about the Chaser.

A strange criminal, called the Chaser, has been disturbing Ikebukuro and western Shibuya. His or her identity has yet to be revealed, and the people who claimed to be victims had different answers.

"It's a man - a fat guy with green glasses!"

"There was a brown haired guy with a mustache, I remember..."

"A girl wearing a yellow chicken hat. And even

"It's a lady, right? Yeah, and like, she had red nails. Judging from the quality of the color... I remember that she seemed to have, like, imported nail polish? You know, like-"

Through these answers, we can assume that the identity of the Chaser is a secret group. The police are thinking the same thing, but there are no leads to who their leader is.

Officer Kanakami Arai, in charge of the investigation:

"WE STILL HAVE NO LEADS T-

Reborn turned the volume down with a poker face. Tsuna sweatdropped. He knew Reborn was annoyed by the sudden loud voice.

"Oya, oya," Izaya turned the volume down. "Rai-chan should really keep his voice down."

"-O WHO'S PULLING THE STRINGS! POSSIBLE ACCUSATIONS ARE THE INFAMOUS DOLLARS GANG HERE IN IKEBUKURO, BUT THERE IS NO PROOF THAT CAN SUPPORT THIS SUDDEN ACCUSATION, SIR!"

The modus opperandi of this so-called Chaser is that he or she suddenly chases a seemingly random person while holding a knife. The latest information says that the criminal has not killed anyone, but only wounded. Witnesses who claim to be chased say that the chase ends when the Chaser touches them, or their belongings, or steals something. The criminal then mysteriously disappears.

Yesterday, the Chaser had two "victims," confirming that it is indeed an organization. We were not able to get information about the first one other than his "chase" ending in a sushi restaurant. We do have information about the second. This name is Rintara Ato-san, a middle aged man. His phone was stolen. This report is brought to you by-

Reborn turned off the TV. "Hmph. It just gets stranger by the moment."

"So the Chaser had two victims at the same day." Tsuna said. "It's not just Mikado-kun... It's good that the reporters didn't find out anything about him."

"But there's information about the other victim... what was his name again?" Hayato slumped on the sofa.

"Rintara Ato." Takeshi said.

"Still no leads to the extreme?" Ryohei sighed. "What kind of officer is that?"

Tsuna tried to think again, this time about Officer Kanakami. During that time when they helped Mikado out, he noticed that the officer seemed to see through the illusion. That was suspicious. Or was it...?

Eh, Tsuna sighed, scratching the back of his head. Maybe I was just thinking through things too much.

"Another thing." Ryohei changed the topic. "Hibari didn't come."

"Maybe he didn't know where to go after arriving here?" Takeshi asked.

"No, I also gave him the directions to this place." Reborn said.

"Maybe he decided not to go. That bastard." Hayato frowned.

"Maybe..." Tsuna mumbled. Now that they mention it, where is Hibari?

Sawada Residence, same time

I-pin and Fuuta were playing outside as Bianchi watched the same news on TV.

"Ikebukuro in Tokyo?" The place caught her attention. "Maman, isn't that the place where Reborn took them to?"

Sawada Nana peeked from the kitchen. "Ikebukuro? Ah! That's right, that's the place for their field trip. I wonder if they know about those criminals? I hope they're okay..." She sighed in worry.

"Well... Reborn is with them. I don't think Tsuna and his friends would get into trouble, too." Bianchi reassured, giving Nana a thumbs up. "Besides, they're not in the news."

"Hn, you're right. I should have trust in them, ne?" Nana nodded to herself, smiling, then went back to her chores.

Bianchi turned back to the TV, her smile turning into a frown.

Why does the Chaser sound so familiar, she thought..

Orihara Izaya's apartment in Shibuya, same time

"Oho, they even featured Mikado-kun and Ato-chan. They researched pretty well... but not as good as I did." Izaya smiled, turning off the TV.

Now, let's see what happens next...

An apartment near Sunshine 60, same time

The first thing that Ryuugamine Mikado checked was the feed on the Dollars website.

"I knew it..."

As he scrolled through the feed, he passed through messages like:

[Leader-sama! Daijoubu!? They say you were "Chased"! Kyaah!]

[then, the unnamed guy aside from that rintara ato was admin-san?]

[it could be a coincidence. i hope he's fine.]

Mikado chuckled to himself. "Everyone's worried..."

His smile disappeared quickly when he read a comment from a Dollars member.

[E to, I think I saw Admin-san ending the chase inside Russia Sushi.]

[Ehh, seriously!? OAO]

[Some people helped him out, and among those people, a small kid announced that that guy wasn't Admin-san.]

[a kid?]

[Yeah. But maybe that guy actually wasn't Admin-san? I don't even know. It was really strange, those people...]

Mikado sighed. It'd be better to not say a word about it. He shouldn't lie to Dollars, but he shouldn't tell everything right away. He put down his phone and went to the usual chatroom, but nobody's online. He checked Kanra's last log.

"No, that's impossible," he brushed that thought off. "No way, no way."
