Summary- Ruby is tired of celebrating everyone's happy ending but hers and realizes leaving everything she's ever known may be her last chance of finding it. What Ruby doesn't know is that not everyone is as content with their happy ending as she thinks.

Chapter Ten- Breaking Free.

Laying quietly where Robin Hood had placed her, Ruby lets her tears fall. Nobody even knew she was missing and here she was hoping they would find her and save her. She didn't understand what was going on with the man who was holding her captive all she knew was that he was a terrible man.

"Oh Ruby." Regina cries out looking at her girlfriend, she had arrived after a few minutes and was heartbroken at what she saw.

"Regina?" Ruby asks staring at the spiritual form of the mayor. "How?"

Smiling Regina floats over to the woman she loves. "I told you dear, magic." She whispers softly.

Ruby struggles against the chains holding her once again. "You came for me." She says smiling as she continued to struggle against the chains.

"Of course I did." The former evil queen says. "I can't stay long. I have to get back to the others and tell them where you are. I flew through buildings looking for you."

Ruby nods her head smiling at the brunette. "Come back to me when you can?"

"Always." Regina blows the wolf a kiss before flying through the door and heading back to where the others were as fast as she could.

Robin walks back into the room from the kitchen, "Who were you just talking to?" he growls.

"N-No one." Ruby stutters out, the fear that Regina won't come back creeping into her mind.

"Do not lie to me! Who were you talking too?!" He yells slapping her.

Ruby stays silent as tears begin to stream down her face, 'Regina please hurry.' She thinks to herself.

"Alright Tink you and Maleficent go after that Blue bitch. I have to stay here incase Regina comes back, Rumple and Neal keep working on those potions." Emma says as she holds the spell book to her chest, sitting by Regina's unconscious form.

"What can I do love?" Hook asks looking at his actual true love.

Emma smiles at Hook before looking around the room. "I want everyone else out in the woods looking for Robin Hood. Do not hurt him, from what Maleficent has said he does not truly know what is going on." She commands.

"Mom, can I go with grandma and grandpa? I want to help." Henry says quickly.

Emma hesitates as she looks at her son.

"We will keep him safe Emma." Snow says smiling reassuringly at Emma.

Hook notices that Emma is still hesitant and steps up beside Snow. "I will go with them love. He will be safe I promise you."

"Okay." Emma finally says kissing her son's cheek. "You be safe out there kid."

Henry nods before everyone leaves to do what they were told to do. Eugenia takes a small group with her and Marco as they search for Robin.

"Hurry back Regina." Emma whispers looking at her son's other mother's unconscious body.

Neal and Rumple continue working as fast as they can with help from Belle as she reads the ingredients out to them for each potion.

Blue was angry, no she was more than angry. She felt it when Hook and Tink broke the curse she had on them, not knowing that it was Maleficent that broke the curse. Watching through her mirror she spotted Regina with Ruby.

"Impossible, that bitch!" She bites out in anger.

She continues watching only to stand up quickly when she hears a sound outside of the room. "Who is it?"

"Blue, it's Tink. We think we've found a way to get Ruby back." The blonde calls through the door.

Putting on a fake smile she opens the door, "Wha-"

Before she can continue what she is saying she is suddenly paralyzed due to Maleficent using sleeping powder, then she falls to the ground unconscious.

"Huh, that was easier than I thought." Tink says shaking her head before they appear back at the diner.

Emma looks up at them as soon as they appear, "Wow you guys were fast."

"Still no Regina?" Maleficent asks the blonde.

Shaking her head Emma sighs, "I don't know what is taking her so long. The guys are almost done with the potions."

"She will be here." Tink says as they sit Blue in a chair and tie her up.

Rumple walks over and casts a binding spell on the blue fairy before heading back over to his post, working on the last potion.

Just then Regina appears and Emma does the spell putting the brunette back in her body.

"I know where she is." Regina says calmly.

Robin was mid swing with a belt he was using when his eyes went back to normal. "Ruby! Oh god what have I done?!" he cries.

Moving quickly he unties her, and moves around the cabin looking for the first aid kit. Ruby watches him in too much pain to say or do anything. Rushing back over to the brunette he quickly starts cleaning up her wounds and even takes off his shirt putting it on her.

"I-I am so sorry Ruby. I did not know what I was doing." He says softly as he finishes cleaning up her wounds.

Ruby stays silent her entire body shaking from fear of what he might do to her.

Looking up and seeing her fear he pauses, "I am not going to hurt you." He says softly.

"You already did." She whispers softly still afraid of him.

Robin hangs his head sadly, knowing it will be a long time before he was forgiven. Suddenly he looks up at her again, "I should find Regina or Emma! They can help you!" he exclaims standing up.

"What?" Ruby asks in confusion, why did he suddenly change?

"I'll be back!" Robin says quickly leaving the cabin and running off in the direction of the town.
