Hello friends! So don't hate me! This chapter is only late because I've been doing a lot of drawings to get into the creative arts high school of my dreams! Forgive me? So, umm, yea! Enjoy this chapter! :)
Brittany's POV
"Just one sip Britt?" Alvin asked me, holding up a partially emptied can of beer to my face.
I sighed as I rolled my eyes and sat up from the stretched out lawn-chair. "No Alvin, for the last time, I told you I don't drink."
I scoffed as he simply gulped it down and littered the beautiful white sandy beach with it. Why am I dating this boy?
"Ok, little-miss goody goody. I'll be back with some soda instead." Alvin said as he stood up and dusted the sand from himself.
"Whatever." I say as I lower my Ray Bans Aviators from my forehead and sunk back into my chair.
A few minutes later I heard footsteps approaching me.
"Alvin. Be sure that you got the Brisk pink lemonade. You know I won't accept anything else." I stated expectantly.
When I didn't hear his normal nagging response, I got slightly confused and mostly worried.
"Alvin?" I asked, nervously rising up from my seat.
Nothing.
"Alvin?" I asked one final time before being grabbed and ran away with.
Whoever was holding me wasn't Alvin. I could tell because they weren't running as fast as Alvin would have. But it was still fast enough to make my sunglasses fall off in the process.
I kicked and squirmed as I screamed to the kidnapper, "Put me down and go get my sunglasses this instant!"
But they didn't respond. Instead, they placed me down and looked me in the face. I couldn't tell who they were because they had a ski mask on, but they sure were pissing me off at the moment.
"Go get my sunglasses right now!" I ordered more sternly.
But instead of doing the task, they shook me violently as they yelled my name. "Brittany!"
Huh? What was happening? Why do I suddenly feel lightheaded now?
They shook me and said my name again, this time more silent. "Brittany"
"Brittany!" They said one last time. This time whispering.
"Brittany!"
"Huh!?" I yelled as I woke up.
When I fluttered my eyes open, I saw Alvin leaning over me, hands on my shoulders as he had just finished shaking me awake.
"What's wrong Alv-"
"Shhh!" Alvin cut me off. "You're sisters are outside of your room. They've been knocking on your door trying to figure out why it was locked. Where should I hide?!" He asked, still whispering.
Oh crap! I forgot no one knew he was here but me!
"Umm, go hide in my bathroom. And keep the lights off!" I whispered in a way that I was still yelling.
After making sure Alvin was completely out of sight, I unlocked my door to see both of my sisters standing in the doorframe.
Eleanor walked up to me and sighed as she said, "Brittany, you overslept! Rachel's already downstairs."
Rachel? …Oh crap, again! I forgot she was supposed to be coming over.
I rubbed me eyes awake and thought quickly. "Ok, thanks guys. Do you mind sending her up here for me?"
They both sighed in union.
"Fine." Eleanor said.
While they went downstairs to get Rachel, I went in the bathroom to look for Alvin.
"Alvin, where are you?" I whispered.
"Right here." Alvin said as he pulled me into the shower along with him, causing me to shriek.
"Oh my God Alvin! What the hell are you doing?" I exclaimed loudly. "We need to stay quiet! No one else knows that you're here, remember?"
Alvin rolled around on the floor laughing his head off. "Geez, Britt, take a pill."
I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Look, I'm about to bring up my friend Rachel, because she might know a way to help us get you out of here unnoticed."
Alvin suddenly stopped laughing and stood up, a serious look planted on his face.
"Wait, you mean I can't stay?"
"No, of course not." I said simply as I crossed the room.
"Well why not?" He asked.
"Because, it's only a matter of time before someone either finds out that you're in here, or that I've been spending way too much time in my room. Now I'll be right back with Rachel."
I walked back into my room and attempted to assume the same position I was in when my sisters left until I heard a knock on the door.
"Oh my gosh Rach, you're here!" I said as I opened the door after hearing a knock.
"Of course it's me! Who else do you know that's this tall?" She said gesturing her height. And she was right. She's like three more inches taller than Jeanette.
"Well, anyway, come on in!" I said as I closed the door behind her after she stepped in.
Rachel looked around the room in awe as she dropped her bags in the middle of the floor. "Wow Britt, your mom sure understands your taste considering she chose this out."
"I know right!" I said ecstatically. But just before I continued that subject of conversation, I remembered Alvin.
"Uhh, Brittany? You ok?" She asked me as she noticed my previously smiling face changed into a look of concern.
"Yea I'm fine. There's just a… small problem." I said as I slowly began to make my way to my bathroom door.
"Well what is?" She asked me, suddenly getting serious, following me.
"Well, uh, you'll see."
I suddenly yanked the shower curtains open, revealing a balled up Alvin sitting on the opposite side of the tub.
"Oh my god Britt! There's a boy in your tub!" She exclaimed, startled.
Alvin slowly stood up, smirking.
Probably at her fear, I thought.
Rachel looked at me, confused. "Why are you not scared?"
I practically laughed out loud at the look on the poor girls' face.
"Wait, you know him?" She asked, starting to get the idea.
"Well duh!" Alvin said as he hopped out of the tub. "Why else would she have shown you her bathtub?" He asked as if it were the most obvious thing ever.
Rachel just rolled her eyes. "Whatever…"
"Well, even though it was pretty awkward, Alvin, this is Rachel, Rachel, this is Alvin." I said as I finally finished laughing.
Rachel looked at me with disbelief as they slowly shook hands. Well technically they weren't because Rachel was treating his hand as if it was a dead possum, but it's the thought that counts right?
"So, this is Alvin?" Rachel asked, disgusted.
I slowly nodded my head in response.
"Well, he's not as cute as you said he was." She said.
After she had said that, my heart began to speed up. Did she really just say that out loud?
"Oh, so you think I'm cute?" Alvin asked in such a cocky tone that made me want to push him out of the window.
"No! Of course not! I guess when I told Rachel about you, she took it the wrong way."
"You don't have to be afraid to admit it Britt. I think you're hot too." He said, smirking.
Even though I wanted to blush and giggle, I couldn't let him win.
"Oh, god! You're such a pervert!" I complained.
"Hey, I hate to break up your… romance, but why is he in here and why did you show me?" Rachel asked, still confused.
"Oh, right. Sorry Rach." I chuckled. "We need to find a way to get him out of here without getting caught."
"Or hurt." Alvin added.
"No, I won't mind that last one." I said sarcastically sweetly.
"Well, what about the window?" Rachel asked.
"No way! I'd get hurt!" Alvin exclaimed.
"Like I said, I wouldn't mind it." I said.
"Plus, it's the only way." Rachel added.
We all walked over to the window and opened it.
Alvin looked down and gulped. "Are you sure?"
"Positive. Now off you go!" I said, rushing him.
"In case you haven't noticed, Britt, this is how I injured myself the first time." He pointed out.
Oh yea, I forgot.
I sighed. "Fine! We'll just use the rope to ease you down safely. Happy?"
"If it's the only way, I guess.
We got the rope set up and Alvin made his way down. It was much easier this time because Rachel was here to help, unlike last time where I was alone.
Alvin's POV
"Well, I guess I better head home now. Dave's gonna be furious." I said as I reached the ground.
"Well good luck Alvin." Brittany said. She was no longer in her rude mood and was acting kinda nice now. The way her personality changes kinda reminds me of myself. One of the reasons why I like her.
"Thanks for everything Britt. Sorry I couldn't bring you to the dance." I said disappointedly.
"That's ok Alvin. I kind of like what we did instead." She said sweetly.
"Well bye Britt. I'll text you." I said as I got my skateboard from the bushes I hid it in the previous night. Even though dave took away my phone, I know where he put it, so that won't be a problem.
I got onto the sidewalk and skated away, but I felt as though I was being watched.
Must be Brittany seeing me off, I thought as I made my way home.
Brittany's POV
After Alvin got his skateboard, I closed the window and sat next to Rachel on my bed.
"So, you and that boy Alvin kind of have a thing going on, huh?" She asked.
I slowly nodded, missing his presence already. "I guess you can say that.
Rachel suddenly shot up, smiling widely. "Now, onto girl stuff. Shopping?!"
I smiled. "Of course Rach! What else would we do for girl time?" I asked.
"Then let's go!" She smiled as she grabbed her purse and headed to the door.
"Ok. I just need to get my phone and my wallet. I'll meet you downstairs." I said.
"Kk!" Rachel said. Then made her way down the steps.
I picked up my wallet and threw it into my purse. I went to pick up my phone, but as I did, it vibrated. On the screen appeared a text rom Alvin.
What are you and "Rach" gonna so now that I'm gone? Have a pillow fight? Cuz if so, what kind of friend are you for making me miss that!
I rolled my eyes.
No! We're gonna have girl time.
Does that mean what I think it means? ;)
No pervert! We're going shopping.
Oh, well have fun. Don't break your arms with all those bags princess.
Whatever… cya
I clicked my phone off and got ready to have "girl time" even though the only thing that's going to be on my mind is him.
Hope you enjoyed that chapter. Sorry if Alvin made it too perverted, but he's Alvin! He can't help himself. Leave a review telling me what you thought about Rachel meeting Alvin in the tub. Or just a regular review. I'll take both, lol. Thanks for reading! The next chapter will be up as soon as I am free. Byee guys!
