Chapter 10
B.P.O.V.
Jacob had told her all he knew and now she knew that something was up. But how was she supposed to do anything to stop it? At the same time that it felt great to remember her feelings for these people in her life, she was also scared. Maybe some of the memories were scary and she didn't want to remember. Like those creatures she saw. The beast like men who were facing off, the ones she somehow was willing to put herself in between. The wolf. She definitely didn't want to remember the wolf.
Later she had gone home and had taken a nap. When she woke up she immediately thought of Mr. Cullen. Edward. She called him Edward. Maybe. So she took out the number and texted.
B: Want to see you. Where do you want to meet?
E: Come outside.
B: Outside my house? Why are you here?
E: Come see me. I'll tell you.
She felt a small shiver of unease and then a feeling of utter excitement build up. She quickly freshened up and then silently scooted past Charlie's room and down the stairs. She eased the front door open and looked out into the yard. Through the blackness she could see an outline leaning against a silver car.
Stupid shiny-whoa. Where did that come from?
She suddenly couldn't wait and so she ran the rest of the way across the yard. As if it were by reflex more than decision she stopped running at least a yard before she got to him and apologized before she knew she said the words.
"Why are you apologizing?" He smiled but then looked uneasy. He seemed to be thinking about something too. "Have you done that before?"
"What?" she asked. He shook his head. She then intently stared into his eyes and moving much slower than she wanted to she approached him. She looked up into his face as she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him down to her.
"Kiss me." She said it, not asking, but demanding. He obliged. She shivered as the visions filled her head. She hoped he could see them too.
