Never Ever Land Part II

By: Linkmaste

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon, Tinkermon nor Petermon. I own Iris, Leon, Lindenmon.

Iris squealed as we started to fly down. Tinkermon helped us land on the grass and I felt the ground on my bare feet. I forgot my shoes and I felt weird but somehow, I felt good that I could feel the grass on my feet. It was still dark out but I felt good that I could see the moon. Moon was good. Moon was always there and lit the way at night when I wanted to avoid the monsters.

I searched for other children but we were just in an open field filled with grass, the moon and stars. I folded my arms.

"Where are the other kids?" I asked, pouting. Tinkermon waved a hand. She didn't look like she cared about the fact that there were no other kids here.

"Over here silly, we have to see Petermon though and he will give you some cake and ice cream."

My mood changed. Cake and ice cream? This was the best! We cheered. Iris was jumping up and down shouting 'Cake and ice cream'. Her hair was falling out of her poof that Mommy puts on top of her head. Her hair was all over her face now sticking to her mouth and sweaty face. I went to fix my hair because it was messy too and I felt my horns. At least my hair covered them. Tail was still hidden under my pyjamas, wrapped around my body. Tail is still shy.

We went into a strange place after the grass and trees. It was a large looming tree, like a in the stories that Mommy reads us-but it had lights hanging around it and no leaves were on it. The lights were so pretty, glowing softly making everything seem blurry and magical. The grass was not green like before but a pale brown. Some parts were hard on my bare feet so I stayed on brown grass and Iris did too. Tinkermon lead the way. I looked upwards. Up, up, up on the branches was another person. It was a he and he was black. Like night. I could make out red eyes and I felt suddenly scared. Who was this night person? Didn't anyone else see him?

"Petermon! I'm back!" Tinkermon called out.

The black night person disappeared into thin air. I gasped. No one else seemed to see the black night person but I did. I noticed.

Another fairy came out of the tree that looked like Tinkermon but didn't have any wings. He wore green clothes and only had one eye showing. It was red. Blond hair covered his face and he wore a funny hat that had a feather on it. It was a pretty red feather and I wanted to touch it. But I would ask later. Mommy says you should always ask before petting animals so this is like the same thing. I think.

"Hello, children." Petermon spoke in a nice voice. Very soft and gentle. He seemed nicer than Tinkermon. "I have cake for you. Would you like some?"

"Yes!" screamed Iris but, I hit her. Sorry Mommy. Sorry Daddy.

"You're supposed to say please." I told her. I can tell her to do stuff because I'm older than her and I'm the bigger one. She pouted, but didn't hit back.

"Yes, please." we both said in our 'polite voices'.

The air smelled different then like cinnamon, cotton candy, and sweetness. I took a breath in and loved the smell. Iris did too. It was making my head spin and everything felt fuzzy and warm, like when Mommy holds me or we have our bath time. I yawned.

"Candy." Iris said.

"It smells like candy." I translated to Tinkermon and Petermon. Sometimes my sister is hard to understand.

"You two have good noses." Tinkermon commented in a odd voice, looking at us. "Other children like you wouldn't have smelled that."

"We have the best noses." I replied. Tinkermon doesn't know we have better senses than other kids our age.

Petermon brought us two slices of cake and we ate them with our fingers. It had white frosting and rainbow sprinkles. It tasted delicious and yummy and then two bowls of ice cream were placed in front of it. I ate mine with a spoon but Iris still ate hers with her fingers. The mix of the gooey cake and the cold but not frozen ice cream was making me feel giddy and hyper but something was making me stay put. Usually, I would be running around in circles but I felt like rocks were in my tummy. What was going on?

"You two can stay here forever with us." Petermon spoke. "And play with the other children and eat ice cream, and cookies, and do anything you want."

"Anything?" I asked but then I remembered something. I pushed the rocks in my tummy and focused on the blonde fairy. "Tinkermon is supposed to give me money."

"Huh?" Petermon looked up at Tinkermon. "You did?"

"No, I didn't." Tinkermon said in a fast voice. She sounded funny talking in a squeaky voice.

"Yeah, you're the Tooth Fairy and you take my tooth and give me money so I can give Daddy it." I said. "I have to give Daddy the money...or Mommy cause Daddy is at work. Actually, I think I left the tooth home. Can we go back and get it?"

"Tinkermon will give you anything you will like as long as you stay here. She will go fetch your tooth." Petermon said and with a wave of his hand the empty bowls and plates disappeared magically. Iris gasped and pointed at the empty table.

"Leon, all gone!"

"Magic." I said. It was so obvious. Stupid Iris...

My belly was full and I felt sleepy. I yawned again. Iris did too. I wanted to go play though...but sleep was winning.

"Would you like to meet the other children?" Petermon asked still talking in a soft voice. "You two can play now."

"I'm sleepy." I said and lowered my eyes. Eating that made me so sleepy. Iris was becoming sleepier because she was leaning on me. My eyes were closing but not because I wanted them to. Eyes, open for me. Sleep. Eyes open, please. Sleepy. Sleepy was winning.

"Playtime will begin soon." Tinkermon whispered.

Sleep won.

"Leon."

I woke up to the sound of my name being called. I opened my eyes and Iris was looking at me very close so her nose was touching mine. I was on the grass again and it was still night. Why was I laying on the grass? I wondered where Petermon and Tinkermon went.

"Leon, Leon, Leon." Iris kept shaking me and touching me. Her face was covered in hair, cake and ice cream still and so was mine. Her sticky fingers were all over me and I was starting to get mad.

"Stop it." I pushed Iris away and I stood up. Where am I? It looked like we were in the field where Tinkermon took us but I was confused. I felt lonely and scared cause it was night, I didn't know where 'here' was. I wanted Mommy and Daddy too. I sniffed feeling leaky tears spout from my eyes. I know Daddy told me crying doesn't solve things nor it's a big boy thing to do but I couldn't help it. I started to cry.

"Leon, I want Mommy." Iris said and she started to sniff too. She pulled at my pajamas with her sticky fingers and her face puffed up.

But Mommy wasn't here. Mommy or Daddy wasn't coming. We were alone.

"I want Mommy more than you." I cried angrily. Iris hit me.

"I want Mommy now! Mommy now! Mommy now!"

I hit her back. "I want Mommy and Daddy too-but they're not here!"

Iris opened her mouth and her sharp teeth was on my skin. I yelled and hit her again. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

"Take me to Mommy!" Iris screamed. I felt angry and I wanted to make fire appear but I couldn't cause I was crying too much and my arm hurt from Iris' teeth. Iris took her teeth out of my skin but there were holes and blood. I cried harder.

"I'm telling Mommy you bit me!" I yelled.

"Take me to Mommy!"

"I don't know where Mommy is, Iris!"

We sat down, crying until we couldn't anymore. I hiccuped and Iris did the same. What were we going to do? Where were the other kids? Where was everyone? Anyone?

Iris stopped crying and started to wander around the grassy dark place we were in. She could walk fine but the ground was a little uneven and she tripped every few steps. I know I should be watching her but I couldn't care. I wanted Mommy and Daddy. It was quiet and I could hear nothing. I smelled grass and my head wasn't itchy anymore.

I walked towards a cave ahead of us. It looked dark and scary inside but I heard children playing. I don't know if it's really children, but when all of us go to the park, it sounds like other kids playing. Mommy doesn't let us go play with other children.

"Leon, I want Mommy." Iris was pulling at my hand but I threw her off.

"I want to go play with the other children. Stay here." I told her and marched towards the cave. I felt a little scared because it was dark, but I could see with my eyes. Mommy told us we have special eyes that lets us see in the dark. We have special noses that let us smell things others can't and we can hear things with our special ears.

"These are the things that make you unique." Mommy told me once and touched my nose. "Don't be afraid to use them."

So I used my eyes and I could see in the dark. It wasn't like normal seeing. Colors were funny and the outlines were strange-like brighter. Something like a highlghter that I played with instead of my markers and Mommy had to take them way.

The cave was deep and I stumbled a little going in. I could still hear the laughter and giggles from children playing and I followed the noises. Then, I felt funny like the back of my head itching again and I turned around. Iris appeared.

"Leon."

"I told you to stay-" I was about to hit her again cause she grabbed me but I heard a low rumble. It sounded like a big, scary dog or when Guilmon acted all funny and had to go with Takato to fight digimon. I grabbed Iris hand and I saw a big boulder that could hide us. It sounded louder.

Grr...

I whimpered and didn't know I was squeezing Iris tightly until she told me. I whispered sorry.

It was the black figure I saw in the trees. Shadow Man. He was crawling down the cave, on the wall and scurrying to the ceiling. He was still midnight black and I couldn't really look at him well. I was too scared. He was fast and he made noises that frightened me. I was stuck. I couldn't move. Help me, Mommy...Daddy.

Shadow Man had glowing red eyes and I felt my heart beat rise.

Tha-thump, tha-thump, tha-thump, tha-thump, tha-thump.

I don't like the red eyes. Red is bad and red means hurt. I pressed my back against the rock and stayed out of sight. I didn't want to look at Shadow Man anymore.

Shadow Man heard the sounds of the children playing and went towards it, letting out a growl. In the dark, I could see and Iris could see too cause she was scared of the monster. She was shaking and I covered her mouth. I knew that if the Shadow Man got us it would be very, very bad. Then, it was gone. Shadow Man disappeared.

"Leon, home...please?" Iris begged. I wanted to go too.

"Okay, let's go find Tinkermon and Petermon. They can take us home. And Tinkermon can give me my money." I put on my big boy face and took Iris' hand and we left the cave.

We heard the noises of the children get quieter...and quieter and finally quiet. Iris and I were out of the scary cave. I wanted to play with the kids but I was tired and I wanted to take Iris home. She may be a cry baby, but Mommy and Daddy said I had to watch her when they're not around. The itching stopped again. I wish I knew why my head itched.

We came to the clearing again where moon was above our heads and I waved at the moon. I wish moon could help us. I felt funny when I watched the moon. But, it was a good funny-like when Mommy holds me or when Daddy says I did a good job. The itching feeling brought me back and for some reason, I pulled Iris into some foliage.

It wasn't Shadow Man. This one was flying. He was so big and dark and I felt afraid. Very, afraid. Unlike Shadow Man, this one was lanky, and had longer arms and legs. He had gigantic dark wings and he was holding something large in his hand. He was all black like Shadow Man but this one wasn't growling. He scanned the area slowly, pointing the large object around. It let out a low hum sound and I could see it glowing purple. It was like those play guns that me and Uncle Mako sometimes used. There, the dark figure landed with a loud thud and looked at the bush we were hiding in. I froze and felt bad. Bad, bad, bad!

The dark person walked slowly towards us. I couldn't really see cause Iris was sticking to me as tight as she could and whimpering. I shushed her.

Tail unraveled itself from my body and I felt hot. I wanted to make fire. Sensei Renamon told me if I was scared and in trouble, I could use my powers. Could this count? Will Mommy and Daddy be mad at me if I used my powers? I don't want to be hurt and I can't let Iris get hurt even if she's a cry baby.

Green eyes looked straight at us and reached out with his claw. I reacted.

HELP!

I felt Iris go limp and let out the loudest scream I ever heard her make. It was so loud. Fire, I made myself appear in my hands. I let it go at the dark monster figure that was coming for us. The fire exploded. Hot. So hot and bright. My eyes hurt from looking at it. I grabbed Iris hand and I shouted and we started to run. Everything was happening so fast-too fast.

I felt like the itching was hurting my head and I can't scratch it. So itchy. Run, run, run, run, run, run, run-where was Mommy and Daddy? I jumped over a branch and Iris did too. She disappeared but she appeared ahead of me confused. I grabbed her hand and we ran. She kept appearing and disappearing in front of me as she ran.

Smash, I hit the ground hard. Owie. I felt pain in my hands and knees. Iris was down with me and she was crying. She had blood coming from her mouth and her fangs were out. I think she bit her tongue. I turned around and the sharp claws were coming at me. Closer, and closer. I turned and Tail saved me.

Whack!

Tail hit the figure. I felt 'strong me' pick me up and strong me throw fire again. I like 'strong me', I want to be 'strong me'. He sometimes comes out when Sensei helps me control my powers.

I want to be strong me.

I need to be strong me.

I want...

I want...

I want...

I felt funny, a little shorter as some things got bigger but I couldn't understand that. All I could think about was getting away. I looked at my hands and they were funny now. I had three fingers on each hand and I could make bigger fire now.

"Bada-boom!" I yelled.

Bada-boom? What's that? Why did I say that?

The fire almost hit the figure. I didn't want to stay, I needed to run. My feet were funny looking now. They had claws on them but I felt faster. Like the wind. Run like the wind, Leon!

"C'mon, Iris." I cried and took her hand. She seemed like my height now. Iris ran with me and I told her to go poof.

"Poof." she panted and like that she disappeared. Then, she reappeared ahead of me but I was already there. I was so fast! I was so much faster! We lost track of the figure, or he stopped following us.

We were back at the tree. The dead tree but the lights were gone now. Everything seemed darker, and more scarier. The tree branches poked out and looked like the claws we were escaping from. I shivered. It was cold now. I could see Tinkermon was there. She looked surprised I think cause she made a loud noise and jumped in the air. Her eyes were wide and her eyebrows went downward.

"What the-"

"We don't want to play anymore." I said. I felt fire appear at my hand. "We want to go home. We want Mommy and Daddy."

Iris poofed away and again beside Tinkermon. She shrieked, backing away from my sister.

"What are you two!? You're supposed to be human kids!"

I shook my head.

"I'm not a human! Neither is my sister. We're Leon and Iris."

Tinkermon looked strange. Her angry face came and I didn't like it. I felt more itching in the back of my head and I took a step towards her. I saw my hands were back to normal and Tail was regular again. My horns were out too now I could tell cause she was staring at them. She looked at me like that woman looked at me when she called me a 'monster'.

"Take us home!"

"Can't kid. You're stuck here. I guess I'll have to take care of this. The others are so lazy. Figures, Petermon couldn't take care of this." Tinkermon had her red pointy stick and I didn't feel good about this. She pointed it at Iris. Was she going to hurt Iris?

I threw fire at Tinkermon.

Sorry Mommy. Sorry Daddy.

"Gah!" she cried and dodged another flame I threw. Her stick was pointing at me now.

The itching felt impossible and I scratched my head wildly. So itchy! So, so itchy!

THUD.

"Double Impact!"

I saw something big land beside me. All I could see was big, black boots and wings. It was the dark wing man that chased us. He was big and looked so scary-I froze. Iris screamed and ran away. I ran after her. We found the table where we had cake and icecream from Petermon and we hid underneath it. I couldn't see, I couldn't look, so I held Iris and we could only hear voices. My eyes stayed glued to the grass. One of the voices was Tinkermon who said something but the other one-the scary one. He was low and bad sounding. Then a loud Bam! sounded.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

I couldn't hear anything else and it was all quiet. Iris was crying and I felt Tail wrapping itself around her. I could only feel my heart going thump, thump, thump, like a bunny all fast and speedy. I had a hard time hearing but after a few seconds of silence, the dark figure spoke.

"Leon...Iris..." that low rumble sound came.

It was the big scary man! His boots had metal pointy things sticking out. I stayed put.

Then I saw it. I saw Tail! It was like my Tail but bigger! So, so much bigger and longer and cooler looking. I slowly poked out looking at Big Tail. It laid there motionless, so I crept closer. Then, I touched Big Tail. It twitched. I jumped on it and it picked me up slowly. I gasped and I saw green eyes looking at me through a purple mask. The man looked like a digimon but a human too. I almost screamed but he opened his mouth. His claws wrapped around me, holding me steady.

"Leon it's okay. It's me-Daddy."

Daddy didn't look like this. Daddy didn't look scary or have Big Tail like me. I shook my head. He did sound like Daddy. Iris came out too, looking scared.

"Daddy?"

"Drooler, come here. It's okay." In a soft glow, the big scary monster changed into my Daddy who looked tired. A cut was on his head but I didn't care. I missed Daddy. Iris ran up to him and hugged his leg. He picked her up too.

"Why did you look so different?" I asked him after hugging him.

"I'll explain later, Pyro-" He looked around growling. I felt itchy again and scratched my head.

"Someone else is here. Leon, I need ya to take your sister and go that way. Uncle Mako is over there. I will be right behind." Daddy ordered me.

In a bright light, he became the dark scary monster and I cried. He put me down. The big gun appeared in his hand and it whined loudly. Like it was charging...

"I don't want to leave you, Daddy!" I yelled. He gave me push and put Iris beside me.

"I'll be right behind. Show me how fast you can run."

"Fast as I can?"

"As fast as you can, Pyro. Drooler, do that poof thing after him okay?"

"Okay..." Iris sniffed. I started to run and my sister appeared a few feet ahead of me every few seconds. I turned around and Petermon was on top of Daddy trying to hurt him with a sharp knife. I ran faster and saw Uncle Mako waving his arms.

"Leon, Iris-Oh, thank God you're safe." I ran right into Uncle Mako's arms crying and Iris did the same. I felt tired, yucky, and I kept thinking about the scary monster being Daddy. I felt bad that I let Tail hit Daddy...I also threw fire at him.

I hope Daddy wasn't mad at me.

"Uncle Mako, why is Petermon hurting Daddy?" I asked him. Petermon was attacking Daddy with the knife and it sliced his arm. Daddy let out a scary sound and threw him into the big tree.

"He's a bad digimon. He took you both away. They've been taking children away. Thankfully, we were able to track you two. Now, we need to contact your mom, my sister and get out of here." Uncle Mako explained.

"Auntie Ai?" Iris tugged at Uncle Mako's leg. He made a noise and looked around. He looked like he was looking for something. He threw his hands into his pockets.

"She's here too-shit, where is my D-Arc."

I gasped. Uncle Mako said a bad word! I told him and he growled,

"Where is it? I just had it in my hand-"

Then I saw Tinkermon suddenly kick Uncle Mako away and I screamed. She looked scary now and her red pointy stick was aimed at him.

Fire! I need fire! Strong me, help! I felt that funny change again and I ran after her.

"Leave him alone you stupid fairy! Bada-Boom!"

"Leon?" gasped Mako who rolled away from Tinkermon. The fire hit Tinkermon and she spun her spear to try to hit me. She missed.

I jumped and soared into the air onto Tinkermon. I pulled at something to get her to stop. Anything! I found her blonde hair and I yanked at it. Hard. She cried out and tried to catch me but I was faster.

Leon is faster than Tinkermon! Leon is faster than Tinkermon! Na-na-na-na-boo-boo!

"Bada-Boom!" I yelled again and I found my fire to be bigger every time I did that and I felt good. The fire burned Tinkermon and she knelt down. She growled at me,

"You little brat-get over here!"

"No!" Iris poofed over Tinkermon wailing and biting her shoulder. Poof! Before Tinkermon could grab her she went Poof! and disappeared. I threw more fire. I never threw so much fire in my whole life! Sensei Renamon would be so proud of me!

Then, a lot of Tinkermon appeared. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten-

"Nightmare Pandemic!"

I let my strong side take over and I jumped up into the tall trees. I was hidden. Iris was away and Mako was behind a tree looking surprised. I told him I could jump high! He just didn't believe me.

"Leon, get over here!" called out Uncle Mako who said something into the D-Arc and had Iris in his arms. She was squirmy.

My hands with the three fingers, I grabbed a few branches above me and I avoided another attack by a Tinkermon. I landed beside him. He picked me up. Tinkermon missed us by inches.

"Since when could you change into your digimon form?!" Uncle Mako ran out towards Daddy and Petermon.

"What?"

"You're form! You are in your digimon form! How long has it been since you could do that?" Uncle Mako cursed again as Tinkermon missed us again and I gasped. Mommy is going to make him put money in the swear jar.

"No swearing!" I warned him.

"Leon, answer me!" Uncle Mako was getting mad.

"I just felt funny and my head itches and I wanted to make fire and I changed. Am I a bad boy?"

Uncle Mako turned a corner and looked at me.

"No Leon, you're not a bad boy. You're a good boy. A very, very good boy."

"Can I have a lollipop?" I asked and the tree started to rumble. Iris screamed and cried. Mako looked around like a scardy cat.

"Later. Lindy, Ai; now would be a good time to show up." Mako was doing the funny talking to himself and held me tighter.

Then, I saw Tinkermon hit the ground and disappear with pieces of her flying away. Bye-bye Tinkermon! She didn't even scream or yell. Then I heard Auntie Ai's voice and I called out for her.

"Auntie Ai!"

"Auntie Ai, I want Mommy!" Iris screamed running to her. She looked relieved to see us and picked my sister up. She kissed her cheek.

"She's here just helping out Daddy. C'mon Mako, we're going to let them handle this."

Uncle Mako looked mad.

"We're just going to let our partners 'handle' this?"

Auntie Ai took my hand, yanked it and said something in a low voice to Uncle Mako. What did they say? I saw another Tinkermon disappear by a weird hand. It looked like it was a ghost hand but it didn't see me or us. It just went away.

"Fine, let's go."

But, I wanted to help Daddy! He looked like he was being hurt! I started to run back towards the tree where I saw scary Daddy fighting Petermon. I thought I heard my Uncle and Aunt's voices shout at me, but I ignored them. Sorry Uncle Mako, sorry Auntie Ai.

When I turned the corner I saw her. A white fairy. She was large like scary Daddy and was flying softly like an angel. Many Tinkermon tried to run at her but they would lose their body parts before they could touch the white fairy. I decided to avoid her and run to Daddy. He was hurt because he was on the ground and limping. I saw him come home once like that when he was short and purple and Mommy was scared.

But strong me wasn't scared.

"Bada-Boom!" I yelled hoping there was strong me still there. He was and I threw two big balls of fire at Petermon. He turned around,

"Die." he whispered and his dagger lashed out at me. But it didn't hit me because I felt myself thrown back and landed on the grass. Smack! Ow...

The white fairy-she noticed me.

"Stay the Hell away from my son!" she roared and I was confused. One second Petermon had his dagger out, the next he fell into pieces and disappeared. He couldn't even say anything because he was gone. Scary Daddy got up and went to scoop me up.

"Pyro, what were ya thinkin'?! Let ya mom and I handle this."

I didn't listen to Daddy because I was moving around wildly and shouted for Mommy. Where was she? Where was Mommy. I miss Mommy-

"Here, give him to me and I'll take him to Ai and Mako." the white fairy said to him. He looked at me, then handed me over. Tail curled around me and my larger ears drooped. I felt a little afraid of her. She did something funny to the Tinkermon and Petermon making them float away. But then I looked at her face. She looked so familiar and pretty...

"...Mommy?"

That's not Mommy. Mommy isn't a white fairy angel. But she smells like Mommy and feels like Mommy. I didn't know how I knew but I think strong me told me that this was Mommy.

"Sweetie, I'm in my other form. I see you found your digimon form too."

"Form?" I asked. She smiled gently,

"This is my mega form. Daddy is in his mega form too. We were so worried about you two. Did they hurt you?"

I shook my head and played with her blonde hair. I liked playing with her hair, it was all curly now.

"Mommy, am I a freak?"

Mommy shook her head and hugged me tight. Safe. Warm. "We're just different. Auntie Ai and Uncle Mako will take you back, okay? Daddy and I just have to ask these Tinkermon a few things."

"But you made Petermon disappear." I frowned.

"Petermon was bad. He had to go." Mommy said and made a frowny face. She started to walk away with me leaving Daddy to shoot the Tinkermon.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

"Don't look." Mommy's stern voice made me duck my head into her body. She's all cold now. Daddy was all warm and hot. Mommy felt like snow.

"Mommy, can I play with the other children later?" I asked her. She gave me to Auntie Ai and Uncle Mako, but looked at me.

"What other children?" her voice went strange, like she couldn't breathe.

"Iris and I found other children playing in a cave but Shadow Man came..." I trailed off. I didn't hear the children after the monster came. Maybe they went to play in another place or they hid like we did.

"Jesus, fuck." Auntie Ai said.

"Ai, stop. Take them home." Mommy told her and looked at me. "Sweetie, Daddy and I will be home soon and we can talk about this."

"Lindenmon, I don't think this is a good idea leaving you two here." Uncle Mako said.

Who's Lindenmon?

"We will be fine. Take them home, please."

I was in Mako's arms now. He's not warm or safe. He smells like funny drink that Daddy has sometimes. Iris was quiet in Auntie Ai's arms. She was sleepy and had some blood coming out of her mouth from biting her tongue. I had scrapes on my hands.

I was sleepy too. Strong me somehow told me that I was alright and went away. I had five fingers now and Tail was back too. I missed Tail. Other Tail was alright but I loved Tail better. I started to feel sleepy now too. My eyes weren't listening to me and they closed.

"...he changed. I can't believe it, sis."

"...Sh, just tuck him in. We'll all talk about it tomorrow."

"...Crap, all I got is a fifty..."

In and out, I felt soft covers of bed. My bed. I was home. Then I felt sleep and softness.

"Just give him..."

I woke up. It was daytime and I looked around. I was in my bedroom and everything looked the same.

But I didn't feel the same. My feet were sore and I checked my hands which were still dirty from the grass, and cake. I still had plenty of scrapes and boo-boos. But, I remembered something.

The Tooth Fairy.

I reached into my pillow and to my surprise, tooth wasn't there. It was gone. Instead was a crumbled purple note that had a man's face on it and special flowers on the back. I got out of bed and went to see Iris. She was still sleeping. I crept up to her tiny bed.

"Iris...Iris wake up."

Slowly, my sister woke up and I showed her my gift from the Tooth Fairy. She smiled and looked at me.

"Change again!"

"What?" I asked.

"Change into Daddy again." cheered Iris. "Want small you!"

"I can't change like Daddy can." I said but then I remembered last night. I did look like Daddy. I just didn't pay attention to it. I grabbed Iris's arm and we went downstairs to see if Mommy was making coffee. I wanted to show them what the Tooth Fairy gave me.

Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Ai and Uncle Mako were sitting around a table looking like they were talking but looked at us as we went down the stairs. I held Iris' hand.

"Good morning, guys." Auntie Ai stood up quickly and went over to us. "Do you want something to eat?"

"I'm not hungry." I told her but put my money up in the air. I waved it around. "The real Tooth Fairy came last night and gave me a million dollars! Can I give it to Daddy?"

"Uh-" Daddy was cut off by Mommy.

"Of course you can sweetie. You did say you would give Daddy a million dollars, right?"

I gasped and ran up to Daddy and put the purple note on him. I looked up at him. He was tall Daddy-not Scary Daddy.

"Now that you have a million dollars, will you not go to work and play with me and Iris for a little bit? I want to play."

Daddy looked at the note and back at Mommy with funny thing happening to his lips. It was like when Mommy burned dinner one night and Daddy was doing the same thing and Mommy smacked him-but it was a play smack so it didn't count as hitting. Daddy then laughed really loudly and called for pizza. Pizza was good.

"Okay, Pyro. Ya got me. I'll stay home today and play with ya."

"But-" Uncle Mako looked worried. Daddy waved a hand.

"We can't do anymore than what we did last night. Toots and I cleaned up, and the kids are safe. We'll track down that shadow freak later."

"We can be thankful that they're alright." Mommy looked at us. "And I think we should tell Sensei Renamon that you can change forms, she would be very proud of you. Plus, you have to tell your friends about your Tooth Fairy adventure."

I gasped.

I was going to be so popular tomorrow.

The End.

Author's Note: Well, that was fun to write. It was a challenge balancing words and complex sentences and still giving the essence of a five year old hybird named Leon who discovered he can change into his digimon forms. For those wondering why Iris or Leon didn't recognize his parents mega form, it's been quiet and they've been full time parents. They never really had the need to change into mega.

See you later!
