Rebekah sat on the bed quietly in the room as Klaus through his temper tantrum. She didn't understand what his problem was. Him and Caroline are going good what does he need to fret about.
Klaus threw the table to the wall and ripped some of his pantings apart tossing them into the fire. "Stop this madness!" Rebekah yelled flashing over and grabbed her brothers face.
One moment Caroline was here and he was happy, but as soon as Caroline left he lost it and started to destroy everything.
Rebekah cupped his face and saw the sorrow in his eyes. "I just got her Bekah," his voice was in a whisper from the hurt he felt inside his chest. "I just got her and now she will hate me."
Rebekah was confused Niklaus was man things, but fearful was not one of them. Did Caroline say or do anything to give him that impression? "I don't follow?"
"The Doppelgänger had arose Bekah."
Rebekah shook her head still not understanding. "Okay this is great you can break the hybrid curse."
Klaus threw a bottle of liquor to the fire making the flames ignite. He stood up straight and began to yell, "the bloody Doppelgänger is her best friend!"
Rebekah flopped down on the couch and frowned. Her brother wanted to be happy, but he also wanted to rid himself of the curse. How could he have both? The simple answer to that...he can't.
Bonnie tried to get the men's face out of her head as Caroline went on and on about how great Klaus was. She was about to show them a picture but the pizza came and they forgot all about it. Stefan laugh watching Bonnie and Caroline dance with a bottle of scotch resting in on hand.
Caroline flashed over and grabbed Stefan's hand making him dance, but he refused to.
"Come on Stefan don't be a buzz kill!" Bonnie whined grabbing his hand and pulled him to his feet. "Fine." Bonnie said bitterly. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Caroline came back in a flash with rope tying them on his hands and feet, flashing back up the stairs. She moved him like a puppet with Bonnie's help making him scream and laugh.
After a few hours they settled down and all laid on the bed Caroline head her head on Stefan's lap, Stefan had his head on Bonnie's, and Bonnie had he head on Caroline's forming a triangle. "Okay can girls night just always be us three?" Caroline laughed letting her hands fall to her stomach. They were all drunk, but Caroline a tad but more. And when she means tad she means she drunk 5 more bottles than anyone else chugging them like water.
Caroline got out the bed and reached for her phone. "What are you doing?" Stefan asked getting off the bed gently to not disturb Bonnie who was sleeping not having nightmares this time.
"I'm going to call Klaus." She tried to stand straight, but couldn't causing her to fall over. Stefan flashed over be picked her up in his arms.
"How about we go home? Yes?" Caroline nodded and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Why are you so good to me Stefan?" She whispered into his neck.
"Because I love you Caroline. You are my sister." He felt her smiled and hear her even breathing showing she was asleep.
Rebekah rubbed her brothers back trying to figure what to say.
"I have to see her." Klaus sat up quickly and walk to the door, but Rebekah flashed in front of him pushing her hands to his chest.
"And what will you sat Klaus? Your going to kill her best friend just think of a way you can tell her okay!" He nodded cupping Rebekah's face giving her a soft smile.
"Good night."
They next day Caroline rubbed her head as she for ready for school. She didn't know how she got home but most likely it was from Stefan. She smiled at the thought of Klaus kissing her as she looked at the pictures in her phone. Caroline looked around for her black leather jacket to wear with her all white dress. "FUCK!" She screamed remembering it was at her moms house. The same house she was not aloud to go to. Her mom would understand right?
Caroline drove to the house nervous. All she need was a jacket then she would be gone but talking to her mom, just coming face to face with her is what scared her. When she pulled up Caroline breathe heavily "okay this is it now or never."
Caroline knock on the door and her mother opened it with a huge smile, while till she saw who was at the door. "What are you doing here?"
Caroline fumbled with her thumbs and moved her hair behind her ears. "I needed to get something." Caroline was about to walk inside but she seen someone she never though she would see again. "Dad?"
Was the last thing she said before she heard a loud bang and felt a sharp pain in her stomach causing everything to go black.
Stefan sat in class looming at Caroline's empty seat. She left earlier this morning so why was she late? This was beyond weird. He smile when he saw a blonde walk in, but it wasn't Caroline. "Hello Class please welcome, Rebekah Nikson." Rebekah rolled her eyes at the last minute last name choice. Her mind couldn't come up with anything better.
Rebekah looked around and her eyes widen. She saw a face she never thought she would see again. She saw Stefan.
She took the seat next to him and smiled. "Hi." She said shyly.
"Hey." Stefan smiled kindling not paying to much attention still worrying about Caroline. Rebekah notice a dark skin girl lean into him angering her. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and listened.
"Stefan where's Caroline?" Rebekah squeezed the end of the table and listen carefully.
"I don't know she left my home earlier this morning." Rebekah's eyes widen. Was Caroline cheating on Nik? While klaus is there worrying about Caroline, she is rolling in the bed with someone else.
"Why she leave early?"
"Maybe to go meet with that Klaus guy she been telling is about."
"Have you asked Damon?"
"No, but you know he doesn't care about Caroline. He is just letting her stay with us because I begged him." Stefan turn in his seat to face the brown haired girl completely.
"She could be at her moms."
"No." Stefan started. "Her mom kicked her out for being a vampire and said she never wanted to see Caroline ever again...that's the last place Caroline would want to go."
Rebekah's heart squeezed. She was glad Stefan and Caroline didn't have anything going on and it was more like a best friend/sister kind of thing, but it was sad that her mom would tell her that.
"Well most likely she's with Klaus." Stefan smiled, but Rebekah could tell her wasn't buying if. Before she could stop herself she spun in her chair and tapped his shoulder.
"Ummm...Yes." Rebekah felt her anger rose but she pushed it back down. Why couldn't he remember her? Maybe it was something Mikael did to hurt her.
"Are you speaking of Caroline Forbes?"
"Yes...how do you know her?"
"She's dating my brother. Now enough with the greetings I was just hearing what you were saying and I wanted to tell you Caroline isn't with my brother."
Stefan's eye brows narrowed and he leaned back in his seat. "Caroline's missing."
Rebekah stood up quickly and and walked toward the the door. "Excuse me! Where are you going?" Rebekah remained silent as she walked to the door. "Ma'am." The old lady yelled grabbing Rebekah's arm. It was reflex and she reached up to the ladies neck and snapped it. The kids began to scream. "Shit!"
"EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" She compelled. "Forget everything that just happen or was discussed in this class!" Rebekah flashed out the school taking the woman's body.
Everyone blinked few times and looked around confused. "The teachers gone lets leave." One student said walking out the class. Bonnie stood up and placed her back on her shoulder with Stefan following.
"NIK!" Rebekah yelled running in her house. She just got done dumping the body and was in full panic mood. "NIK ANSWER ME!"
Klaus rolled his eyes hearing his sisters yells. He told her not to go to school. It wouldn't be fun, but she didn't listen. She bursted I the room and was breathing heavily. "What is it, Bekah? I'm busy." Klaus looked back at her current sketch of Caroline he was working on.
"It's Caroline."
Klaus flashed to her so they were face to face. "What about Caroline?"
"She's missing, Nik."
